My daughter and I spent the better part of two days there this week working on school and work. The atmosphere was perfect. The music was phenomenal for both of us who are almost 20 and 50. We ordered coffee four or five days in row and each day was better than the next. The consistency, the value, the taste of the coffee was the best we have ever had. I wish we lived closer and didn’t have to wait a year for The Dock and its deliciousness.

Just funished my Avocado Toast and Caramel Macchiato. This is the best breakfast of this Memorial Weekend after a long road trip to MN. The place is rustic and relaxing. Music is muted and not too loud, staff is friendly and offered coffee choices when I couldn’t make up my mind. Well, what else can one ask for? Food, place, service they are Five Stars!

Who likes chicken salad? I love chicken salad. This was a wild rice/nut salad with Mayo and a scintilla of chicken bits, some of it dark meat flavored with a weird Mediterranean spice, on a smallish croissant for $12.50. Just. Don’t. I appreciate the coffee drinks and service but that’s it.

I’m in Spooner visiting from Kansas City, Kansas City has an amazing coffee culture with some pretty fantaskic bartsias. That being said, I can tell Logan at Docks did not disappoint, he pulls an excellent shot with steller friendly service and knowledgable about Docks coffee. Charmingly decorated for Christmas. I had a really good hot chocolate and an excellent double chocolate cookie.
The staff was really friendly, and patient answering questions about the menu.

I think it's due to their very dark coffee roast. It overpowers everything. No flavor balance, very aggressive flavor profile. Not happy, the owner literally wont let paying customers use the restroom. I'm not a lawyer or anything but I'm pretty sure having a restraunt without a restroom for paying customers is illegal.

Coffee is over priced and bland, I'm sure the staff mean well but most the time I've been in there they've seemed confused and too busy to reluctantly help you (maybe a management issue?)

Had a fabulous first experience at The Dock this past weekend! I really needed someplace that I could sit, relax, have a bite to eat, and use the free wifi to get some work done and this place fit the bill perfectly! Customer service was on point with friendly and welcoming staff. Food and drink was delicious - I had the Chicken Bacon Alfredo flat bread and a lemonade. The Flatbread smelled, and tasted, so heavenly that I forgot to grab a shot of it before I tucked in! The atmosphere there was very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend making a stop in at The Dock for breakfast, lunch, or just to grab a drink and sit a while. All around, it is a good stop!

The Dock has the best espresso drinks I've ever had. I live 2 hours away surrounded by independent and chain coffee shops that I frequent to give some perspective. The food and atmosphere here is also good. It's not the most convenient or fast and some of the service and quality seems to have declined since the owners shifted their focus to the brewery 2 doors down but it's still great coffee.

I’m a former barista and love trying local coffee, heard lots of great things about this place and always love to support a local business. My fiancé and I were on a long road trip and needed some caffeine, we felt bad coming in 15 minutes before close but noticed there were two employees and no one else in the store, so figured it wouldn’t take long. I grew up visiting spooner and love the area, but this coffee shop disappointed me. The man at the counter was rude and harsh, despite me being nice to him. He charged me for a specialty coffee that he claimed “couldn’t be made iced” even though it was a latte I was ordering. I, and everyone else knows, lattes are made to be iced or hot. He served me black coffee with no flavoring. I am assuming he told me this, because they turned their espresso machine off 15 minutes before close which is their own fault. We left 5 minutes before close so I am confused why he was so rude to us. I ordered a “red eye” with almond milk, and was served dark roast coffee. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, as I’m sure the coffee is normally amazing as everyone else rates it to be, but I was honestly hurt at how rude the man at the counter was to me. I hope others can have a better experience than I had today.

Wow! One of the best frappes and breakfast sandwiches I've ever had!!! I got a Carmel frappe which tastes like a delicious coffee Carmel ice cream. The breakfast sandwich is homemade - I got the egg and sausage with Provalone - the bagel had a buttery, crispy outside with a soft center. The shop itself is super cute with lots of space. For example I ordered the BLAT and it does not say anything about using some kind of spicy chipotle type sauce in place of traditional mayonnaise
Also I requested no avacado (which was not on sandwich) and to add onion (NOT on sandwich)
Rather expensive for what we got and VERY disappointed to drive an hour to check it out and not enjoy my lunch because it was to spicy

I think a better description and I personally would have opted to not have the sauce on my sandwich and would’ve been much happier

Only the BEST coffee shop in all the land! It is a destination for people miles around. We happen to have our lake house in Spooner. So every time we come from the Cities, our first and last stop is The Dock (and a few visits in between:) So glad they have woke this somewhat sleepy little town and delivered top-notch service.
