Very cool and contemporary at a reasonable price. I loved the art work, furniture, and overall atmosphere. The food was a mix of American classics at a cheap or moderate price. I wasn't expecting a full bar with quality liquors and (breakfast) cocktails offered .

Omfg.... Finally got out to The Early Bird ... I knew it was gonna be good, but we're talking best breakfast of my life good! Got the country fried steak.. my inner fat kid came out n demolished the whole shiz... I shoulda taken an after pic of my plate ... 😅 I started snarfing before I even realized I should take a picture of this breakfast sorcery... The root veggie hash, just do it, it was absolutely phenomenal! As someone who used to have chickens and ducks, I have to say, even the egg quality was top notch, the yolk color, if ya know, ya know. I should also mention, service was great; our waitress's was name Haley! We will definitely be back!

Great breakfast place and the staff, the food, and atmosphere were awesome! My Jalapeño bacon blood mary was favorable with a hint of spice. I ordered the Spanish scrambled eggs and throw some chilli lime hot sauce which paired well with it. Would go back again!

The atmosphere is super cool and fun to explore all of the music memorabilia. The service was friendly and quick. The food was BOMB! I had eggs with spinach and tomatoes and the roasted veggie hash! DELICIOUS and a large enough portion to take half home for later. Best iced Chai latte I’ve had since moving here from the west coast. Just the right amount of spice. Overall a good experience. Very satisfied and will be back again soon.

Went to The Early Bird today after reading the google review from "GB" on how bad their Chicken Fried Steak is. I knew I had to try the Chicken Fried Steak because of this review and actually mine was quite good. I assume GB was having some sort of bad day or just got something she didn't like. I will say for $18 the portion wasn't huge (either was the biscuit), but it was fair so therefore 4 stars. Person I went with said his meal was good and the portion size was good for $14. We work in Allenton and will go back for sure

Don't order the chicken fried steak it's horrible. I ordered the chicken fried steak it was horrible and it was $18 for breakfast I will never ever go back there. Tried The Early Bird for the first time today! Great experience! The ambiance is rock and roll themed and the servers were happy and friendly. I got the "Put It down" which was eggs your way, choice of French toast or pancakes, and a choice of meat. It was very affordable for $7! I added hashbrowns with fried onions for an additional $3. It was all delicious! The coffee was piping hot and bottomless, which is great since most local breakfast places are capping off at 1 refill. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with this new eatery here in Allenton! I loved the food that I got-I ordered the chocolate peanut butter crunch buttermilk pancakes and was blown away by how good it was (not to mention the pancakes were big!!! A very welcome surprise!!!) I also got a turtle iced latte with oat milk that was delicious. I was surprised to see there was more than one vegetarian option which was also a welcome surprise (especially considering how hard it is to find even one vegetarian option at most other restaurants in the area). Very reasonably priced as well. Service was excellent-staff was kind and attentive, making sure to ask if we needed anything additional or refills which I always appreciate. I also liked the interior design-lots of cool sort of 80s nostalgic items like comic book, old movie and band posters, things like. Definitely worth the stop for breakfast!

We visited The Early Bird for brunch today. Short wait, and the waiting area was very inviting and comfortable. There’s a small bar inside as well as seating. The food was fantastic. The service was stellar, and they were busy while also being super attentive! The vibe inside is great, very inviting. There are also 80s and 90s toys all over the place (in an additive way, not a cluttered way) that you could play with! I’d definitely go back and definitely recommend.

I had the absolute pleasure of trying this new spot for breakfast, and I’m already counting down the days until I can go back. I ordered the veggie scrambler with a side of root veggie hash, gluten-free toast, and a blackberry mimosa and every bite was pure comfort and joy.

The veggie scrambler was packed with fresh, colorful ingredients. Perfectly cooked eggs topped with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers. It tasted just as amazing as it looked.

The root veggie hash was next level! crispy and golden on the outside, soft inside, and full of earthy, roasted flavor with a mix of sweet potatoes, broccoli, and other roasted goodness. I also really appreciated that they offer gluten-free toast it made my breakfast feel complete without compromise.

And that blackberry mimosa? Beautiful, bubbly, and the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The whole meal was perfection from start to finish.

Warm service, cozy atmosphere, and seriously amazing food. This place is doing everything right. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a feel-good, flavorful breakfast with great options for everyone!
