I rarely write reviews, but I felt I had to after my recent visit. My evening was completely ruined by the unprofessional and extremely rude behavior of a staff member named Zaria. From the moment we interacted, her attitude was dismissive and hostile, which immediately set a negative tone for the night.

It’s one thing to deal with average service, but it’s another when a staff member actively makes you feel unwelcome. Zaria went beyond poor service—she said some truly outrageous and inappropriate things about Israel that were offensive and completely unnecessary in a restaurant setting. I came here expecting to enjoy my night, not to be disrespected or subjected to comments that had no place in a professional environment.

The atmosphere and food simply couldn’t make up for how negatively this encounter affected me. Hospitality is about making guests feel comfortable, respected, and cared for, but that was the opposite of my experience.

If you value being treated kindly and professionally when you dine out, I strongly advise against coming here. A night that should have been enjoyable ended up being frustrating, upsetting, and unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.

The salsa that came with the chips was way too spicy for me, so I asked for an alternative. The waitress at first said there were no other options-ridiculous. Then she offered guacamole and charged us for it. She never asked us how our food was, but schmoozed with other customers. Then she dropped a cup of marinara on the floor splattering all over my pants, but didn't even notice or ask about it. Another customer asked if I was OK. Just absolutely terrible service tonight.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Crow, and I have to say that it was an incredible experience from start to finish.

I decided to go with the Glazed Donut Burger, and to make it even more indulgent, I added an extra patty to turn it into a double. At first bite, I’ll admit the sweetness of the donut glaze paired with the savory burger felt unusual; but within moments, it all clicked. The combination turned out to be absolutely phenomenal. It’s the kind of unique, bold flavor that makes you step outside your comfort zone, and it’s without a doubt a must-try for anyone dining here.

For my side, I chose the fries, and I was pleasantly surprised to find an assortment rather than a single style. My basket included curly fries, crinkle fries, steak fries, and waffle fries. Each was cooked to perfection and added a fun twist to the meal as you never knew which type of fry you’d grab next, and they were all delicious.

The service was top notch as well. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and confident. She didn’t even write our order down, yet delivered it perfectly. That level of attention to detail and professionalism really stood out and made the experience even better.

Lastly, the atmosphere at The Crow deserves a mention. The vibe was relaxed yet vibrant, making it the perfect vibe to enjoy a memorable meal. Whether you’re there for a casual night out or to try something adventurous, it’s a spot that makes you want to come back again.

Downeast Cider Pumpkin cider and Surly Furious cider and beer were delicious.

We started with the breaded and deep fried cauliflower chunks that were called cauliflower wings. They were tasty!Interesting sauces -- dilly Ranch, Crow sauce (which is a creamy Buffalo mixed with Parmesan Garlic, really good!), and Sweet Chili. Their signature fries are a mix of shoestring waffle, curly, and regular.

We were not too hungry, but we had to eat something.

We decided on the turkey guacamole sandwich (we split it) and it was unremarkable. The lettuce was wet. The lunch meat was wet, the tomatoes were wet, everything contributed to it being completely soggy and mealy. Oh well. The "Mac of the Day" was 3 cheese, with Wisconsin cheddar, Parmesan, and Gruyere. That was much better!

We told the waitress about the terrible sandwich and she said "oh I wouldn't have liked that either, you want your bill?" After paying, we shared our experience with the manager.

The Crow has a great vibe, if we're ever back in LA Crosse, we'll come back again!

I typically have a few jobs each year that lead me to the beautiful city of LaCrosse each year. 🔧💕 The Crow is always my first choice when we first get into town - as the food, service and atmosphere are always top notch - and it is a short, pleasant stroll from the Hilton. While I have wanted to try a lot of the food on the menu, the Crow burger just always seems to hit the spot every time (Burger, garlic mayo, pretzel bun, onion straws and cherry wood smoked bacon - yeah, if you are salvating - you understand. Grateful that I don't have to deal with decision paralysis when I am at the Crow.) 😉 If you are staying downtown and are looking for some fantastic grub - or just want a cold beer and some ambience - stroll down here for a great evening. (Note: I am not getting compensated for this review - I just finished my Crow burger and started a second pint of Surly on draft - so I am just feeling the good vibes that downtown Lacrosse always brings.) 💕🔧😃

My husband, son, and I went there for dinner last night. One of my husband’s pet peeves is when waiters/waitresses don’t write down your order. In our experience they tend to almost always forget something about our order. And that’s exactly what happened last night. I never received the drink I ordered. Went after the WIAA State Track Championships. The food was excellent with variety of unique dishes. We had a burger with Mac and Cheese on it, a grilled cheese with Mac and Cheese on it and a wrap with spicy chicken and garlic. All three were delicious.
A good size restaurant with plenty of seating for larger crowds. Because of this our service was a bit slow. However it was to be expected.

I shared the buffalo chicken dip with my fiancé and got the spicy garlic honey wrap. While the food was very good, the wait was far too long for the food we did get and the waitress didn’t look my fiancé in the face once but looked at me multiple times. Along with this, my refill soda came extremely watered down (tasted like club soda) and with a sticky cup. I don’t think it was washed. I spilled a little of my soda and when the waitress came by with the bill, she set it face down on the wet table. 4/10 probably won’t stop by for personal reasons but if you don’t mind waiting 40mins for 2 entrees at noon on a Monday, this place still might be worth a try!!

I was there with some friends on 3/18/25. We had food and drinks and paid our bill separately. I gave the bar tender a 100$ bill to pay for my bill which was over 50$ (it doesn't take long at this overpriced place). The bar tender gave me my change back but only the bills and not the coins. He even gave me a receipt showing the total of the transaction. At what point was it his decision to not give me my full amount of change back correctly. what a creep. Guess how much of a tip he got. yep 17 cents. (he was a younger gentleman with tattoos on his neck) this place needs a good cleaning. The bar top was gross and I had to ask to get the stuck food off of the arm rail. There wasn't even a wet bar rag in sight. He had to get one to use (water only). just look up and around there. It's needs some pride. We won't return. Clean up your over priced bar.

Our food order got lost in the kitchen after we waited about an hour. The waiter came and told us what happened and was apologetic, said the manager was in the kitchen and our food would be rushed out next. After another 40 mins it finally arrived. Our 7yr old daughter fell asleep at the table waiting. Food was good but after being there for 2hrs I anticipated the manager would have stopped by our table and/or we would have recieved more than 2 drinks off our bill. Tried the duck wontons with spicy chili sauce and could hardly get any duck flavor, mostly cream cheese - tasted like they were frozen premades from Sysco. I had the honey mustard chicken sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese, bread was dry and stale and chicken had hardly any flavor, while the Mac and cheese was barely warm and Kraft tasted better. The aloha burger was a good twist, but the burger in no way could have been a fresh patty as they state on their menu. It was flavorless and dry like a frozen patty.

I was at The Crow on Friday night December 5th and although our server was very engaging a few of us asked for substitutions on our meals- for instance I asked for chicken on my flat bread pizza instead of the pork that it comes with. I was charged $3.00 extra for the substitution which I probably would have ordered something else. $16.99 for a relatively small serving is not worth it. Also it has BBQ sauce on it and there was way too much on it. The server should tell you if there is an upcharge for a change.

I’ve been to The Crow once before and ordered the cheese curds as well. They definitely still impress after several years. What I wasn’t impressed with was the glazed donut burger. It is a little bit of a false advertisement. The burger looks like it is between two halves of a donut, but it was actually a burger bun that was glazed like a donut. You get a similar experience, but with less quality. The burger should be called something else if that’s how it is always served, or just get some real donuts. I didn’t particularly like the fries, but my friend did. But overall, this is a great restaurant. I remember really enjoying it the last time I came and I definitely plan to come back when I am in La Crosse again.

Came in on a busy weekday dinner by myself so naturally I wanted to sit at the bar versus a table. It was pretty full so the hostess informed me of the backside bar, which was perfect. This must be the spot to go if you want to be neglected: I was greeted in a timely fashion, but after my one cocktail and food arrived the bartender NEVER came back. I waited ten minutes with dirty dishes in front of me when I was asked if I needed anything else—I did, the check, so I could get out of here and never come back. Burger with chorizo was extremely dry and over cooked. Order a traditional old fashioned and it was not the classic style of the cocktail, more like a weird hybrid of WI style and traditional. Busy place and good atmosphere, but everything else left me with much more to be desired.

Had cheddar and jalapeno cheese curds and chipotle burger, all were very good and we had good service.
