What an amazing restaurant it is! The food was incredibly tasty, with a delightful array of dishes that satisfied our cravings. The customer service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and prompt, making us feel truly welcomed. We had lunch here during our scenic road trip to the beautiful Apostle Islands, and the experience was truly memorable. Definitely coming back again to enjoy this gem of a place.

The Fish Shed is a breathe of fresh air. You would never guess they have only been open a short time. The local tap cider was delicious and so was the food. The staff banter was a vibe. I was there alone and was made to feel so welcome. One of the workers/owners came and sat down for a short chat. Love this place!

What a find! We had a fish roll and fish chowder, and both were amazing. If the fish was any fresher it would have still been swimming. And the preparation was amazing. Wow…just wow. The two guys that run the place obviously love cooking to make people happy. The place itself is tiny and certainly not fancy (it is spotless to be sure), but that’s part of the magic. The guys treat you like they’re cooking for their oldest friends. Nice beer selection too. If you love fish, stop in, and bring someone you love.

The place was about to close (early for a function) they were cleaning up but they happily still served us even though the grills were already off. They did not rush us and the food was great! And the beer was ice cold!

The value of food customer service is met. The sandwich was different than in used to but worth every bite. The crunch of the slaw with the pulled pork. A great combo on a bun. The red beans and rice doesnt hsve the kick ik used to but still packs a flavorful punch.
Couple all this with friendly staff that remembers your name. Wnjoy

My wife and I both felt the tacos were blah..they were cold when we got them. We have a 1 year old and they had nothing really for her to eat. I believe it has potential but was quite disappointed. It was quite expensive for what we got.

Super liebes Lokal mit sehr gutem Essen und einer guten Auswahl an Craftbier. Das Lokal ist liebevoll eingerichtet und man fühlt soch sofort wohl. Wir hatten leider schöechtes Wetter, aber man kann auch Innen in begrenzter Zahl nett sitzen. Draußen wäre es bei Schönwetter natürlich schöner mit nettem Ausblick

We had the fish chowder, fish tacos and fish sandwich. Nice selection of beers on tap. The food came quick. The tacos were delicious but the fish was cold, not sure if that was on purpose but it was odd. The sandwich was delicious and the chowder was amazing. Only draw back was multiple bones in the chowder. Might have been a one off experience but that’s how ours went. We will definitely give it another shot!

Great outside seating! Had the whitefish sandwich it was really good! My friend got the last of the chowder and I really wanted to try it but she said it was really good. They served our really big group very well!
However, we were disappointed with the amount of food we got for the price we paid.

Absolutely amazing. We had fish bowls and they were incredibly incredible 😍. The fish was super fresh and perfectly cooked. All their utensils, cups and containers are either reusable or compostable, way to go. Setting and staff are superb as well.

Such a cool place. Renovated an old building right near the Corny harbor and wayside/beach. Super chill place with very friendly staff. The owner came out and chatted for more than a few minutes. It is right by the fish market, so the whitefish is usually caught the same day. And so, my whitefish sandwhich (I think they call it the Shedwhich) was AMAZING!!

We are so lucky to have stumbled on this place in this tiny town during our vacation. They are so welcoming and serve delicious food. Highly recommend the chowda! Bought a cup and decided to go back and get a bowl. They also have live music and the locals that come in are so friendly. A welcome retreat from our normal daily life.

Holy cow so good. Highly recommend. Spotted this super cute area while I was passing through at the end of June. Among the local shops is this restaurant. Had the Corny dog. I absolutely love that they locally source their meat, sauces, relishes and such. If I lived closer I'd be coming up here on the regular to try everything. Delicious. Super friendly staff. They even let me know about a little waterfall area not too far away that I added to my journey. Worth the visit!!!

The Fish Tacos were absolutely Devine. The “Lobster Roll” (Burbot Roll) was simply lovely…and YES, it did indeed taste like lobster, a taste I know well from many years living in Bar Harbor, Maine. The beer was a brand I’d never heard of, but it was an excellent Lager. The service was very accommodating.

What a cool find! The food was amazing. We got the fish sandwich and the fish tacos. They are in the same marina as the fishery, so it is the freshest whitefish in the Apostle Islands. A nice beach in the same parking area, and very close to some major cave view trails. This is a Must Do on your Northern Adventure. They have a great selection of local craft brews and ciders to go with the fantastic food. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. They are proud of the area and can give you great recommendations if you need to change plans with the weather, or you just want to get the local insight. Classic beach shack vibes.
