Steaks at this location can be hit or miss when it comes to how they're cooked. I've been here a few times, and the service tends to be slow. It took almost an hour to get our steaks, and when they finally arrived, they weren’t cooked the way we ordered. We love Texas Roadhouse, especially the rolls, but this location seems to have some issues with both service speed and cooking consistency.

We all ordered something to eat. There was 6 of us. 4 adults and two children. Their food was served first along with my Mother's chili. Our salads never came until our food was set on the table. Salads are always supposed to be served before the main meal. Not here.
Our person that took our meal order did not bring our food out to us. Do he was upset when my mother gave him 10.00. that was his tip for taking our food orders. The servers got a tip for their work.

It was my birthday yesterday we arrived no one showed us our table so we just sat down no one acknowledged us until 15mins later then we had a nice employee named Cruz take care of us I got my drink and my husband had to wait for his because the bar wasn't stocked we got our food we ordered a slab of ribs a baked potato we asked for BBQ on the side they had to take it back when we got it the 2nd time the meat was dry not a good experience they knew it was my bday no one sang to me no senior discount I turned 66yrs old I'm very disappointed I've never had this experience here before because we came for our anniversary in July

Best chain restaurant out there. I’ve eaten at 20+ TR’s across the country and every location has been consistently great food. Always order the sirloin, chili(AWESOME CHILI), and loaded mashed potatoes. Every location is great. I’ve even cut my sirloin with my fork a few times!! The very best part is the service!! They all seem to be having a great time. Their shirts say “I love my job” - they seem like they do! Oh and don’t forget the buns!!!

I want to express how disappointed I was with my recent visit. There was a hair in the rolls and a thick black hair in my salad. I informed the server, and while he did apologize, nothing further was done—no offer to remake the meal or provide a refund. I wasn’t able to finish my food and didn’t feel comfortable taking it home after that. I understand mistakes can happen, but finding multiple hairs in a meal is unacceptable, and the lack of any attempt to resolve the issue was really frustrating. I’m not someone who complains to get free food, but I do expect basic standards of cleanliness and customer service, and this situation fell short on both. It’s sad because we love going to Texas Roadhouse but will def be staying away at least from this location.

A fun and relaxing time is what we craved but that isn't what was had. My das ordered the shrimp, mom ordered the 12 oz Rib Eye and I ordered the small Prime Rib? Respectfully in that order so I do not know how when the waitress arrived with the food? She brought Shrimp and 2 Prime Ribs. It was taken back and a steak was put on but we were finished before it arrived. My mom canceled her order as she didn't want to eat alone. Accidents happen but it leaves a person left out, feeling alone and hungry. Sucks to be that person.

We order to go frequently, and we have scaled that way back because we can’t seem to ever a correct order or the food quality is just poor. Tonight is an example of that. The food is not even warm. The have the wrong salad dressing, no brown sugar as ordered, the receipt with god know how many people have touched was inside the salad container with the salad. The New York strip looks like they cut a piece off someone’s steak, and by the time I cut the fat off I paid $20 for 4oz of steak. I don’t know if it’s new management the last year or so, or if they just really don’t care anymore.

Our favorite steak house for special occasions. It's a little pricey but well worth it. We always get the onion Blossom because it's so wonderful and tasty. My favorite is the 16oz ribeye and my wife loves the shrimp and steak. We always seem full before the meal due to the delicious cinnamon butter and buns as well as the salads. They are so fresh and delicious.

We've never been to a Texas Roadhouse before, and the hostess at the front was not clear where we should sit. We ended up at the bar which turned out amazing! I usually love texas roadhouse but my last 3 experiences have been making me rethink my favorite steakhouse.

First, we used the app to join the line which said 20 to 30 mins. We arrived there in 20 mins and ended up waiting 30 mins longer. Not a huge deal but disappointing in the lack of accurate time frame.

Second, we were greated at our table promptly. They got our beverage order very quickly and as soon as drinks are down asked if we need some time. Of course we needed time we just got there. So we said yes please. Not even one minute later (looked at phone) are you ready to order? Keep in mind we have two kids meals to figure out. We politely said no we need some time. One minute and 30 secs later, she is back asking for our order. For crying out loud can u give us 5 minutes to get situated and get the kids meals figured out. But instead we rushed though our orders.

Third, we got our food pretty fast, which was surprising. I cut open my steak and it was rare. Now I see why it was so fast. They threw the steaks on just long enough to raise the temp and get a sear and threw it on a plate. My wife's was close to med rare, my one daughter was actually medium and our kids were med well. It is starting to seem like texas roadhouse does not know how to cook steaks properly. Instead of complaining and literally sending all our food back we just ate it.

Everything else was okay.

The reason I say 3 times is because at their rockford location, that I will never go back to, served me a raw steak. This i pointed out to management and I waited 10 minutes for another steak cooked properly. Figuring that was a one time ordeal, the next time I went it was very rare almost raw and sent that back again. It is not hard to cook a medium steak. After that I will not be back. Then we go to the janesville location and I run into the same problem.

Texas roadhouse is a joke and need to train their cooks better. I would use cation and always check your steak.

We ate here religiously and ordered to go for the first time now that our baby is not restaurant sit down worthy. Wasn’t given sauce for the fried pickles, and I don’t like them dry and floppy so I didn’t eat them. I called for a refund (think manager was Amanda?) and she only gave me 75% of the price back after hanging up on me and asking 800 times if I actually looked for the sauce. The steak is not something I go for, I love the blossom sauce/fried pickles, drinks, bread, salad, fries, so that was pretty disappointing to not even receive what was wanted but to also only get some of the money back. That was our first and last pickup experience.

Kim was our server for tonight’s visit and blew us away with her service! Very friendly and attentive, but overly attentive to the point of annoyance. Last night I found a fried piece of hair in my food, they only replaced the one item and gave me 8$ off the bill….. lost my appetite,I didn’t eat anything off the plate,.

The food is subpar. The ribeye was the best part. The ribs were terrible. Just avoid the fries. The mac and cheese had decent flavor but the texture was grainy from whatever powder they use. For presentation, they just throw it on the plate.
Concerning the atmosphere, it is obnoxiously loud, people yelling throughout your meal.

Something odd happened. I always order curbside and give extra gratuity. Tonight ordered salmon and steak. They didn't give side salads. Realize down road and return. Walk in without coat, which is why curbside to begin with. She gives two salads, apologize and offers zilch for trouble. And an exp like this totally makes anyone paranoid to not wanna touch what food given with a ten foot pole. And employee informed me same mgr went home for night not long after asking, which would be like immediately after our call cause it took me about ten minutes to get back there. This place ruined our Valentines dinner. After waitlisting us for an hour wait as we have plans and tickets for a concert after. Its been 2 hours wait for us and suddenly informed us it will take another hour wait due to bad weather and people aren't leaving. First of all they should not accept a lot of waitlist and tell us time of wait that are not followed so it wont mess up other people schedule.
