Really great food and ice cream. Loved the variety. There was plenty of suave to eat indoors and outdoors, and everything was served promptly. The people here are really decent, and the sandwiches, etc ...are pretty good. Only thing that needs improvement is consistency. Sometimes, the sandwiches come out scrawny or with limited extras. I've paid for cheese, and not gotten it. Or, I get a tiny 1/2 tomato on each sandwich half, not covering it. A small bit of lettuce or onion. I hate spending $11 on a sandwich and leaving hungry.

9/4/24...Sicilian, Tuna Salad, and kids hot dog meal. Kids hotdog was 6y/o approved plus nice variety of chips. Sicilian and Tuna were normal, sub ingredients are basically the same everywhere. Bread was better than most though. Where they lost stars was the cleanliness. All the boths were dirty with crumbs. With 4 or 5 ppl working and we were the only customers, someone maybe should clean up. Everyone was friendly. Ice cream is always a 5 star.

I normally don’t do fast food too often. The Chocolate Factory was under my radar, but my wife and I ate there the other day prior to shopping. The service was excellent and people were very friendly and helpful. Food came out quick (and added like was the bun on the sub was warm). I had classic turkey sub and was surprised how good it was. Atmosphere, hey it’s a small chain restaurant, but I did like it over most other fast food restaurants. Nice decor with local school student art on the wall. Nice touch.

Love the selection of ice cream! You pay by the ounce for ice cream, so I always get at least 4 different 1/2 scoops of ice cream. When I want more flavors, I have the employee give me baby scoops. Subs arrive warm and made as requested. Employee usually asks if you want what comes on the sub, but if they don't, ask or a lot of times it's too much mayo or oregano. Never too many onions, which I have to always ask for more. There's also croissant sandwiches, hot dogs, salads, soups & chili. Some things ordered have an extra charge. Besides many flavors of ice cream, there's a lot of Sundae & malt & shake choices, besides brownies & chocolate chip cookies..

The food has always been good but the last three times I’ve gone, the WORKERS/SERVICE has been AWFUL. My food came out Luke warm and has not been as good as previous times. I waited 15 minutes for my shake as I watched the kids behind the counter flip cups around and take tiktok videos. Since the food has been hit or miss, I don’t know how often I’ll be coming back anymore. Please get better workers or address the current ones.

The food is great, but lately the service has really dropped off. The last few times I have ordered ahead for pick up I end up waiting 15 minutes after the prescribed time for my food. Today I had to ask where it was and was told “just finishing up” but clearly they hadn’t even started it. There end up being a lot of patrons standing around with scowls on their faces as they wait for their food. If you order ahead for a specific time, there should be enough organization to know when your lunch rush is coming and how to handle getting the pre-orders done on time. Otherwise, don’t take them. I think what gets me most is there is no acknowledgment that they fell short. Not even “I’m sorry for the wait.” That would have gone a long way. Highly disappointed.

Friendly staff. Enjoyed outdoor seating. Went here with a friend and it was pretty busy with a bit of a wait. Food was pretty good. I had a Buffalo chicken sandwich with a bag of chips and a pop. I asked for nothing on the sandwich but the meat, sauce, and onions but there was also lettuce and tomato added. I just took it off versus asking for a remake. Bathroom could use a cleaning. Ok, it's not the cheapest, you'll spend about $12 a person here or more. But they have the BEST subs over every other sub place! And they make shakes the right way - with ice cream instead of custard and vanilla with chocolate sauce instead of chocolate ice cream. Teeny bopper literally stood over us as he kicked us out at 9pm mid eating our food. It was cold and windy but he didn't give a care at all. Laughed at us from the inside. I've never been treated like that before, ever. While their food is delicious, I'm not sure I'll go back.

UPDATE: The owner contacted me and we discussed the situation. He agreed that we should never have been thrown out like we were. The real policy was explained to me. Hopefully that kid learns a lesson in customer service.

Me and my 13 year old son, visited this restaurant on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, about 2 p.m. for lunch, the weather was excellent that day, 78 degrees, so we thought we'd try out this great ice cream shoppe and restaurant. When we arrived, there was a beautiful outdoor dining patio with light's, where people were enjoying their lunch. Upon entering the restaurant inside, there were families enjoying their lunch inside the restaurant, where there is plenty of seating. Some people were ordering and sitting at comfortable booths, and some people were ordering their lunch on their work lunch break, who came in and picked up their lunch. Everyone was kind and respectful. What a wonderful little place, If I could have given this restaurant a 10 or 20 stars, I would have, because, for me, it definitely had a beautiful wow affect !!!! :) This was a cheery, brightly, decorated in super cute decor, I loved the colors of aqua and yellow, that made me feel happy, something reminded me of my youth, which was a good and happy time. As you enter the inside dining area, you go past a very nice outdoor dining area, like a beautiful patio with light's. Once inside the restaurant, there you will find nice booths, tables and comfortable chairs, with lighted lanterns on the ceiling and the ceiling itself has a tin ceiling, that was super neat. It was a whimsical, old fashioned but modern day flair, it was simply gorgeous !!!! :) There are also canvas art of food throughout the restaurant, which also reminded me of the older days, but again with a modern day flair. This is an excellent restaurant, very friendly, helpful, and great customer service. One lady that I believe was the manager, helped us with choosing the ice cream scoop size and matching 2 different flavors together. There was a very nice young man who helped us with our order of 2 ice cream cones, asking us if the ice cream amount was perfect for us, and it was. These cones were, double scoops on dipped chocolate, candy sprinkled, chocolate chip on the edge of the cones, which come with a nice plastic cone under your cone to catch bits of chocolate chips and sprinkles and even ice cream, that was very nice to have, my very first time to have something nice to keep you from having dripping ice cream, and the price was excellent, for 2 cone's, we paid only $8. they were beautiful cone's, we loved it !!!! :) We also received 2 sublike toasted bread buns, with larger than the usual frank hot dogs, I think they were even larger than Ballpark Frank's, with real chili on them, the price for 2, was only $16. and they were absolutely beautiful and delicious, we loved it !!!! :) The lady who seemed like a manager called our number and she had a great smile, when I received them on a tray wrapped in a paper on a hot dog basket, I was pleasantly surprised and said, oh wow, these are nice and the lady who served us, who seemed like a manager, said yes these are yours, enjoy, with such enthusiasm smiling and very great friendly customer service, and the warm welcome made me feel happy. The soda machine was super clean, we watched the lady clean all around the restaurant as we ate. Another girl was putting napkins in the napkin despenser's, which are at every table for your convenience. There are at least 3 very nice trash receptacles within the restaurant and at the outdoor dining area. It was very clean throughout the restaurant, bathroom area, inside dining room area, and outdoor dining area. It was an exciting experience for me and my 13 year old son who is autistic, everyone in the restaurant treated us with great respect and I can't wait to get back for another ice cream cone, maybe even today, this is now one of our favorite places to go in Wisconsin, we absolutely LOVED IT !!!!! 🤩💖

Stopped here a out of town guests for a sweet treat and really wish I hadn't. For the price we paid for hot fudge sundaes...it should actually include more then a light drizzle of chocolate. And the fudge was cold and hard to boot? But what made matters worse was how rude the girl helping us was. She seemed as if we were inconveniencing her. They also had a sign stating they carry dairy free options which was great because one person in our party is deathly allergic to that. So we asked about it and got a huge huff and rolled eyes at us. Seriously? She proceeds to tell us that MAYBE this might work? What do you mean maybe? This isn't something we can take chances on? I realize people have bad days but something like that is unacceptable. Feel like we would have been better served and with better sundaes at the local McDonald's.

The warm sub sandwiches were delicious, I was so happy since they had chipotle mayo too. They were also super awesome in letting me get a small side (miscellaneous charge) of mac&cheese for my toddler. Their featured pumkin ice cream🍦🍨 yum! 🤤 super creamy and you can get as much or as little as you would like, they'll weigh it up right in front of you. 😃
