I don't care what anybody says.I love texas roadhouse and their steaks! I love the fact that I can pick out my own steak from the freezer when I get there! Customer service is always with a smile and always pleasant, our steaks are always cooked perfectly, the way we order them. Is it a fancy steakhouse steak?No, but for what it is.It's really good!

Me and my family came in tonight it was all around very good great food great service. Our waitress Cadie was absolutely wonderful very friendly, very good service. she made us feel welcomed and always made sure we had everything we needed. We had a great dinner, a ribeye and shrimp combo with a glass of wine. Food came as ordered, was served hot and plated well. It was excellent but the melted garlic butter for the shrimp was very salty! The bake potato was also hot and throughly cooked. The house salad was fresh and crispy. Aisha, our waitress was exceptional! She always had a smile and checked back several times during our meal. The atmosphere can be very busy and get load at times. The peanuts and fresh warm buns with the cinnamon butter are also always a plus!

went for dinner and joined the wait list before I even left the house. so when we got there we only waited a couple minutes. music is really loud, so you can not have a normal conversation and the waitress can not hear you. so we all had the repeat our order. I guess that's why all of our steaks where not cooked the way we ordered. Mac n cheese had no flavor. ribs and chili was great. waitress did asked how the food was, and I had to tell her to refill the drinks. lady you work for your tips, so don't complain.

Great place to eat after a great day at the Milwaukee Horror Con and also finding out our film Christmas Revenge was selected at The Hallow Ian Horror Hour. This is not typically my type of place, but I had a gift card so I took my teenager. I was pleasantly surprised. When we pulled in the parking lot was packed and my son groaned because he’s a hungry teenager 24/7. But we only had to wait 10 minutes and the hostess sat us with bread in hand. It IS definitely loud in there but I’m old so what do I know?

Our server was Mady and she was excellent. Attentive but laid back, which is the perfect combo IMHO. I don’t usually finish a drink but for some reason did and she promptly offered a refill. She also showed us a few things about the restaurant for next time and gave a great overview of the menu.

My son will eat as much protein as you put in front of him so he got a sirloin with ribs and both sides of Mac & cheese. Though he’s a boy of few words, he ate every speck of food provided without complaint. Sometimes that’s all you’re going get. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I got a pulled pork sandwich and it was excellent, though there was enough pork on it for three sandwiches. I took some off because I’m not one of those folks who likes really messy eating and I wouldn’t have been able to eat it all anyway. One of the best things was that the bun was grilled pretty well and it actually allowed the bun to firmly hold up and allow me to eat it like a sandwich without the whole thing falling apart halfway through, which kind of sealed the deal for me. Do not fear as to the rest of the sandwich contents though. My son was eyeing it up the whole time and scarfed down the rest of the pork in record time.

The final pleasant surprise was this little gadget on the table, which I ignored most of the time until I saw a trivia question about cats pop up. Well then I had to play a game and I kid you not, my teenager actually PUT DOWN HIS PHONE TO PLAY WITH ME and we won. It was a straight proper miracle.

So overall staff were great, timing was great, food was great, and the overall experience was great, if not just a little loud for my personal preference. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to take my son back if he asked.

I have never understood the hype around Texas roadhouse. It is always so crazy jampacked that I feel it’s hard for the food to be made with quality. I’ve gone a handful of times now and the food was just not good at all. Rushed and low quality. My sister ordered a medium rare steak and it came practically raw. Though I feel the busyness of it doesn’t allow for the food to be focused on. I find that to be pretty sad though.

Got seated at a table that wasn’t cleaned, waited 5 mins to get a waitress at our table, placed our order and it came out within 10mins and I believe steaks that are supposed to be well done done with no pink should take at least 20mins! Both myself and husband felt sick and went home both woke up in the middle of the night sick with bad upsets stomach, this has been the second time we went to this location and has happened compared to new Berlin location! Never again

On August 2nd, we had dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Oak Creek, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in a long time.

After being seated, we asked for water—it took 20 minutes for that to arrive. Bread service was also slow, and basic requests felt like a struggle. When we ordered drinks and appetizers, the server later returned to say she had spilled water on her notepad and couldn’t read our drink order. Drinks arrived much later than they should have, and even then, a water was still missing. When delivering drinks, the server appeared disoriented—banging glasses on the table and displaying poor depth perception. Honestly, it seemed like she might have been under the influence of something.

We placed our dinner orders, but she barely looked at us while taking them. We asked for more bread, and she claimed it would take 10 minutes—even though we could clearly see baskets ready to go. Twenty minutes later, she came back and asked for our dinner orders again, having zero recollection that she already took the order and clearly never having entered them the first time. She once more cited a spilled notepad as the issue.

We eventually flagged down another staff member just to get the water we still hadn’t received. When the food finally arrived, two of the eight meals were missing. One came five minutes after everyone else started eating. The other—ribs—never came at all. A manager brought the ribs when we were already finished eating and we told them to cancel it, as the person had already shared sides off others’ plates.

We asked to speak with a manager, who was polite but minimally helpful. We expressed concern that the server may have been impaired and was clearly not in a condition to handle a table. The manager comped the two appetizers and the missing ribs and gave us two coupons for a free blooming onion—a minimal gesture for such a chaotic experience.

In short: service was disorganized, confusing, and unacceptable. This was a 1 out of 10 type of experience, and we’re very disappointed that the restaurant didn’t do more to make it right. We won’t be returning.

Everything was great! I am a Grilling and Smoking enthusiast. Myself and my Family will not eat Steaks at any of the places we've gone locally. My Family and I prefer mine. Myself, I've never had a Restaurant Steak I liked, and most Ribs are marginal. I tried both here. Still prefer mine, but will absolutely eat here again. 4 adults, and 2 small children in our group. We were seated fairly quick. They sat us all the way in the back corner. It was so hot, my mom was on the verge of an asthma attack. She has copd and came in with an oxygen tank.
Our waitress was irritated and rightfully so, I'd be raging if I had to work in those conditions. We asked about the ac, as it's about 90°+ outside and there were no windows or anything open. She said nope, it's broken. We waited what seemed like forever for our food, about hour and 15 minutes. My food was absolutely disgusting, I had got the pulled pork dinner. I took one bite and spit it out. It was luke warm, dried out, and tasted like 3 day leftovers. If I would have eaten that I probably would have gotten food poisoning. In my 36 years of life, this is the first time I have ever sent a plate back. My mom's appetizer wings were cold in the middle, so they brought more out after another 30 minutes. I'm surprised the manager didn't come ask what was going on. We were legit just left in the hot corner, like we didn't matter. We overheard another table having trouble as well next to us. Funny that when we were leaving, the front of the house was nice and cold. Oh but it was "broken" You would think they'd put an older lady with an oxygen tank somewhere more comfortable, but I guess going out to eat is only for healthy people. Disgraceful!
This was my mom's 55th birthday dinner, sadly it was a mistake coming here, and I feel sad that I brought her here. Do better!

When I take my family out, especially if it's late because of grandkids baseball, I let them pick a spot.
I fly in from AZ and although there is a Texas Roadhouse near me, I haven't been in a long time.
The service was great, as the 1st 3 came, then myself, the the last grandkid, so our server had to be on her toes. She had a great attitude through the whole service.

Texas Roadhouse: Texas Roadhouse was founded in 1993, with its first location in Clarksville, Indiana of all places. Although it's been around for over three decades, this was my first time visiting a location. My family and I dined at the Oak Creek location on 5/23/25 around 6:00pm. The place was packed, and I initially had a hard time finding parking. Before getting into the food, I do have to say that I'm disappointed that they do not take reservations. That's a peeve of mine when it comes to restaurants. I see no reason not to do it, especially if the restaurant does a non-refundable deposit that goes towards the bill as long as you show up. Anyway, the interior was tastefully decorated, and both the restaurant and bathroom were clean. It did get a little loud making it difficult to converse, but that's expected for this type of joint. Our server Ethan did an excellent job of keeping everyone's order straight and was polite and attentive. Each table comes with a bag of peanuts and bucket to deposit the shells in. I thought that was a nice touch. First up was my Caesar side salad. The lettuce was crisp and fresh. Each salad also comes with a plentiful amount of cheese and crunchy croutons.
For my entree I went with their 6oz Dallas Filet, smothered in jack cheese and sautéed mushrooms. My steak was done medium just as I requested and was satisfyingly tender. I've had cuts from more high-end steakhouses that had more of a "melt in my mouth" feel, but for a chain this was alright. Being a Cheesehead I loved that there was an option to add melty jack cheese and found it paired nicely with the meat and sautéed mushrooms. Well done Texas Roadhouse, this steak is Doughboy approved 😋

We went there for dinner. We ordered appetizer, and two ribeyes of course drinks.
So this was what happened:

1. Took a moment for us to get our drink. Ended up the coke zero wasn't available so my husband had to drink diet coke(which was okay). Should have told us, instead of delaying his drink.
2. By the time we got our steak, we still didn't get our appetizer. Our waiter said "oh yeah I'm sorry I forgot"
3. My husband steak was beautifully made. Medium rare as he asked. Mine, was medium well(I asked for rare). We called our waiter he said "that's how we do our rare. Also yeah it's been a lot going on today, our chef is probably tired".
4. I got my steak, I cut it and it was raw and our waiter didn't even understand how rare supposed to look like. I returned the steak and got it back again for the 2 times(same steak). It was still raw.
5. Had to call manager she said the kitchen already closed. I got my steak back(the same steak that was raw for 2 times). That time it was medium rare.

If I could give no star at all I would have. But that would be unfair for the manager who stepped up and gave us solution. So thank you for the manager. For the waiter, could have been nicer, and polite. Could havent made us wait for drink, and remember our order.
