Had great service and yummy food, we enjoyed that we could have louder conversations and laugh on a Friday night. I really liked that the general managers personalize their location by listing their favorites and checking up on us that everything was to our liking. I'm sad to report because I was so looking forward to eating here. My prime rib was just awful. I needed a sharper knife to cut through all the different parts and unfortunately the meat did not taste good or melt in my mouth. Prime rib is one of my favorite meals but this medium rare piece was disappointing. I tried to eat the beef but just couldn't. Everything else was delicious, bread, Cesar salad, baked potato, sweet raspberry iced tea and even the grilled onions. Must have gotten a crummy piece. Maddie is an outstanding server! I would hesitate to go there again.

We were at Texas Roadhouse last evening, the food as always was great, but our server was lacking. I believe she said her name was Hallie. She never asked us if we wanted more rolls we had to ask for them twice. My husband asked for a refill on his soda, when she brought it with the rolls she gave it to the table across from us, the family didn’t know what was going on, my husband motioned that the soda was to come to us, and said the table across from us could keep the rolls.. We were just about finished eating before she returned to see how our food was, it’s a good thing we had no complaint. When it was time to pay our bill, I asked for our to go order and she told us she forgot to put it in, how do you forget when you are putting in the rest of the order? I know she didn’t like her tip, but she wasn’t worth more than she received.

I don't know who the waitress was because I was mid panic attack, BUT she was incredible. She had her hair braided tonight (03/13) my partner and I were seated in a spot kind of centered and instantly I felt my anxiety creep up. I asked the waitress if we could move to a different spot because I felt like I was being stared at. Now I know mental health is a different thing to deal with, but she was incredibly kind. She rushed off to figure out where to re-seat us and very gently placed her hand on my back and said "come on hun, you can sit over here" as she brought us to a booth nearby. The shame I felt for not being able to sit in the original place was intense, but this waitress was so great. This may not be your typical review, but because of her, who I wish I knew her name, I will be back! PTSD doesn't always play nicely in public, but she helped me to salvage my date night and I am so thankful.

First time I've ever been unhappy with Texas Roadhouse was today.

Our food was terrible. My entree was clearky burned. My husband's had no flavor and the gravy on the mashed potatoes tasted nasty. My $8.50 beer tasted spoiled. None of this could be told to the wait staff because they were barely at our table.

On top of that the music was so loud that even our waitress couldn't hear us. We needed to repeat our orders more than once. Then we were checked on once and we didnt see the waitress again besides to get the bill. Was it busy, yes, but not so busy that several workers could stand and talk.

It's unfortunate because we've never had bad food before but we will definitely not be going back anytime soon.

Visité este restaurante durante mi viaje a Wisconsin y me encantó. Es exactamente igual a los que he visitado en México y eso da a conocer sus altos estándares de calidad, sabor y servicio. Algo que me sorprendió fue ver que también aquí hay muchísima gente, se hace una larga fila de espera y puede pasar mucho tiempo antes de que te asignen mesa por lo que es recomendable llamar y hacer reservación.

Went in last night for the wife's birthday.
1. Finished our ordered appetizers (i e ordered, cooked, delivered, ate, finished BEFORE getting our first drinks.
2. Asked for horseradish. Waitress went around corner talking to coworker. Never got horseradish. Never even acknowledged it asked for it.
3. Not once did we get asked about drink refills.

Every time we go to Wausua TR there is some issue. Never a good experience. We decided during our waiting that this was our last time going.

Other visits included raw steaks being sent out and being told we can cook them at home to asking for a steak being blue (ordered medium rare) to be cooked more. Everyone at the table finished theyre meal BEFORE my steak got brought back out. Then told oh well you can warm it up at home. Place needs some serious managment adjustments.

Steakhouse chain with good food. Very busy location and there is a median that prevents traffic from turning in if not coming from the nearby freeway exit. Atmosphere is a bit too loud for me, but that is true to their brand and motif. I like to get a medium or medium rare new york strip, well trimmed. Its awesome with just salt and pepper.

Their quality has gone down in the WAUSAU, WI location. It feels as though they know people will come no matter if the food, service, or cleanliness is good. The bathrooms were dirty/unattended. The time before my 18oz Riley was 1/3 grizzle and fat, inedible. This time I mentioned what happened the time before and the waitress tried to get my order straight but although the steak was better it still seemed the quality of meat was low grade. One more time and I will stop coming. The manager went threw the motions of coming around but barely just nodded and ran away, not sincere at all, just going threw the motions. I hope they shape up because it was a nice place with tasty steaks and a reasonable price.

Hands down the worst service I’ve ever experienced and I haven’t even gotten seated yet as I’m writing this review. I made a reservation for a party of **nine** at 5:00 PM, which was confirmed over the phone at 4:00 PM. When we arrived and checked in, we were told there would be a 20–45 minute wait. I asked why, since we had a confirmed reservation, but the hostess, Calle, rudely told me that doesn’t change anything and we'd still have to wait.

We waited over 50 minutes before I asked for an update. Another hostess, Emma, told me it would be just a few more minutes while they wiped down a table. That “few minutes” turned into another 20+ minutes, all while we watched other parties—including groups as large as ours—get seated ahead of us.

By this point, we had been waiting over 1 hour and 10 minutes with a confirmed (through the staff over the phone) reservation and still had not been seated. To top it off, we stood directly in front of the host stand while multiple staff members made rude, unprofessional comments about our group loud enough for us to hear, and clearly on purpose.

Once we were finally seated, I spoke with a manager about our experience, and she handled the situation well. The rest of the service was fine, but I’ll never get back the lost time or the added stress it caused during our Father’s Day celebration.

This was the first time I had a bad Dallas fillet. Wasn't tender at all. The manager was sweet and gave us some money off the bill. I usually enjoy my leftovers but the steak was really bad. I ended up throwing it away! I don't understand how a tenderloin can be tough. I even get it medium rare which is usually perfect. This place is always busy but after beat seated right away I had no reason to think they were beyond their capacity to get food out on a decent timeline. After we ordered we waited for 45 minutes before I finally said if our food was ready we needed to take it to go. I got a Caesar salad and we had two kids meals. Zero explanation. It’s not that we were simply forgotten as our waitress checked on our drinks several times throughout that 45 minutes.
Had this been the first time this happened at this location I would have shrugged it off but that’s not the case. Not worth returning.

Had a wonderful service tonight! Our waitress, Miah, was very kind! I do reviews for either really great or really bad service... Alayna was awful. Very unattentive.. But the biggest thing is she took the kiosk away from me.. To be able to show my husband.. This was a nice experience. The Cesar salad was delicious. It was very busy on Sunday and due to various arrival we all were not able to sit together. The waitress kept forgetting my Aunts food (wine and side of broccoli). The Long Island was really great! My Ny Strip 8oz steak was delicious. The fries were great and Mac was decent. The bread was delicious although the first round was not glazed. Overall it was wonderful and we were celebrating a birthday so saddle option for a man was hilarious! The whole restaurant clapped for the birthday shout out! The game was playing so it was a lovely atmosphere! I was amazed to see a bison head display!!! So cool!
