Went with a friend that we go to Fermentorium with ALL THE TIME, since the day they opened. Almost always, seems like all 9 years they have been opened, the same knowledgeable, kind girl has been at the bar. Very friendly, she was there again, but in the back. So, tending bar was the most rude young man we have ever seen! Only 4 people were at the bar, no one at the tables (that was odd, we remember the place always hopping in the past), and the service was TERRIBLE! Then, something happened we have never seen before. My friend showed me a video of Trump thanking police officers on their motorcycles, and the guy flew off the handle immediately, telling him to put it away or we would need to leave. When questioned why, he immediately threw us out! While waiting for my friend in the bathroom, he came from behind the bar, got in my face, and ordered me out NOW! I'm 68 years old, and in all my years, never saw anything as deplorable as that! I feel bad that we may not be welcomed back!

I love the Ferm! Location at 5 Corners in Cedarburg is easy to get to. Can bring in food or purchase food on site. They have a great selection of beer and non beer items. Even my kids like to come here after a game or for a quick snack. The Ferm has a great thing going so check them out.

My friends and I stopped in for a beer on a Saturday. The bartender was rude and super condescending when one of us asked about one of the beers. My group ordered 4 different beers. None of us liked what we got - and we frequent many local breweries. It smelled terrible inside and the bathrooms were disgusting.
Not Cool Guys.
I will not be back.

My husband and I used to frequent here ALL the time until we moved away 3 years ago. We were mug club members and part of the bags league and everything in 2019. Since we've been back it has gone downhill which breaks my heart. Soooo many people smoke outside, it's very dark inside, they got rid of the couches for lounging on and the two arcade games are gone. It just feels like a different (kind of trashier...) vibe now. I love the beer but I don't think we'll be back anymore.

1st time visit and was impressed! I was greeted immediately by friendly staff. The whole space is very spacious and a nice mix between an active brewery and a bar. I had a great conversation with Kristopher, the owner who gave me a short history of his business and brewing passion. I will be stopping by again soon to do some sampling of his beers.

If you're reading this, please stop bringing your running and screaming children into a brewery. That's completely unacceptable and you look like a horrible parent. Drinking copious amounts of high ABV beer and then driving your kids home is a great idea. Why would you have a little league baseball team come here? Again, keep your kids at home. This isn't a daycare or a jungle gym. People come here to relax not hear your kids screaming otherwise we'd all go to chuck E cheese. Have your mom social group meet up at your dirty house instead. The Fermentorium is a great brewery with a wide variety of beers. They have options for all types of beer drinkers, from light and dark beers to IPA’s. Amazing selection of microbrews. My favorites include Stouts and Porters and there were plenty of dark beers. IPAs also had a strong presence as well as a current Maibock. This brewery is a definite destination in Cedarburg and only minutes from the highway.

First time here. Nice decor. Very friendly staff. Great selection of craft beers. You can order different sizes of beers which is nice. A small food menu, mostly apps and pizzas. I came with our boys after an afternoon of skating. Not crowded but busy. I would definitely go here again!

I don’t eat hot dogs but the wings were good and the boy said it was one of the better dogs he’s had. Wisco pop available for the underage or non drinkers in your party. The bar is very willing to provide samples of the current variety of brew to help you find the one that’s right for you. You can see the still pots from the restaurant. They offer beer to go and have some nice merch too. This place isn’t fancy but it’s definitely good. The menu is limited but what they have is done well.

We threw a surprise 30th birthday party for my husband last evening at the Fermentorium and I cannot say enough wonderful things about how accommodating and great the staff were! The space was perfect for our group of 20+ and the food and drink were delicious! I would highly recommend this location for an event and we will definitely be returning! 09/09/19 Feel bad giving this reveiw, but if it was my establishment, reading reviews would be my top priority. First time visit with a few co-workers around 5 pm.

1. Girl bartender who couldn't give a friendly hi or smile when she was approached.

2. The website showed a variety of foods but when asked to see the menu the girl said we only serve Pizza on Monday. (Website was misleading)

3. I have a gluten free diet and had messaged beforehand if they had gluten free beer. I was messaged back with a yes. They offered three varieties which is great! I was given a bottle but had to ask for a glass. I would suggest a gluten free pizza on the menu also for your customers.

4. Facility looked pretty clean. The high table we sat at showed a few leftover crumbs. Table top had a big crack running through it.

5. My co-workers tried a few different beers, but all in all won't be back anytime soon.

6. Pretzels, snacks, fresh cheese curds,ect would have been an easy addition to offer your customers...so simple to do and wouldn't require a cook.

This place used to be a cool destination brewery, but something has gone horribly wrong. Whoever is currently brewing has no idea what they're doing, and all the beer tastes the same. Watered down and bland. Sugars aren't getting extracted in the mash. Total waste of time and money going here.

We had plans, and Wisconsin weather had its own plans. We stopped in today for the first time as part of my plans for my boyfriends birthday. We had a group of four, did a winery tour, had lunch near there, and then planned on visiting th Fermentorium for the first time. Not even 15 minutes in the lights started flickering and then the power went out. For anything after that point I have no judgement. That’s obviously stressful and no one plans for that. It’s before that point I was extremely disappointed. The atmosphere was very relaxed and super quiet. The bartender watched us walk in but didn’t say hi or welcome us at all. No one came to our table once. I had to ask for menus and even then I was told where I could go grab them myself instead of true bartender actually providing them to us. It definitely made us feel as if they could have cared less if they had our business or if we had a good time. We just paid cash for the 2 drinks we were served and left. It’d be 1 star but I’m going to assume it was just an off day.

I’m from WI but live out in Denver now. We have more breweries in the city of Denver/state of Colorado than most in the world. Fermentorium hands down beats all my favorite local breweries in Denver. I drive back here and bring back beer for my friends. Fermentorium is known amongst my group for sure!
