I usually have great experiences at Texas Roadhouse, but my recent visit to the New Berlin location was a bit disappointing. Our server, Brittany, seemed more focused on chatting with a regular at the bar than checking in on her tables. While everyone’s entitled to friendly conversation, it became a bit uncomfortable when some of the talk turned to personal topics that didn’t really belong in a restaurant setting.

Our interactions with her also felt rushed, even though it didn’t seem like the section was particularly busy. A few items from our order were missed, and my partner was cut off mid-order, which made the experience feel hurried and inattentive.

Overall, the food and atmosphere were what you’d expect from Texas Roadhouse, but the service fell short of the usual standard. Hopefully this was just an off night, as we’ve enjoyed this location in the past.

Food here is always decently. Well, food can sometimes be overcooked at times, depending on what you order. Comfortable seats, sometimes the music can be a little loud it drowns out your conversations with other others at your table.

I always thought that the rolls were free and I noticed on my bill That I was charged for a half dozen of rolls, which I thought was odd because we only ended up taking two of them in our to go boxes. Have gone many times, but have never seen that appear on a bill so I’m not sure if this is a new policy or not.

It was not a really good experience, I visit with my family to celebrate the birthday of a friend, I understand when you don’t have reservations you have to wait, but the waiting zone was dirty, full of flies, smoked cigarettes, garbage on the floor.
Inside, the environment was fine, but The meat taste wasn’t the same like other Texas I had visited before, I don’t know. We were waiting for the birthday scream or something special, but never came.
The next day, when I checked the receipt, I found a $1.99 charge for Ziosk Premium Content, what the hell???

This was my worst experience here. We came for my daughter's birthday dinner and the rolls were overdone, my dinner was missing the rice under my steak tips, the steak sandwich was not good a d the ribs were light on BBQ. Thus restaurant has really declined and will likely be our last visit.

This is for the New Berlin, Wisconsin location. Is there a restaurant policy that early guests must be seated right by the kitchen door?? My relative and I went weekly 3 weeks in a row between 3 and 3:30 pm and each time we were taken to a booth right by the kitchen entrance. When we asked to be seated somewhere else, the person seating us became confused BUT we were eventually seated away from the kitchen. Today the person seating us refused to let us sit away from the kitchen even though the place was 80 percent empty at 3:15 pm (15 minutes -
after opening). When I complained to the hostess she said if we wanted to sit at another table we would have to wait until the server for that area showed up for work. I asked what if we just sat at a table on our own, would we be refused service?? The answer was maybe. Maybe?? We then waited for a few minutes thinking we would be seated at another table. When that didn’t happen, we just left. We ended up going to George Webbs. They let us sit where ever we wanted. I have eaten in restaurants for decades but this is the first time I was denied a request to sit at another table besides the one right next to the kitchen entrance. Then told I might be refused service for sitting at another table. I have no complaints about the food or even service after we were seated the prior weeks. We liked the food, that’s why we came back. Why is it a battle to just get a table away from the kitchen in an almost empty restaurant?? Is it the extra steps someone might have to take?? Does each server have their own territory even when they are not on the job?? What?? Please post a sign “Guests are required to sit by the kitchen entrance even if they don’t want to and other tables are available. No exceptions.”

My wife, pregnant daughter and I planned on having dinner at that location and we disagreed with Texas Roadhouse changing the terms and conditions "at will" with a coupon we received.  I asked to speak to a manager, and a manger named Tiffany arrived. I asked her to provide a contact number for the corporate office. Her exact response to my request was, “do I need to google that for you?”

As a customer facing manager, Tiffany either assumes that I am not of economic status to afford internet connection, or she assumes that I am not intelligent enough to search the internet to find the Texas Roadhouse contacts.

Although I am not an expert in hospitality management, I believe that a more appropriate answer would have been to issue the corporate contact, or even to provide the general mangers contact. I firmly believe that a customer facing manager should not insult a customer’s intelligence, nor should assume a customer’s economic position.

Faith was a great wait person. She was attentive, but not annoying. We asked for some special handling of our order, and everything came out exactly as requested. Our steak was at that perfect point just between rare and medium rare. (Okay, I like mine extra rare; the bf likes his medium rare, so we compromise. This one suited us both. Yes, we shared a meal.) I love the food and service at Texas Roadhouse and visit at least three times a month, but I wanted to share some honest feedback. The line dance the staff does is definitely cute and fun to watch, but it can be a bit awkward during peak dinner hours—especially when it’s done in one of the busiest aisles. Guests are trying to walk by, servers are squeezing through with trays of food, and I actually had to wait for them to finish dancing just to get back to my table after using the bathroom. My friend even got a video of their performance. It feels like a safety hazard and creates an inconvenience for patrons. Maybe consider a different team-building activity that doesn’t disrupt the dining flow.

Texas Roadhouse always delivers a fantastic meal with lively music and a fun environment. We were able to jump in with a large party on a Friday night with almost no wait. Whereas Waukesha told us it would be almost 90 minutes before we could be seated. We ordered a good amount of food and everything came out pretty quickly. We also enjoyed all the tasty sides available our meals. Kids portions were plenty big and nobody left hungry. As we checked out we were all surprised at how reasonable the prices were. Thanks Texas, this is the first time I write a bad review for a restaurant, because I am also a restaurant staff, and this is also the first time I don’t tip the waiter, because I have never encountered such a bad waiter.

The two of us waited for more than an hour from the time we arrived at the restaurant to the time we left. What's funny is that we waited so long in a steak house and didn't get to eat steak.

There were no peanuts on our table, I told our waiter three times that we wanted peanuts because it is a Texas specialty, and he said yes each time and then left, he did it on purpose because I saw him put the peanuts next to him and then deliberately didn't give them to us, finally a waitress who passed by helped us

When ordering, he got the doneness of my and my friend's steak wrong, which caused us to wait 30 minutes again, but his attitude was very nonchalant, like telling us that this is normal, in the end we couldn't wait and had to take it away, we didn't get any apology

Finally, I want to say that it was terrible. I could sense the unfriendliness of the waiter. I felt that he was racist, which made me very disappointed. We did not have any dispute with the waiter. I felt that there was no need to waste time with him because I saw that his hair was falling out. I was afraid that he would get angry and become bald.

I registered on the application online for 6 people and a highchair on the wait-list. It was a 44-50 minute wait. I waited and then checked in when the whole party had arrived. I waited an additional 10-15 minutes to be seated. I had 4 adults and two children 5 and 10. Also a 6 month old baby. They sat us at a table that was not able to sit with people & highchair. I asked the waiter since we were not seated comfortably or even fit at the table if they could pull the table next to us to fit us. When that pair was done eating. The waiter said he would ask. Then other people left that seated table and it was getting cleaned. & before they sat at another table there. I informed them again that we had requested the additional space since we did not fit at the table. The waiter then said he asked the manager. The manager said no. Without even coming to see how uncomfortable and limited space there was to eat. I then requested before they sat another group to ask the manager to come to our table. They continue to bring a group of three people to be seated in six person table. It was two small tables put together. When a booth straight across from where we were was about to be open. Mind you that they had sat two adults and highchair at a 6 person table that they had sat down right before us. And they were saying they couldn't accommodate my family.

At this point the manager came. I asked her if how we were seated looked comfortable or even reasonable that we are crammed in this booth. She asked me how did request the seating on the wait-list. I told her I requested 6 people seated and a baby in a highchair. Also they did not give me highchair because obviously it didn't fit in the cramped corner seating area they place us in. My baby is 6 months old and they gave me booster seat. She is not capable of seating in that. We needed the high chair so that we could position her car seat in. There was not even room to get the table or even fit the car seat in the b.

The manager agreed that the table did not seat us comfortable but began to blame us for not correctly registering on the wait list. She said that they assumed that my group was five and highchair. I then asked her were on your application does it stated that you assumed the high chair is part of 6 people. She said it doesn't say that they just assumed. Then I proceeded to ask.

If that was case. When I checked in with my group & they noticed I had 6 people and a baby. Why was this not addressed then. So they would seat us appropriately. She said had no answer. Just to tell me that my family would have to get up and go back and wait again for seating to open up.

We were already seated and drinks and appetizers were or. She expected us to get back up and wait again. When there was a side table they could pull right next to us to accommodate my group. Since they didn't even clean up yet or seat the table. It was not an unreasonable request.

As we were talking to , her staff cleaned the table and sat a family of three there. She was even telling her staff why they sat them there. She was unwilling to accommodate us.

Then a bigger table opens up. And she ask if we would like to move. So I had to get my family of 6 and 6 month old baby up and move across the dinner room. Even though we were already seated and there was an additional table they could have just moved over to make the seating area comfortable and reasonable.

I am beyond disappointed and upset. In the treatment and customer service I received from both the waiters, the manager on shift. Even though every one could clearly see that this seating area did not work for my family. And the fact that I had to go back and forth with the manager and then try to blame me. When her reasoning did not make any sense.

I am beyond disappointed. This has always been my tradition to come to Texas Roadhouse on my birthday. To say the least my night was ruined. I had lost my appetite I couldn't even finish or enjoy my time with my family. After this experience I am sad to say I don't want to come back.

Hello, I have come to this location on more than one occasion and had great service in the past, but today wasn't okay for me. Starting with not being welcomed in, and then when I received my food, it was very cold. I sent it back, and the same food came back out and was still not warm nor hot enough to eat. Went here for my birthday, our server, Kaitlyn, was AMAZING. Very friendly and helpful. Because it was my birthday, I wanted the little treat, but I didn't want the loud singing and shouting that accompanies it due to sensory issues I have and she was so kind and chill about it. I got my ice cream with no trouble. Thank you for making my birthday dinner wonderful Miss Kaitlyn!

Not so thrilled with this location any more. I order to go & the order itself is usually right, but they almost always undercook my wife's food. I specify it to be well done, and even ask nicely on the special request section to please ensure that it is well done - but it never is.
