Good spot, and FYI this is a great restaurant for people with Amex Business Platinum credit card who also enjoy HILTON hotels and their benefits and associated credits

First, there was ONE waiter working. With as SLOW as he is, they need another person even though it was NOT busy. Also, the body odor from him was sickening, noticeable and very offensive. I started to leave, but I was starved and was too lazy to go out b/c it was like 55 degrees.

I ordered a hot tea, and ordered. There were ONLY a few folks in the place. I party of six that left shortly after I arrived, and another party of like five and then me. It took Sohail 10-15 minutes to bring me a SPOON for the honey for my tea. He gave me a stir stick and looked puzzled as to why I wanted a spoon.

But I digress. I had high hopes for my steak. It had some kind of sauce on it, not steak sauce, but I’m thinking it’s because of all the FAT in the steak. As you can see from the pictures, a good amount of the steak was FAT.

The ambiance was quiet. Would I come back? Nope. Do I recommend? Sure try it, just don’t order the steak.

This is inside of the Hilton nestled in the heart of downtown not too far from the Capital building. If ever in the area, and you come here…please let me know your thoughts.

I’ve been to this place in the past with no issue but this time around, the only thing that was good was the whiskey. It started with a literal 10 minute wait at the hostess stand until the chef came out and seated me. He brought me water and a menu and said the waitress would be with me shortly as soon as he could find her. 10 minutes went by and she finally came to the table complaining about how she was pulling double duty at the bar. I said no problem and ordered a double whiskey on the rocks and before she could walk away I ordered my food. I ordered a Cesar side salad and the steak with seasonal vegetable. The salad came out fairly quick but was very overdressed which made me wish I got the dressing on the side. The steak came out a while later and was disappointing to say the least. It was a New York strip and was ordered medium. It came out swimming in a pool of greasy water and was very gray inside, not at all medium, it had absolutely zero flavor, almost tasted like it had been boiled and then seared. The broccolini was mushy with zero crisp to it at all and again, zero seasoning. I ate maybe 3 bites of steak and none of the broccolini. I ended up finishing my whiskey, paid the check and left. I won’t be back and definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.

It is not the best, but it is good if you are staying at Hilton.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner... All decent and reasonable prices for a hotel restaurant. The service is typically slow due to limited staff, but good experience overall.

I was attending an event in downtown Madison and despite the plethora of great food options around town , our group wanted to stay in the hotel for dinner after having drinks at the bar .

I was expecting better from the food especially as I have eaten at numerous Hilton restaurants around the country.

The restaurant is called Audrey Kitchen and it is adjacent to the bar . Bar and bartender by the way was fun and good drinks !

I chose what I thought was a cold salad bowl and added a seared Salmon as an extra topping. The grain bowl consisted of quinoa , sweet potatoes and a spiced version chickpeas that was warm (or warmed up) and a bit of a “blob” . Salmon was okay but definitely well overcooked.

I have to give kudos to the great service as the waitress was very nice and helpful.

Overall fairly mediocre experience when it comes to the food.

Lets of negative reviews, but most seem a year or more old. I had the Jalepeno Burger and fries, and they tasted great! Ordered cooked medium, and that's how it showed up. No complaints.

Ordered the papardelle. Noodles very undercooked, lukewarm (barely) and still hard. Barely any mushrooms - just little scraps here and there. Borderline edible and VERY disappointing. Manager offered free dessert, but why would I want dessert from there when the meal was so bad?? Server was friendly, but manager seemed uninterested. They should've comped the meal. Extremely disappointing, especially for the price. If I could leave a Zero Star review, I would. (Edit: I had this meal in 2023 and it was delicious. Place has gone downhill in 2024. Highly recommend you look elsewhere for dinner!)

3.5 stars but I'll round up because they were very accommodating to our party when we came in for a late dinner. The cocktails were actually quite decent, and they have a solid tap list as well. Fried cheese curds were good. Mains were decent. Prices quite low (by California standards). Overall, a perfectly fine hotel restaurant.

B+B, we got vouchers from the hotel and could choose 1 main dish, 1 from „her pantry“ and 2 beverages. The real coverage is questionable, the prices vary a lot. A buffet would be better for the Bed and Breakfast option.

Waited so long to be seated. Restaurant is understaffed. No one is there to let you know how long is the wait. So I just went somewhere else outside the hotel.

Food is mediocre. Went for dinner, salmon was over cooked and Brussel sprouts dried out. Peach cobbler was burnt. Gave 2nd opportunity and ordered breakfast. Am not pleased. Service is slow and inattentive.

They advertised that they serve breakfast until 11:30 but would not serve us breakfast when we arrived at 11:05. They claimed they had to begin preparing for lunch but we didn't see one single customer for the next 3 hours.

Just horrible. Food was cold, burnt and unseasoned. Every sauce was watery, oh and the water we were given to drink was warm(no ice either) service also took forever. I’m sure they’re great people but this experience was terrible, and hopefully no one wastes money on their overpriced menu.

Was disappointed with the experience. We had made a reservation to celebrate a birthday in the family. Service was pleasant, but upon the arrival of our food we all found that each of our dishes was lukewarm at best, in some instances entire portions of the entrees were actually cold. It tasted ok, but definitely would have been more enjoyable if the food was actually hot. I also have to say I felt bad for ther person in our party who ordered the shrimp entree as it was literally 5 shrimp on a skewer atop a small pile of risotto. And not jumbo shrimp either. It was a laughably small amount of food for the price. Other entrees ordered seemed more reasonable. Back to the cold food- we were going to speak to the waitstaff about it, but they never came back. Not once did the waiter return to the table to ask how the meal was, fill water, ask if we'd like more wine, etc. In fact we finished our meals and waited a full 40 minutes there with empty plates before a busboy came over and picked up some of our empty plates and we requested he send the waiter over with a check. We also mentioned at the beginning of the meal that we were celebrating a birthday and I have never been to a restaurant that didn't offer a small something for occasions, but no offer was made here. That part is really not a big deal I'm sure this isn't the only establishment that doesn't, but it was really just an additional layer of disappointment on top of an already mediocre experience of cold food and lackluster service that a $300+ bill really didn't feel fair for. Again I want to emphasize that service was pleasant, like they were nice when they were around but... Definitely lacking. And the cold entrees is enough to decide that I won't be back.

Beautiful views, comfortable seating, nice design / lighting & good service, but the food definitely isn’t worth the price. The menu looks good but the food is super bland & mediocre.

Fried shrimp were ok, cooked correctly & nice breading, but no flavor, no contrast element, literally a few slices of pickles - like standard grocery store pickles, less than you’d put on a burger - and that’s it for $20+. So disappointing.

Decent but not great pasta in the pasta dish, same issue - not enough mushrooms, no herbs, very bland. Good texture - could be a good dish with the house made pasta but without adequate veg & seasoning it’s just a big bowl of carbs.

Chocolate cherry cake, same issue, no cherries, very mediocre. They didn’t mention that they were out of cherries, which the dish is named for, just served it & left.

Cocktails OK - but no mint for a mojito - mint is cheap, your menu is tiny, get it together or put a different non-alcoholic cocktail on the menu.

Breakfast was decent but nothing special - great fresh brewed coffee though.

Not really a good choice when there are SO many better options in the neighborhood, literally steps away you can find everything on this menu done better at this price or less.

Watch out for up charges, & ordering one item to split they will bring 2 then zoom away before you can complain, say a loud & clear refusal to optional items.

Next time I stay I’ll get the coffee (NOT the Starbucks out if a carafe in the lobby, it was not good) the fresh brewed coffee & cocktails they did have were good, I like cheap red wine & that was good, but skip the food. The view is nice so it’s worth taking the time to sit & enjoy with a beverage, but skip the food.

The Audrey is located within the Hilton Monona Terrace. Seating is comfortable and pleasant. The menu is diverse and offered some creative dishes that could appeal to many; however, once the dishes came out, they were good, but not great. The exception was the grain and green bowl: this dish was a guest favorite and had all the components of a hearty and healthy meal. Chicken was added for extra protein and sustenance. Service was okay.

We chose to dine here after receiving complimentary vouchers from the front desk as the executive lounge was temporarily closed. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a friendly hostess who gave us our menus and took our drink orders.

As we glanced through the menu, my daughter opted for the Butter Herb Papaderrele from the kids' selection, while I decided to try the House-made Papaderelle. After a few minutes of a casual conversation with my daughter, a surprising robotic tray named Munson, rolled across the floor and delivered our food.

The highlight of my dish was the introduction of oyster mushrooms, providing a delightful texture and flavor that harmonized well with the argugla, parmashan, and lemon alloli. The combination was perfect and showcased the chef's expertise.

For dessert, we decided on the Apple Butter Cheesecake, a dessert that blended the essence of apple pie driesel, granola oats, and a subtly calming cheesecake taste. This unique fusion didn’t necessarily leave a lasting impression but was certainly worth the price.

The restaurant reveres Audrey Munson, whose influence extends far beyond its quirky robotic serving tray and namesake. Interestingly, Audrey Munson also adorns the pinnacle of the Wisconsin State Capitol located just a stone's throw away. As the iconic "America's first supermodel," her legacy gracefully permeates the restaurant's ambiance, adding a touch of charm to the overall experience.

Overall, our experience at this restaurant was very nice. The combination of delicious cuisine, innovative service with Munson, and a touch of historic flair left us extremely glad we dined here. My daughter and I wholeheartedly recommend this dining destination to anyone seeking a delightful culinary experience intertwined with a fascinating legacy.

We made a reservation well in advance and confirmed it the day before, however, they had no record of it when we arrived on time. We ended up being seated in a back room. Service was excellent but buffet was below average and rather expensive. We were all very disappointed because we planned ahead for a nice mother's day brunch and ended up having mediocre food in a terrible room.

Loved the food, decor, and ambience of
this place. It’s very new and fresh and well put together Didn’t know it was a hotel restaurant till we got there. Located inside the Hilton Hotel, this place is amazing. I recommend checking this place out for tasty appetizers, pizzas, drinks and awesome services

Must must try the Popcorn Shrimp, Fried Pickles and Wisconsin Cheese Curds. The pizzas were really good and so was the chicken sandwich. The service was excellent and we enjoyed our late night dinner there.

Stayed in hotel and prepaid for breakfast at The Audrey for convenience. Waited in Long line to be seated and waited too long for our orders and service. Called front desk from line to ask about room service or takeout option and told none. While seated during breakfast, saw several guests pick up nicely packaged orders to go. Overwhelmed staff. No spoons in flatware wraps? English muffins not toasted or buttered. Had to ask for butter since none on table. Some of our Potatoes burned black. Not impressed. Coffee was really good except my cup was empty most of the time. Should have gone elsewhere to eat. Blame covid? Seems popular.

Stayed at the Hilton and had breakfast here before a Wisconsin football game. I know this is Wisconsin, hell, I grew up in this state and went to school here, but why does everything need to be made unhealthy? I ordered a side of the turkey sausage and it was DEEP FRIED! Really? Besides that everything was supersized and nobody came to top off my coffee.

Out with friends and decided to give the new Audrey a try. Wow! The renovations are beautiful and our food was fabulous. Must try the cheese curds and wings - everyone loved both of these appetizers. I enjoyed my Elotes salad - fresh ingredients and a great dressing. The drink menu was fun and they had a good selection of beer and wine. Definitely a place we would go back to!

Beautiful gem hidden inside the Hilton Hotel. So this is not your normal hotel restaurant kids! The food is great, service and top notch and you'll only hope you have room for dessert. My partner and I both had the Elote Salad - great flavor and a nice spicy dressing. The decor is lovely as well. They have a new bar too that we'll have to check out on our next visit to downtown!
