Went to Duke of Devon for a cocktail and shareable food and it was amazing! Staff couldn't have been more friendly. We brought our dog and they were so accommodating and nice. Drink menu had a great variety as well as the food. Definitely get the poutine and Brussel sprouts! Can't wait to go back!

Wednesday 9-15 we arrived at 430 pm. Murph served us a cocktail, told us about the specials for dinner.
I had Jambalaya, Teri ordered seared tuna. The 3 Sheeps Cashmere Hammer is creamy with caramel-cocoa-coffee nose.
A fantastic nitro pushed pint.
Each bite of dinner was a delite
The chef knows the importance of blending flavor & appearance. Well done to everyone.

Must try, hands down. We've gone both times we've visited Sheboygan, the first at the suggestion of the manager of our hotel. The first thing you notice walking through the door is that they nailed the decor. Dark, warm colors and walls adorned with the perfect balance of history and culture. The staff is attentive, exuberant and kind. As for the food, I come from a city where gourmet pub fare is the standard. I'd all but given up on finding it again upon moving to the midwest, until I had the joy of eating here. Our first visit I had the poutine (the thought of which is making me salivate four months later) and the cottage pie. Both were the best dishes I'd eaten in years. On our more recent visit, I went with one of the daily specials. It was enough to conquer my usually strong aversion to mushrooms. The description sounded too enticing, and I was rewarded for overcoming myself. Kid friendly, like a proper pub. The from-scratch mac & cheese and an actually juicy burger both went down well with my three year old. We will not make another trip to Sheboygan without dining at The Duke of Devon.

I was surprised that I didn't enjoy this place more. For starters, the bloody marry mix wasn't very flavorful. The curry slaw on the fish sandwich also missed the mark for me. It just doesn't go together IMO. Also, fish and chips portions are huge - which most would appreciate - however, you're given two thick, square sandwich filets. It's great for the sandwich, but it's a bit off-putting to eat as 'finger food' and makes for bad presentation. Breading is almost too crispy - like pork rinds. The fish itself (which we were told was cod) didn't taste like it or have the same texture - as it was firmer, dryer almost reminiscent of a salmon filet...very bizarre. All in all, not bad fish, not at all, but just not anything like traditional. Reg fries were also lackluster. The grilled cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries was actually my favorite. Simple, thin, crispy, nice real cheese flavor. Next time I'd order that instead.

Finally a place that tastes nostalgic. Growing up in the UK i have yet to find a place that feels and tastes like England until now. The food was great, lots of choice and drinks available. Seating in and outside, right on the sheboygan river front. Well rounded venue, you must go here!

I'm not really sure how to categorize this place. The decor and setup are English pub but the menu is kind of scattered about. For instance, having tamales as a special seems unexpected for a place that goes hard into the English pub theme inside. That being said, the Jambalaya I had was pretty good. It's a very interesting place. The layout and atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy. The Clam Strips were good and tasted like fried calamari. The fish and chips plate was big and delicious. Great tap beers, tasty fish and chips, and the short rib appetizer was very good. My wife got the salmon special which was prepared well but pretty small. For a $30 plate of salmon, I guess guess I just expected more than a small cut with a small side of vegetables. Come to think of it, $18 for a two piece fish and chips is also pretty steep, especially when the price for both of these wasn't shown on the menu.
Good food and a really nice environment at this place, I wouldn't mind going back... I just can't afford to!

I loved this place so much. They have amazing service, food, and atmosphere. Their burgers are FANTASTIC! The Duke of Devon was a great pub on the riverfront in Sheboygan! My wife and I stopped by on our honeymoon and grabbed some festive Halloween themed drinks and appetizers. The Witch's Brew (drink) and the Andouille Sausage and Chick Pea Soup were amazing! And, of course, we had to try the cheese curds - light and perfectly fried. The Cottage Pie (aka Shepherd’s Pie) was perhaps the best I’ve ever eaten - not mere ground beef! It melted in your mouth!

Fine variety of ciders as well - filtered and unfiltered!

Locally sourced veggies makes the place more attractive to boot and a great and knowledgeable server in Elliott!

Met two friends for dinner. We started with some Old fashioneds. I’m usually a Brandy sweet but ended up loving the whiskey sour more. We then moved on to food. Pakora’s were amazing. Best I’ve had. I Shared beet salad and house salad With two friends and both salads were outstanding. My entree was the Seafood Dal and omg, I’m still thinking about it next day. Creamy, the flavor was outstanding. We went to enjoy the pet friendly patio after a race at Road America. Great patio. Our waiter was wonderful. Made excellent drink suggestions and was very attentive. The staff is great. These are the I KY reasons I can give three stars. When it came to our meal we had issues. In an effort to not stay long since we had our puppy with and because our waiter was so nice we didn't say anything, but our food in particular was barely decent. The diners next to us had us envying their salmon special. We ordered a savory Shepherd like pie and the special salad of the day. The pie as I'll call it was quite oily. Flavor was decent but was lacking luster. The salad was really just sad. It was as if the kitchen scraps were added. Some tomatoes cut some not. Lumps of onion in quarters not separated or chopped small enough. Huge chunks of red and green pepper that really threw off the balsamic and basil not in a good way. The salad itself was barely a meal, thankfully I added shrimp. However only three came on the salad, they were not that large and it was a 6 dollar add. Definitely not worth 18 dollars for this salad.

Thankfully our drinks were good. We may be back if in the area on a Sunday when Trattoria Stefanos is closed, but we will stick to what is best from now on. Sorry, just very underwhelmed. We will spend on grest experiences. Very pricey for not satisfactory meals.

What a nice place! As someone from England, I sometimes shudder when I come across an "English Restaurant" but this one was excellent! We ate on the deck overlooking the river, which was very pleasant. We have been eating here since it opened. And we love the atmosphere and food. But it was our second time to be absolutely freezing in one of Stefano’s restaurants. We had been to Field to Fork two days earlier and it was so cold people had to get blankets from the car including our guests who had never been there before. We felt the same when we were at duke of Devon and had to wait to eat outside just so we wouldn’t be so cold to eat. You may want to really check that.

Great fish and chips, however, I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to the coleslaw with this type of meal. The curry coleslaw just didn't fit. Otherwise, would have been 5 star. Service and portions were great.
