Eggbreak’s food and our server were fantastic. Unfortunately, a busser dropped a full tray next to our table—syrup, plates, and glass everywhere, splashing two of us. Staff apologized but didn’t offer any real compensation; only after we asked did we receive a single $20 gift card on a $150 bill, no cleaning offer. Accidents happen, but guest recovery matters. Hoping management revisits its policy so great servers aren’t let down by a weak response to mishaps.

Came late Sunday morning. There were six of us. There was a short line of people. Put our names in, got a beeper, and waited outside for about 15 minutes. While we were waiting, we were offered a couple of smaller tables, which would have split the group. We declined (but appreciated the offer).

Got seated, with menus and waters. The server took our drink orders, and those items came right away. I was surprised by the fresh-squeezed orange juice — nice touch.

The server was very pleasant, helpful, and efficient. It didn't take that long for all of us to get our orders. Everything was hot, flavorful, and good-sized portions. The pancakes were big and fluffy. The eggs were moist. My avocado toast was nicely made and tasted fresh. And the two poached eggs were medium — exactly how they were ordered.

The manager (or owner?) stopped by during the meal to ask if all was okay. It was.

Came in on a Tuesday morning, restaurant was busy but they still seated and served me much faster than expected! Lively atmosphere. Servers seemed to come by whenever I needed them and checked in with me to make sure I had everything i needed. I got the Buttermilk pancakes and the Orange-Strawberry juice. The juice was $4.50 but I can't stress enough how good and fresh it tastes! Absolutely delicious. My pancakes were very filling. My total came out to be $13.18 before tips for this meal! Some other things on the menu can be a little more pricey but I haven't had anything but the pancakes. Definitely would like to go here again!

The Eggbreak Cafe. I saw the name as I drove past and was curious as I was thinking about finding some food in the area. I read the reviews and that was enough to get me in.

The service was polite, never overbearing but not taking too long between checking in either.
The food was wonderful. You can tell that they actually made the food, not just heating something pre-made up.

I had the standard eggs Benedict with a side of corned beef hash and hashbrowns. The eggs were poached perfectly, the hollandaise sauce was delicious, the hashbrowns were perfectly crispy but not burnt, and the hash was the best I think that I have personally had from a restaurant.

They have a very nice, large menu. A great selection of favorites and their own twists on classics from breakfast to lunch.

The atmosphere was bright and charming. Smiles, the smell of good food, and a nice shift of colors that kept it feeling bright inside without being whitewashed or feeling too cold or uninviting.

When it comes to price vs. portion they are reasonable. Most of their menu sits in the $12-$14 range. This seems to be on par with most places these days. For portion vs. price, I would say you get a fair amount for what you pay for. You will not be left hungry. My meal was just over $21 after tax. That was 2 eggs Benedict and hashbrowns on one plate, a side of corned beef hash on another, and a cup of coffee. The coffee was $3, but they left the carafe at the table with you, so I would say that's worth it as well if you enjoy coffee as I do.

Overall, I would give The Eggbreak Cafe 4.5 out of 5 stars. The food and service were wonderful. If the prices were just a little cheaper, I would give it 5 stars.

I would recommend The Eggbreak Cafe to anyone looking to have a good, peaceful meal in a comfortable atmosphere.

Man, I had the cheese curd burger and it was dry, flavorless and lukewarm. The cheese curds on it were completely cold and there was definitely no aioli. For, I believe something like $13.5, it was terrible. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I can't bring myself to go back and spend that kind of money to try again with times being so tough right now and money being tight. This was our once a month going out to eat budget and I feel it was wasted, and I'm super disappointed.

There are a lot of loud people on a Sunday afternoon here. Ordered steak and eggs, my logic being that that's hard to get wrong. Heard a Catholic priest at one table talk about how much he despises another congregation, specifically that he hates the other churches foyer and priest... anyway, the steak was carelessly cooked. Somehow, it came out well done, but with no crispy edges and a big line of fat on one side, they could have easily trimmed it but did not. The breakfast potatoes looked and tasted like they came from a freezer and went to the deep fryer to die. Eggs were great came exactly how I ordered them, but the toast had that old butter taste. My lady ordered eggs Benedict with a side of hashbrowns, the eggs were okay but the hashbowns were crispy on top but mush beneath. As for the price point... a bit high for the quality. If Randy's was open on Sundays, I think this place would be out of business.

Mark this place as a favorite! This restaurant caters to everyone. GF/DF and those that can eat anything.
The owner Gani greeted us with a smile. Prior to us sitting down I saw him / heard him meticulously give instructions that the booth was A+ clean before we sat down. (Bonus!)
Our waitress was Vicki, she was wonderful, make sure to ask if she is onsite when you ask for a table. She made sure all my DF/GF needs were taken care of. A+ (#2)
There might be a small wait but WELL WORTH IT. (We were able to be seated quicker - table for 2).
My food… OUTSTANDING! And it came out of the kitchen pre-marked with a tooth pick for GF. I had a skillet and the GF pancakes as a side.
Support this business. Why?… bc when we were there I saw other support be kind to the elderly sitting and enjoying a meal and families with children were well taken care of.

What a GREAT cafe! Our server, Haliah, was the sweetest. Husband had the traditional eggs benedict with hashbrowns and said they were awesome. He really liked the thick cut of Canadian bacon on there. I had the breakfast tacos. The chorizo was a great addition instead of using straight breakfast sausage. Only thing was I wish there was more pickled onion on them. That was a super nice way to cut the savory aspect of the taco. There was plenty of space and the food came out fast. The only complaint I had is that I couldn't decide what to order. There were just so many choices to make. I ended up going with the Mexican skillet. The house made chorizo was bursting with flavor. The salsa that came with it had the right amount of heat and flavor.

I had a bite of the pancakes that were perfectly done. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside.

Next time, I am getting the bacon omlette. It was huge and loaded with delicious thick-cut bacon. Pretty sure you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Amazing restaurant. Went on a Sunday, which I assume is their busiest day. We were told the wait would be 15-20 minutes. I love that they give you a beeper and page you when the table is ready so we could wait in the car. We were seated within 15 minutes as quoted. The food was great, the prices were fair, portions were large, and you won't find better service anywhere. The food ALL seemed homemade, right down to the preserves offered with toast. Pancakes are lighter and fluffier than I've ever had. Even the toast is better (thicker cut bread and it wasn't doused in butter). My table was serviced by at least 3 people who made sure our glasses were full and our wants were met. As I watched the staff go back and forth, they were always scanning tables and faces to see if they could offer a refill or clear a plate. Kudos to the entire staff! We will be back!
UPDATE: I've been back several times since I posted my review. All I can say is this restaurant is as consistent as it is delicious. Best place in 100 miles for breakfast or lunch!

We have been wanting to try this place. It's a bit out of the way for us but the journey was well worth it! We were seated immediately, service was spot on. Great menu choices and I was especially happy to see Jones Farm products. My husband had the Meat Lovers skillet with hash browns and I had a bacon and cheese omelette with fruit. Our food was out to the table in no time. Coffee serves with carafe on the table, orange juice is fresh squeezed (machine visible in the dining area). We have been going to eggbreak cafe since they opened, probably every other week. On our last visit on Sunday, February 2nd, we arrived about two o'clock and from the time we arrived it seemed rushed, from our food order, to people cleaning, so they could get out of there, we were sitting in a booth by kitchen and the back of my seat was hit several times, with people cleaning, they were spraying tables and sweeping floors. Once again the food was great, but the atmosphere was definitely lacking. I think all the closing cleaning should wait until there are no customers or at least not clean in areas with customers. There were at least 4 groups of people including us. Don't know for sure but I didn't believe the boss was there.

This was the third exceptional restaurant we've found in our weekend in Eau Claire. The staff was friendly and fast and the whole place was hopping. The food was good, the service was great, very friendly. It was a very busy place. Little bit pricey, but it seems like everything is these days. My plate did have a chip. I did not like that. The waitress was super friendly.

6 of us ordered different things for breakfast. Everything was very good. There was a waiting line on a Sunday morning but it moved quickly. Food came out very fast.
