Hanging out at The Creamery on the City Walk overlooking the Fox River in downtown Green Bay, WI 54301.
Service is spectacular, truly a customer service team environment, everyone has a purpose.
Food was amazing, but as always Wisconsin portion defy my California sensibility.

Very disappointed that they don't honor supposed "older" gift cards. Over a $50 dollar breakfast for two (which I thought was pricey) and they told me gift card was too old and got stuck paying the whole bill. Won't go there again.

Got the "basic benny" and it came out with this giant hunk of ham on one side. I couldn't believe that they would serve it like that. Also got the basket of bacon, which the bacon was very hot and chewy. Which can only mean it had been sitting under a heat lamp for quite awhile. Very disappointing especially at those prices.

I inquired with the server how many pieces of French Toast come with the order of French Toast, to which she replied “4”. She then brings out two pieces cut in half. $9. For two pieces of French toast. Never again.

This place has all of the makings of something fabulous but never quite gets there. None of the staff had any real knowledge about allergies or gluten issues. When I asked about the ingredients in a sauce, there was hesitation, a very long wait, and then the waitress came back to tell me it had gluten in it but she had no other suggestions. I proceeded to go through the menu and look at sauces from other entrees and finally found one that was gluten-free myself. She was clueless. I didn't actually even finish my cup of coffee because it was awful. I had to salt my food because it was so bland, and we walked away still hungry because the portion sizes are so small. My daughter was 4 at the time and we were on a special mom and daughter date. She is petite and barely finishes her meals at home. She ordered the French toast, ate it and asked if there was more. At those prices, I wasn't going to pay for a second plate of something I could easily make at home for pennies on the dollar. The date was special, but the food really isn't worth the cost because it's bland and small. Nothing special.

Popular and busy place. Unique food items. Ordered roasted veges with egg and feta. Very light on egg and feta. Veges were good except for multiple chunks of woody ends of asparagus. Eggs Benedict and breakfast burrito were fine. Waitress very attentive. Staff very efficient

Me and my boyfriend stopped in on Sunday morning to just get a coffee to go. When we were sitting at the bar, the server at the corner was very rude and through menus at us.
And then when I asked if they had just regular woke after giving us a specialty menu, she gives me a look like I had a third ear growing out of my head. And said, yeah, of course, we do. It wasnt featured on the menu mind you. And while we were leaving, she completely ignored me and just said.Have a nice day to my boyfriend. So she went out of her way to make me feel really little after I did absolutely nothing. How very rude and childish. I did absolutely nothing wrong.

The chicken and waffles were 10/10, I literally cleaned my plate. Would absolutely get those again! Their whole menu was so nice it was hard to pick just one thing. The service could've been a little bit better - our waitress was not very attentive at all, and the place was not that busy at the time. BUT. I would still go back just for the food alone.

"Go To Sunday Brunch Spot" along the River
Looking to sit outside along the river and let your kids be free and dogs join you? Order from this spot "to go" and do just that. The Creamery is delicious and accommodating...never disappoints. The food is beautiful to look at and even more amazing to eat. This place takes all the worry away and you enjoy the day. Bonus, water sprinklers come out of ground nearby in summer. Kids love it!
And the hashbrown! Uh... made just for me!!! I could go on and on about hashbrowns in my day... this one should receive an award!!! Thanks soo much for the service with a smile and a helpful hand. Love this place!!

The Creamery Downtown is worth the wait. I had the Eggs Benedict Flight and it was absolutely on point—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully plated. The service was smooth, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even better. Be prepared for a bit of a wait (we waited about 45 minutes on a Sunday), since it’s walk-in only that day, but the lively, exciting ambience keeps the energy up. No doubt I’ll be back—this place delivers.

We have frequented The Creamery for years but I fear this may be coming to an end.

Look at how they massacred my boy! I don't know what happened to the breakfast buritto but it is no longer good, it's actually fairly shameful how far this menu item has fallen. It's something more akin to a sloppy skillet shoved into a tortilla and for $17 this is entirely disappointing. Whatever happened, change it back, it's not good.

Also, when did ordering extra anything constitute 3/4 of a sloppy plate fill of peppers and onions? After our waitress set the plates down I almost thought it was a joke, alas it was not. The peppers must have changed too because they are no longer spicy. This leaves us with the best part of the dish which may be the onions...?

Other interesting choices include serving it on a bed of an overly limed verde sauce, and watery bed of sour cream.

I'm curious if any other menu items such as the Town Drunk had changed as well. But after destroying what was the best breakfast buritto in town I'm not sure I want to try again.

On a positive note, the drink menu appears to have been redone and is a great step forward. The Honey Lavender Latte was fairly good.

I went to breakfast and ordered chilaquiles and I got disappointed by the concept that The Creamery has about chilaquiles. I’m a Mexican and those “chilaquiles” were nachos with spicy chorizo. The tortilla chip used was so salty and with the salsa the flavor disappeared leaving you a pasty consistency in your mouth.
Chilaquiles are supposed to be pieces of tortilla fried in oil and covered with enough salsa, with a nice salty cheese (queso fresco or cotija). Could include an egg or chicken and a side of beans.
I’m sorry but as a Mexican I’m still disappointed and keep looking for a place to try real good chilaquiles.

We came here a couple years ago and loved it, so HAD to come again when we were in town for the Packer game. We went on Saturday morning around 11:30 and were able to get a table for two right away. You can expect Stephanie to greet you right away when you come in with a huge smile and great energy. The service and food were excellent! We had the breakfast burrito, avocado toast, and hash browns (these are delish and you get a lot as a side!). We had bottomless mimosas as well - they have tons of flavors - pineapple was a front-runner, but the cotton candy was interesting! As sweet as it sounds and kind of a fun one if you’re feeling wild :) Will definitely be back whenever we’re in town!

Jake M was our server and was fantastic! This place deserves every star. The eggs on my Drunken Benny were picture perfect as far as how they were cooked. The “house” coffee was rich and served with full fat cream.
The only disappointment was how small the two person tables are and how loud it gets in there. It was the “bar on a Friday night at 10 PM” loud. At least everyone was a happy kind of loud though🥳

I solemnly swear that any further trips to Green Bay, I will be stopping at The Creamery first. This place gives off the best vibes. The inside is buzzing with servers dropping off delicious coffee cocktails, and breakfast plates to the patrons. Every plate and drink that passed by me I wanted. The service was top notch and the food was delicious.

Chicken and waffles- the chicken was fried and seasoned wonderfully. I like the small sampling of honey, that came plated on the dish. Gave the dish a nice touch of sweet and savoriness. (Also came with syrup)

French toast- pina colada- a bit on the sweeter side for my taste. But perfect for a sweet tooth

Really under deliver on the food. They are charging high prices for Sysco products and boxed waffle mix. Literally the same stuff you can get in hotel continental breakfast.

But what’s worse is today our waitress short changed us by about two dollars. When I brought it to the managers attention he said he would give us the two dollars but defended her taking the money. It’s only two dollars at the end of the day but defending a waitress stealing money (no matter how little) is incredibly odd. This place is obviously not ran with integrity and they are just look to sell cheap products for high prices and take your money. Shady shady business

Absolutely awful experience. Incredibly loud environment, cafeteria style seating and really disappointing food. Got a croissant sandwich and definitely just a square Sysco product, less of a croissant than even a kiwi trip sandwich. Bf got the salmon Benny and almost puked at how bad the salmon was. Definitely purchased hollinadse not made in house and not poached eggs. The only redeeming factor was our server who was very nice and tried to make the experience better so props to her but we will not be returning. Great if you like syrup mimosas, terrible if you want actual food not already made by Sysco.

Located next to the scenic Fox River, The Creamery Downtown offers not just a meal but an experience. The modern ambiance combined with breathtaking views of the river creates the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. On my visit, I indulged in the Grilled Steak Panini, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The moment the Grilled Steak Panini arrived at my table, I was immediately struck by its appealing presentation. The sandwich was neatly pressed, with the grill marks adding a rustic charm. As I picked it up, I could feel the warmth emanating from the freshly grilled bread, which was perfectly crisp on the outside yet soft and inviting inside. Taking the first bite, I was instantly impressed by the tenderness of the tenderloin. The steak was cooked to perfection, with a juicy and succulent texture that melted in my mouth. Each bite released a burst of rich, savory flavor that was both satisfying and comforting. The goat cheese added a creamy richness that complemented the steak wonderfully, its slight tanginess providing a pleasant contrast to the meat without overpowering the other flavors. What truly elevated the sandwich was the blueberry serrano jam. It brought an unexpected yet delightful sweet heat to the panini. The jam's sweetness paired beautifully with the savory steak, while the serrano peppers added a subtle kick that kept my taste buds intrigued. The pickled red onions and pickled fresnos introduced a bright, tangy element that cut through the richness of the steak and cheese, adding a layer of complexity to the flavor profile. The mixed greens provided a refreshing crunch, adding a lightness to the overall experience. This sandwich wasn't just a dish; it was an experience—one that I would eagerly repeat. The Creamery Downtown not only excels in its cuisine but also in providing an inviting atmosphere with spectacular views. If you find yourself in the city, this restaurant is a must-visit. I am already looking forward to my next visit to relive this culinary delight. Five stars!

yeah i normally really enjoy it here. it’s generally a good time. foods good too. was excited to see there were new items on the menu. unfortunately servers didn’t want to serve us. would rather do their side work. left us sitting without so much as asking if we wanted anything to drink. cleared tables, rolled silverware, set tables all while the dining room was almost empty. another man that came in before us had the same treatment & he still hadn’t been served by the time we walked out. as someone that served for years, i usually am so understanding of servers but there’s an order of importance and the customers always come before side work. we came over an hour before close, if they wanted to get us out timely they should have put our order in timely. plae bistro here we come!

The place was empty because we went on a Monday morning, which I was totally okay with. We were seated with a perfect view of the lake. The location and decor are great! The paintings are... interesting. Think Jack Stauber's short Opal but with childhood tales like Humpty Dumpty.

Service was fine, though we weren't visited often despite how empty the restaurant was. I was indifferent about that—oh well! Maybe the server had something else to juggle.

The food? Mid *at best*... I was not impressed. If anything, I was a bit turned off by it. I had the mango crepes with apple green tea, and my partner had the mac and cheese skillet with apple juice.

My partner’s food: Mac and Cheese skillet. The menu lists all the add-ons, but he got his plain Jane style. When I tried it, it wasn't good either. It wasn't terrible, but nothing that made me think, "Can we switch?" I couldn’t gauge how much my partner liked it, so this is just my personal opinion.

My food: It wasn’t good... I ate it because I was genuinely starving and hadn’t eaten for about 20 hours at that point. It was too sweet for my liking, with nothing to balance it out. I enjoy sweet things, but it felt like I was sucking down some jam. There wasn’t anything to mix it up—no tree nuts or other spices (which could obviously be removed for preferences). Overall, I felt like it was missing something.

***My tea was burnt/oversteeped, and I was very disappointed by that. Green tea water should be at 140-180°F. The tea should be steeped for 1-4 minutes, depending on the type. It was so bitter that I couldn’t finish it. I am an avid tea lover, and it really bummed me out. Tea is something I am passionate about, and I hope The Creamery can improve how they serve teas.***

The breakfast burrito! To die for! Run, don’t walk!
Hubby had eggs benny. So good he ordered an extra to take Togo.
Son got the mango crepes and we all had different craft cocktails!
Kayla, our server, was top notch! Ask for her by name! She was so attentive, informative and super friendly!!! Even with a packed restaurant! Give this girl a raise!
Zero complaints! This place is awesome, we wish we didn’t live 4 hours away!
But we will be back!

Looks like a fancy place. Stood in line for a while until I asked about getting take out. They directed me to a secondary bar with a place to order. Stood sy the cash register ready to order for about 10-15 minutes without any of the staff taking out order before the noise (twas very loud) got to us and we decided to walk somewhere else for breakfast and coffee.

Atmosphere: Loud, 5 people squished into a 4-person table very close to other tables, dirty bathroom, nice system to wait to be seated, friendly people, could sit outside

service- nice person, slow to take order, refill water, take bill, etc

Food- ham was so chewy it was inedible, some meals weren’t worth the $$. Not filling. Mango salad was good enough.Reuben was gross- corn beef tasted like plain pork, not enough sour kraut to taste, rye bread tasted like plain bread, cheese they chose ro include was not good compared to swiss (why change if not improved?).

I don’t think we’d return. The 30 minute wait to be seated was normal, but a 40 min wait for food once seated was too long considering the food was expensive for the quality and 3 of 5 meals we tried were not good. Three of us left hungry.

Ordered bottomless mimosas for myself during a brunch with my family, after 2 mimosas, the bartender cut me off. My entourage was confused as to why the bartender would use the excuse that I was slurring my words when I was talking the way I normally do ?

Bad experience! When we got there they had tables available but the general manager claimed she had a big party of 7 coming (I confirmed on weekends they don’t do reservations, and on top of that the group she was waiting for took 15min to get there) Didn’t say anything! We accepted to sit outside waited for about an hour never took our orders didn’t even get our drinks in. When we asked how much longer she kept pushing the time no one ever came. When others arrived they got seated and took their order. Really bad service!

I traveled from California to eat at this restaurant because I had heard very good things about it. I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. They didn’t want to sit my party because we were a large party. When we accepted to sit outside, they refused to take our order. When I went to complain they said that our waiter would be right out to take our order. We had already waited over 45 minutes. I will never come back due to the very bad service. I blame the host. She is to blame for our very bad experience.

First I want to start by saying, this is the first time this has happened here, I was in big group with 8, I knew they did not do reservation's, so the wait time wasn’t the problem. As more people were being seated down that had arrived after, they we’re getting served even before we could get our drink order taken, we were constantly being told just 10 more minutes just ridiculous after waiting for 1 hour plus!

My daughter and I were there for brunch this morning 7/14/24 at 12:45. They were fairly busy, we were told it would be about 20 minutes and they will text us. Just about 20 minutes later we got the text. When we returned we were shown to a table in the dining room when we had requested outside. The hostess was very apologetic, couldn’t get us a table outside but got us one at the window. Good enough! She was so accommodating!

Our server was Cali. She was amazing! Very attentive. Asked for feedback. Gave suggestions. She was funny and on point!

The food…UHHHH THE FOOD! It was delicious! we ordered fries for the table. Some of the best French fries I’ve had! . My daughter got the eggs Benedict flight. Eggs poached perfectly! The carnitas was amazing… and it was carnitas NOT PULLED PORK as stated in another review. They’re totally different meats. The flavor exploded in my mouth. A little kick bit of Kick, just enough to give it a very unique flavor. I can’t do spice and I thought this was perfect! The Hollendaise Sauce is home made. I can’t wait to go back and have it!

I had the the drunken something or other which was also to die for! I will definitely have it again but looking forward to the carnitas bene!! The chocolate martini was on point!

During our breakfast we agreed that we haven’t been to a restaurant that everything was perfect… from start to finish in a very very long time! NOTHING to complain about.

I can’t wait to go back. My sister is coming to town for a visit and we’re definitely coming here! Thank you for the wonderful service and outstanding food!!

I wasn't sure what to expect here, but it was pretty decent. I went here for a business meeting, and I got the avocado toast, which was pretty good. Coffee was alright, but nothing amazing. The atmosphere was decent as well. Nothing amazing, and could use more vegan options on their menu, but pretty good overall.

Update: I've been here a few times since. The quality of food is pretty consistent. They have a good vegetable hash, a few good types of fries, and my daughter likes their Mac and cheese just fine. They have some good-but-expensive drinks as well. They still need more plant-based options.

The service is quite hit or miss. We went there for Father's Day, and they told us it would be about a 45 minute wait. That turned into 90 minutes. We thought that's okay, some people just may be lingering longer than expected after eating or whatever. However, every step took a very long time once inside. We waited a while to order our drinks. Then we waited what felt like an absurd amount of time to receive them and put in our food order. Then it was a loooong wait for the food. Over the course of the hour and 15 minutes we were there, we saw our waitress online about every 20 minutes.

What does this mean? Well let's break down the numbers. They have a seating capacity of 85, which means about 22-25 tables. If you have only one waitress, and an average visit to a table takes about a minute, you can only visit them about every 22-25 minutes. I think there were 3 waitresses working, so we should have seen ours about 2.5 times as frequently as we did. They have a bottomless mimosa deal that would be completely absurd to get under these circumstances. Also, when your time to serve is so slow, of course it's going to impact the wait time. The bottom line is that you should definitely avoid this place during busy times, like weekend brunch and holidays.

We came here for the first time this past Sunday and were very happy with our experience! First, Stephanie the hostess is super friendly and great at her job. I didn't catch our server's name, but she was also very kind and gave us great service. We had a difficult time deciding what to order because there are so many great options! When our brunch arrived, we enjoyed our delicious food, especially the chicken and waffles. We plan to return with our family next time we need a brunch spot.

First the good! Our server was attentive but busy… she was back multiple times to fill my water. The location is great, right where everything is happening! The food came out late, we asked for an update at one point and it all came out dried up, and one of our sandwiches inside and out was burnt. Our server was gracious and apologetic and offered a replacement… I like this place for a lot of reasons. Today wasn’t a great day…

Great selection of coffee drinks and fresh juices. So many delicious options on their menu- unique combinations- will definitely be back to try them all! I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs that were perfectly poached. My husband had the chicken & waffles which was delicious!! Perfectly crispy chicken and a light, fluffy Belgian waffle. The hazelnut latte was perfect as was the Creamery latte. Highly recommend their coffee drinks.

We have stopped several times within the last few months. Each visit at a different time and day. This time was a 180 from our last visit, it was very busy and a long wait. For a Sunday we weren't surprised. We were seated and our server seemed very short with us and not much conversation. Our food arrived and it seemed ok, although the portion sizes compared to our last visits and the other plates around us seemed smaller. It was almost like our food had sat waiting to be served as it was also cool. It was near closing time and we were very hungry so we didn't bother trying to have it addressed.
The restaurant gets very loud and is difficult to hold a conversation while they are busy.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! If you don’t want to wait a super long time, go here on a weekday. Expect a significant wait on weekends, but the wait is worth it! They’ll take your number and send a text when you’re ready, though, so in the summer I like to pop over to one of the nearby bars for a quick Bloody Mary or something if my wait is an hour+.

The food and drinks are all artfully prepared and I’ve never ordered anything that I wasn’t 100% wowed by.

Atmosphere is 10/10 with a beautiful view of the river over the City Deck.

3 of us did brunch here on a Weekend mid morning and all 3 of us were underwhelmed overall.
Service was ok, not great for how empty the restaurant seemed, but acceptable.
The food wasn’t anything to write home about.
Two of us shared the Eggs Benedict flight.
It included one each of a standard eggs Benedict, one with pulled pork and one with Beer Cheese on it. Of the 3 the one with beer cheese was very good. The pulled pork was an odd combo and the standard wasn’t especially flavorful. Overall the hollandaise lacked flavor. The egg on the pulled pork one was slightly undercooked and the egg on the standard was overcooked.
One of us ordered the biscuits and gravy. The eggs were cooked a perfect over medium and the portion size was generous.
The biscuit was average. The sausage gravy brought way too much heat and yet managed to be very lacking in flavor. I’ve had significantly better from a powdered gravy mix at the Holiday Inn Express breakfast bar.
We had looked forward to trying a new to us spot, and now we know.
