Food and service is still as great as it’s always been. The atmosphere and vibe at the new location isn’t nearly as warm and homey as their last location but their food seems to be getting better and better every time we visit. If you go, get an onion pizza and obviously their famous salad. The Bell is a staple in the U.P.

The food was good but halfway through eating, our waitress brought the bill and asked if we needed boxes “or did we want to continue eating?” We we not eating slow, so were surprised by her question. Each time she walked past our table, she stretched to see if the bill was ready to take. I finally put the rest of my food in a napkin and we left. We won’t be back.

1/2 STAR THATS IT! Good food but disappointing service. Had reservations for last night, had to wait 35 minutes before we were seated. Took forever to get food. Seen other customers come, eat, and then go while we where there, then was told they are waiting to open up a table of 13 and they wanted our table. All of our party said we will not go back!

What a great little place. Our First time dining. Only thing is there is no street signage. Name is a neon sign over door and only lit when open. Interior walls have personal pictures- nice touch!.. Great food, family run made with love.. we Had the 9 inch pepperoni pizza and the cesear salad for 2. Say leftovers! Will come back.

My wife and I have been on a tour of Supper Clubs in WI and took a trip to Hurley for our anniversary weekend. We couldn't have picked a better place than The Bell. An Italian restaurant with the founder own love story in pictures and articles on the wall was a perfect setting for our night. The food was excellent, my wife had the shrimp alfredo, and I had the ribeye.

We ordered 2 pizzas and an Italian Fry. All 3 were fantastic.
**Highly recommend the Chicken Lasanga Pizza!**

Staff was super friendly. They par baked the pizzas for us because we were taking them to-go.

We didn't get their "famous" Ceasar Salad for 2, but they looked HUGE!

We will definitely be back and are very happy we finally tried this place. It's always nice to have another good spot close to our cabin when we come up. I can't wait to try other menu items!

Fast, & very friendly service with a great atmosphere!
Their pizzas are delicious, and their Caesar salads with the in house Caesar dressing is one of the local favorites,(they run a special on Wednesday nights for this) along with their fish fry Fridays 😋that almost ALWAYS gets sold out before closing time!
Highly recommend this family friendly restaurant!
Definitely a must stop for dinner or just a quick drink at the bar!

The old Bell that was downtown had a perfect ambiance. Now it is so loud you can't hear the person next to you. They do have a great special on Wednesday- $20 for three topping pizza with their house salad. However, you wait 30+ minutes to even get seated. It wouldn't be a big deal if they had room to accommodate customers at the bar. Overall they shouldn't have moved from downtown.

I ordered a Califlower pizza to go but my entre in the restaurant was the Norwegian salmon with pine cone potatoes and a dinner salad it was delicious.😋
My husband had the regular pizza , it was called the works and he absolutely loved it as well. Our waitress was Carmen. She was great, from what we could observe all the wait staff seemed excellent. Food was reasonably. We will definitely keep going back.

Great service and the pizza is excellent!, updated 1-14-22, we went to the new location south of hurly , inside was very clean and a warm atmosphere, the waitstaff was super!!!!, we had a pizza ,ravioli , steak sandwich , first of all the pizza was just as good as it used to be, if not better, the raviolis cheese and meat, were by far some of the best around, the steak sandwich was done better than expected it was tender, moderately flavored , the portions were perfect!!! Did not have to wait long at all for the order , thank you bell for an excellent meal!!!!!

It was not what I was expecting - I ordered the “Tour of Italy” plate, excited about trying a little of everything but was really let down when I discovered that the sample plate is not really a sample at all because it was missing the best part - the meat. So my Alfredo was just noodles and sauce (no chicken) and likewise for my green noodles (none of the beautifully pictured chicken). So, don’t order the sample plate if you’re expecting a taste of the actual entree, unfortunately. When I addressed the issue with my waitress she didn’t do anything to reconcile the issue. I wish I wouldn’t have paid close to $20 for a plate of noodles... (although the noodles and sauce were still very good, just really missed the meat and def. feel jiffed). What I wanted was protein, what I got was carbs. lol. I wouldn’t have ordered the sample plate if I knew then what I know now.

The pizza is amazing I tried my 1st cauliflower crust here after having the regular crust if I didn't know it was a cauliflower crust I would never had known it was a good as the regular crust. LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ceasar salad dressing I am typically not a fan of Ceasar salad because of the dressing BUT not at The Bell & I have gotten extra so I can take the dressing home (I live 5 hours south) and have this amazing dressing on my salad at home!!!

The only negative to this place is I don't live near it anymore! Very glad they opened up this location. My wife and I travel quite a bit but this was my first chance to take her here. We had the pasta with homemade noodles and it was amazing! It was somewhat tight quarters, but not bad. I wonder if they won't do additions down the road as it seemed pretty busy and plenty of people were waiting for seating or stopping for to go orders.
Service was great though. Was able to enjoy a beer and they had picture books for our child to entertain him while we waited. Very glad we were able to enjoy The Bell! Can't wait to go back!

Oh my how much do I love The Bell! Even with the restaurant relocated from their historic building that I went to since I was an infant. The food was soooo yummy!!! Sausage pizza and a caesar salad that is the best food ever made! Thank you sooo much for keeping your restaurant open! This is one of the main reasons besides family visits I come to Hurley/ Ironwood. So many memories and cant replace the comfort food!!!

We used to love the Bell when it was in Hurley. We’ve even driven from Mpls just to have a meal and drinks, only to turn around and go back home. The “New Bell” looked nice but the food was definitely of lower quality. My burger was burnt even though I ordered medium and my wife’s green noodles were undercooked. Sorry Bell, but you’ve got some work to do.

This is a very good place to eat. The pizza is awesome and the Cesar salad is great. Nice place and staff are very nice and helpful. The only thing is the main room where you eat is very loud if there are a lot of people there. But that's no reason to not go there. Just know if it's bussy it will be loud in there. Overall a great place to eat and the bar is good to.
