We came in as a group of 6 on a Saturday night. There was an hour wait, we called ahead and they texted us when the table was ready. We were sat in a booth, which was a pretty tight fit for 6. That is really my only complaint. Abby did a great job serving us even though the place was packed. Our steaks were all cooked the way we asked and we always had fresh, warm rolls on the table. I wouldn't normally come on a Saturday night but it was my son's birthday choice. I will be back but on a less busy weekday.
Update: We came back during the week. The place was just as busy. I'll never fault a business for being busy. Good for them. The service was good but our steaks weren't done the way we asked and ended up spending 2 hours there. If you can't rotate tables efficiently then you get a backup of people waiting for these tables. The salad mix wasn't very fresh, dry with brown edges, my potatoes weren't hot, the cheese wouldn't melt in my mash. My steak was over done, my son's over cooked and my other son's steak was rare but not even warm on the outside. The green beans were awful but those rolls are hot and fresh every time! Unfortunately this will be the last visit. I'll have to take my $170 elsewhere next time as this place just isn't worth it, I could get the same quality at Ponderosa for far less and I wouldn't set foot in there either.

The Waukesha location couldn't care less about service. Have had bad situations in the past, but let it go. This time they gave us cinnamon butter but no rolls in to go order. Takes 1/2 hour to get there. Called them and they said we could pick them up. Explained distance and meal was already getting cold. That would be an additional hour. They said sorry, it's a complimentary item so there was nothing they could do. That item is one of the reasons we go there. Also have gone to West Bend and they do not forget items and presentation is good. We are done with the Waukesha location. Mistakes happen, but they need to be made right.

Over-fed, over-served(not alcohol)under-charged,and over-satisfied! Typically a ribeye fan, but didn’t want as rich a steak and heavy fat meal that night, so I ordered small early evening sirloin, medium rare with onions, mushrooms. Actually the sirloin, which I’ve ordered before, was plentiful, extremely tender, juicy and very flavorful. I know I enjoyed it more than a ribeye that night, and at a great price. The lowly, inexpensive sirloins actually are the showstopper for the menu, looking at price/value. Management is by walking around and you are checked constantly for ways to make your dinner better or more pleasant. During this beef pricing disaster, it was a wonderful surprise.

Called in on Labor Day and asked if they had prime rib they said yes showed up with reservations and service was less than par this isn’t the first time I’ve came here and experienced this then was told they don’t start serving prime rib tell 5 pm reservation was for 6 pm the server said they where sold out you would think being a holiday they would be better prepared for there customers it’s very apparent they are lacking for there customers which is unfortunate .

Super disappointed!!! We used to love going to Texas Roadhouse at this location but now the service and food is not as good as it used to be!
Not worth the time and money. Was there last week with my fam. My kids really disliked the food once they lived here. The full ribs rack, seemed a little too small this time. Cactus Blossom- half cooked and soaking in oil!

Dry, over cooked steaks, uncooked potatoes, wilted salads, and a lazy, incompetent manager (Eric) who can’t seem to do two things at once which should be a requirement in a position like this. Terrible experience. Will not recommend nor go back. While I got served right away and my food came quick and hot, my server did not give me silverware until 15 minutes after seated. So there my salad waited for me to eat, no silverware. Then my hot steak and potato came out. And there it stood getting cold while I waited for silverware. Then I ate my salad, my steak got cold, then after I started eating my steak I finally got my first lemonade I ordered at the beginning. Just atrocious, nobody even cared.

I ordered a to go order, and the food was decent. I asked on the phone if each order came with the bread rolls and cinnamon butter. The associate said yes. When I brought the order home, the waitress only put rolls for the meal I ordered from the kids' menu, which is strange. Would would you include bread rolls with the kids' meal and not the 2 dinners I ordered? There wasn't enough for 3 people. And the hostess gave me buttered 🧈 corn instead of mashed potatoes and gravy on one dinner. I can understand how mistakes like this can happen. But it kinda ruined the meal without the rolls.

Had went for my dad’s birthday on a Tuesday night. Our server was Diego. After an hour of waiting for our cactus blossom, we had asked him where our appetizer was at. He never added it to our order. Told him about it and he goes and put the order in. He comes back and we were like we don’t want it anymore because it’s been an hour already. Waited another hour for our food to come out. Never bought out our chili, asked for A1 sauce twice and he never brought it out. We had to ask another waiter to bring it out. After that, I was not feeling well. I got food poisoning. I will not be returning.

The best thing about Texas Roadhouse is by far it's consistency. Every time you go there, no matter what, it is always the same. The fortunate thing is, that means it is good every single time. Also, in Waukesha, there is a server named Zach and he is an absolute gem of a person. If possible, you should ask for him by name to be your server of choice. Excellent.

Horrible experience, and especially with the manager.
They need to not hassle there customers to the point they get agitated. All because of a $6.99 appetizer. I had a coupon number even, and they had trouble on there end redeeming it. They asked me 4 times to confirm the number while i was trying to eat. To the point I got agitated. I said quit bothering me, and just charge me. You know what the manager did? just that. They charged me.

We had a disappointing experience at Texas Roadhouse, mainly due to the poor service from our waitress, Hayley. She seemed uninterested from the start and was visibly annoyed when we politely asked about items that were missing from our food order.

After bringing our meals, she never came back to check on us.. not even once. We ended up sitting for 15+ minutes waiting for boxes and the check. During that time, Hayley was restocking empty tables and completely ignored us, even though we were visibly done eating. We eventually had to ask another employee just to get boxes so we could leave.

To top it off, it was one of our birthdays… we let the staff know, and they acknowledged it, but never came back to sing or do anything. It felt like we were just overlooked the entire time.

We usually enjoy this location, but this visit was frustrating and disappointing from start to finish.

She also messed up my Girlfriends side, My Girlfriend ordered a Salad with 1000 island dressing and was brought Corn. Managers will lie to you about anything to get you to leave them alone. Employees family came in wasn't on the waitlist got seated right away and kept seating people when they whole party wasn't there even though they said it was the policy. I used to love this restaurant and especially this particular location. I have been there several times in the past 3 months and must say that the quality has deteriorated. My son and daughter-in-law took me out for dinner yesterday and the food, the cleanliness of the establishment, and the service left me stating to my family, "It's time to retire this restaurant."- meaning let's not go there again. Our food was luke warm at best, we waited so long for our food to come that our server kept coming back to our table apologize, we almost paid for the appetizers in search of food elsewhere. When it finally arrived at the table the sides were missing...I have yet to receive my corn. The waitress was nice enough, I guess, but we felt rushed. My son packed his food to go and later fed his grilled salmon to our dog. The ladies room was a complete and utter mess. Do better!! People are paying their money for decent service, hot food, and a better experience than we received yesterday.

Very disappointed with tonight’s visit. Our party of six was seated at a table clearly meant for four, which made the entire meal uncomfortable. The biggest issue, however, was the extremely poor customer service.

We waited 10–15 minutes before our waitress even came to the table. She took our order, dropped off our drinks, and then disappeared until the food arrived. There was no follow-up to see how things were going, no offer for drink refills, and no check-in after the meal—she didn’t even come by to thank us or say goodbye.

I understand it was a Friday night and a bit busy, but it appeared our waitress only had a few tables, so the lack of attentiveness was unacceptable. The food was average at best. Steaks were not cooked properly, and the burgers were dry.

We’ve had much better experiences at the Oak Creek and New Berlin locations.

I've dined in before and the service, food, and atmosphere are great! This time I ordered to-go and was equally impressed. The communication is clear and concise, there is parking for the to-go orders that are conveniently placed in front of the to-go window. The service at the window is as good as when you dine in.
