Got a take out order for Garlic Parmesan wings, and fries. They forgot my Parmesan Sauce so i just got plain wings, and my fries were supper soggy. When I called this location and explained what happened, I even explained that i accidentally placed my order to a location a little further away from me, which was fine it was my fault, but i wasn’t calling to get another sauce just to let them know the mistake and was honestly just hopping for an apology. the man on the phone had attitude and said ‘there’s nothing we can do’ and hung up with no apology no understanding, nothing, which i just think is horrible customer service, and if your customers order garlic wings, they expect garlic wings.

Came for opening weekend. Our group came to The Bar to get a “specialty” drink. Although it t was busy, Dillon was the Man. Dillon was accommodating, friendly, and made our group of six the drink. Had to stop in and make the review. I wish all service professionals could see how he interacts and provides service. We will all be back next year and can only hope Dillon will be there, or at least, passed on his service skills to any he trains. Thanks Dillon! GO PACK GO!

When the atmosphere out weighs everything else. We normally go to the bar east. Which lacks atmosphere but shines at everything else. The food experience should be similar, between both places. This is far from the case. Normally we get a Cuban and a plate of the bar nachos. Today was horrid. Nachos were literally dripping grease everywhere on the paper leaving puddles of grease. The Cuban featured cold pork, and a slab of unmelted Swiss cheese. The food came so far apart from one another that my Cuban should’ve been piping hot. Not the case. Really disappointed in the dump this is becoming.

We placed an order for some food from here on a Saturday night, and when we placed the order on their website, we chose curbside pickup. I arrived right on time for the pick-up, checked in and a message populated that told me “thanks for checking in someone will bring your food out to you shortly” 20+ minutes go by and no one comes out so I gave them a call and the person that answers tells me that after 9pm they don’t have anyone to bring out food, so I will need to come in and get it. I totally understand being understaffed or not having anyone to run food out, but I would hope that once they got the notification that someone is there to pick up their food, they would give that person a call and say hey we need you to come get it, instead of just letting me sit there until enough time passed that I figured they weren’t coming out. At that point our food was cold, and nobody even offered an apology for the lack of communication. Even just putting a clear message on their website that states that curbside pickup is not an option after a certain time would be a good idea. I really don’t like leaving bad reviews for local businesses, but I have I tried reaching out to The Bar directly on their website’s “Contact Us” with no response for over a week- and I just want to bring to their attention the issue with their online ordering.

As a person in the industry I was extremely upset on how I was treated and the service I was provided while my time in. There was about 7 other people at the bar and it took over 10 mins to even get acknowledged, she tried telling me they didn't carry the liquor I asked for (same thing I always ordered here) she then refused to give me a paper menu and made me scan the qr code I know it can be quicker but she was rude about it. Moments later she came back to take my order I was nowhere near ready I voiced that and still felt pressured to put it in immediately I'm figuring because it was shift change and she didn't want to split the tip. When food finally came out, the other bartender brought it. She never once checked back on me. The vibe was off between her and the other bartender and she seemed to show the males more attention at the bar. She had hot pink hair I believe her name was Stacy I'm a frequent customer and had never seen her before I would never go in there while she was working again. Other bartender was very sweet!

I came in to purchase wings. I didn’t have a menuI just went to a restaurant and ordered food. I asked the person what my total was, he told me and I transferred that amount to my checking from my saving. He then said it wasn’t the right amount because sauce is extra so I then transferred more money and he swiped my card. On my bank it shows both payments were taken. He then said neither payment went through and I had to pay again to get the food I ordered/ I advised the payment went through and I wasn’t paying again: he said the other payments would fall off eventually. He got the manager (Joe) who also refused to give me the food I paid for or a refund. Then stated “you should’ve had more than enough money on your card just pay again” I stated I was not paying again and I showed the bank transactions. He stated he knew his employee made a mistake with the payment apologized because he was “new” but stated I still would have to pay again or I wouldn’t get the food I already paid for. I advised this was unfair and I don’t feel I would have been treated this way if I were a white person: he’s also the business ed teacher at west high school which is sad.

Just read Rachel’s review about being invisible. It was the same for us.

We waited about 15-20 minutes before anyone even noticed us. Several waiters and waitresses walked past us without even a word. Finally, a waitress came to take our order. I got my drink rather quickly, but my husband had to wait another 15-20 minutes for his beer. Meanwhile, people who came in after us got their food, ate, and left. We were still waiting for our food.

Lots of people looked like they were enjoying themselves. The music was so loud that you couldn’t really hear the songs, just feel the beat. It gave me a headache. It didn’t really look like the waiters had any assigned areas, they ran all over the place (and the place is big). Didn’t look very efficient.

Our food finally arrived and it was good. I had a turkey club on a GF bun and GF fries. Hubby had a burger. We shared GF cheese curds. I had water. He had 2 (small) beers. The bill was over $60. Although the food was delicious, that’s a little expensive.

Although we visit Green Bay quite frequently, I doubt we will return.

This message is for the guys and the lady from The Bar who helped us on Thursday, the first night of the NFL draft. My friend Christine and I were left stranded in Green Bay after the draft at 11::30. Our bus from West Allis left us there before we could get to it. Your people offered various ideas before the lady drove us in your shuttle van to a Kwik Trip in DePere by a Greyhound bus pickup spot. A semi truck driver on his way to Chicago gave us a ride to West Allis just off the highway. We just had to walk about 10 blocks to where Christine was parked. She dropped me off at my place five minutes away before going to her home in Oconomowoc. Thanks to your great staff for helping us out. Next time in Green Bay we will definitely visit The Bar. Thank you very much. The whole day ended up being a great experience.

Dillon was our server and he was fantastic. The NFL draft circus was just starting to take over GB and the Dan Patrick show was setting up for their live taping. None of that phased or flustered him, he answered all our dumb questions, led us in the direction we were hoping to go with our food and drink choices. Legitimately treated my wife & 2 year old Iike we were his only table. As a lifer in the bar & restaurant business, taking that ownership effortlessly is a real trait management should be proud of. On Saturday after sitting at Anduzzis for 20 minutes and being completely ignored, my wife and I decided to walk across the street to The Bar. I am so glad we did. The entire staff was amazing! Bar with plenty of screens. The staff was good, and the food was decent. They have GF options. The gluten-free (or celiac friendly out here?!) Cheese curds were the favorite. Their wings are above average. The 3 alarm wings are a 5 or 6 on a spice scale of 1-10. French fries are tasty. The rueben was ok, a little dry. It needed more sauerkraut and sauce. We would go back, especially for the cheese curds! Prices are a bit elevated, but given the locale, it was understandable.

Service sucked, a soon as we sat down we had to wait for a waiter that was chitchatting away with his coworker, not till I went and ask if we had to order food at the bar or if we got some one to help us out at the table he came and help. I order a salad my friend order their .80 cents wing special. The waiter that brought our food pointed out that the salad was missing the dressing and said he would bring it out, my friends ask him to bring him some ranch since he was going for my dressing but he never came back after several minutes had passed by I notice he was hanging out in the same area I found the first waiter, he was using his cell looking at who knows what and laughing away never to come back with or missing dressing and ranch. Had an outstanding night the other night, great service and energy from Madi and Issac. The Bar is a fan favorite for a game day!

Was there twice within the last week and Gwen was fantastic, food was amazing as usual and great service all around from Bri, Tuna (funny guy), Alesia, Ava (very sweet) and Vee!
