I visited while on a bachlorette party! The view is top notch and the atmosphere even better! My sister, the bride was met right away and given a bridal sachel to wear to rep her special day and the bar's name! The bar owner then bought "Dirty Turtle Shots" for our grou, of which was so yummy!!!! I definitely can't wait to go back!

While staying in the area from the UP visiting the dells, we decided to go off the beaten path away from the crowds and try something local. The food was about as expected, typical bar food at a great price.

The service was less than acceptable. Upon entry, we seen a sign that said free beer with burger purchase. My wife and I both ordered burgers, yet they still tried to charge us for her beer. I don't drink and there wasn't much for NA beer here so I drank water. After we sat down Seany P came and took our drink order and left without offering us a menu. When he brought our drinks out he spilled my sons dr. Pepper and even though he had a rag attached to his hip he made us go to the counter to ask Rachel for napkins. We waited an ample amount of time for Seany P to take our food order, we then again had to go to the bar and place our order with Rachel. Rachel then explained that typically they only take orders at the bar. If you don't do table service then why did you take our drink order at the table and if you really don't want to put out a sign if you dont want to greet us upon entry notifying us of your process. Even though we did most of your work for you, we left you a monetary tip. Here's some advice Seany P. Please spend some time learning some customer service skills.

Went to see Totally Neon, an '80's cover band. Outside bar was fun and stage setup was great. Prices didn't seem high to me (from the city) and service was excellent. Multiple TV's too so we could watch both Brewers and Badgers.

The chips were from the bottom of the bag and dumped directly on top of my tacos. No salsa was provided so apparently you are just supposed to eat them dry? Food was excellent twice this week. We often boat on Castle Rock Lake. But, the customer service by the bartenders outside barely exists. The young gals must just expect tips, because we weren't acknowledged, no smiles, hard to get drink refills. Just busy entertaining each other and their phones. Each day one bartender stepped up and helped us. Today one skinny blonde looked right at our piled up garbage and walked by. Husband went and found a garbage can himself. Not going to be rushing back. Headed down the lake!!!! Don't need their $7 draft beers, too expensive.

Waited over a hour, for our food that never showed up. I went inside to find out what the hold up was. I was informed that the kitchen staff never received my order. They were willing to give me a refund, but we were so hungry from the wait we didn’t want to leave and find another place to eat at. We should have though. They have somewhat recently redid the interior of the bar. Which is sad because the appeal of the place was the bad taxidermy and dive bar appearance. Ordered four bloody Marys. They ran out of garnishes so instead of saying anything they just didn't put any in two of them. It had hardly any booze and no flavor for $12. I grew up going to this place on vacation but sadly I'll never go there again.

You'll pay three times as much just to have someone mess up your order. 3 plain hamburgers (which I asked for with everything on it) and two beers was $87.00. And that's not even the worst of it. My diabetic teen son had low blood sugar and couldn't wait an hour for his burger so I asked for cranberry juice. She asked if I wanted "just cranberry juice?" I said yes. Very disappointed. Have been going here for 15 years. Had not been in 9 months or more. The food changed and the service changed. The food wasn't terrible, but it was extremely overpriced for quality you get. Some of the items changed from what they were, which made them worse. It used to be good bar food, now it just feels like overpriced frozen crap that you get in the dells. It was so disappointing. Portions of our order were forgotten about it, or not put on the order. The staff is nice and polite, but the experience is not what it used to be.

We used to stop at the dirty turtle during summer months on the boat. I haven't been there in quite a few years but stopped for lunch today. Waitress was friendly. Bloody Marys were ok. Nothing great. The food was ridiculously priced. Maybe it's on par for the overpriced condo communities all around it, but for mediocre bar food it's pretty sad. $18 for a simple burger and fries. We luckily were there on a bogo for the burgers, otherwise I'd be even more disappointed. The even more laughable part was the $10 kids meal for a couple scoops of store brand Mac n cheese and a handful of fries. Literally probably $1 worth of food. Bar itself hasn't been kept up over the years and is dirty looking. The pavilion outside is the nicest/best part. Won't stop here again on our next time through or on the boat.
