This is a quaint place with a cool English
eatery vibe.Our waitresses was attentive and nice. I had the soup of the day as a starter, it was over salted.The Thai lettuce wrap was also salty. The beef was slightly better than ground taco meat flavored with powdered garlic seasoning. The pear blue cheese salad was passable.Our entree was the steak and ale pie with French fries.The peas were served on the plate , not in the pie. Why? With a $26 price tag I was expecting a much larger and more flavorful meal. This dish had 6 small cubes of meat with none larger than 3/4". There is no way that dish is worth $26. Finally, the bill came and... you guessed it, a 3-1/2% credit card usage fee will be added for using a credit card. These add on fees really get to me,but that's another topic.
My overall rating is a 3 with most of the points for service, and good priced cocktails.

My Goodness! Too many "stupendous" words come to mind for staff "Emma, CAT!!!" the atmosphere was welcoming
and comfortable! Food from around the globe, we sampled four. Our taste buds and stomachs were quite happy!
Staff walking past all smiling, like a 'happy to see you!' Once again are waitress CAT for Catherine the great, was really a delight 😊. Smart, helpful and "sweet"(according to one at our table)

Great dinner joint in Elkhart Lake! Easy walk or drive from The Osthoff resort, fun old English atmosphere. Apparently the owner is from England and the recipes are original family favorites. Food was good and the service was very friendly! Definitely make sure to make this a stop on your up-north vacation.

A fantastic place on the Elkhart lake food scene. The basement bar was charming and aesthetic, like a pub from England. The drinks were well crafted and delicious. Did not have the opportunity to sample the cuisine yet but the menu looks quite appetizing.

Garbage badly cooked and badly served

We got indigestion half way into or dinner. The tuna fajitas didn't have any tuna, just a lot of siracha squirted over fried wantons. The salmon dinner was a small strip that was half skin and fat and horribly overcooked. The schnitzel was a very dark brown stone. The meat itself was all of about 1/4 inch thick and so overcooked I couldn't cut through the breading. We wondered what kind of idiot would let something that looked this bad to leave the kitchen. Each plate had 6 tiny little, toothpick like, green beans that were virtually raw and tasteless.

We wanted to send this garbage back but we didn't see our waitress again until she came back over 30 minutes after our food was served to give us the check, which she screwed up.

Maybe the local yokels think this place is good because the menu makes everything sound very international. It's garbage, badly cooked, and badly served.

To be honest, we we a little leery on coming here after seeing the small menu, however we were very impressed! Our table shared the Ahi Tuna Nachos, most of us got the soup of the day which was a creamy mushroom soup, and 4/5 of us got the tenderloin. Every single item was out of this world delicious. Very glad we stopped and hope to be back!

We happened to be visiting Elkhart Lake on St. Patrick's Day and tried The Full Monty for dinner after walking by earlier in the afternoon. This restaurant is a gem.

The Colcannon Soup was exceptionally comforting—chunky, loaded with leek, and the potatoes were cut small and tender. The Thai noodle dish was richer with peanut butter than a typical Pad Thai, but it was surprisingly served with prik nam pla, which balanced the sauce out perfectly. The steak pie and sticky toffee pudding were also great (though I suggest a small plate instead of a ramekin for the pudding, to make it a bit easier to scrape off the plate at the end, which is practically required).

The building is unique too. Delicious food and absolutely wonderful dinner.

The Ahi Tuna Nachos will change your life. My husband got the lamb shank special, I'm not a pork fan and oh my gosh so tender and good. I had the steak and ale pie - soo cozy and yummy. Bartender made great martinis - both upstairs for dinner and in lower level speak easy area. Highly recommend !

I used to live in Elkhart and I've been to the owners coffee shop which was always my favorite and even turned my parents on to it. I'm visiting and I'm so excited to discover they now have a restaurant too! Love the atmosphere, the downstairs speakeasy is so cool (Especially with the TARDIS!!!). The drinks, the food, the service, everything was top notch. Can't wait to go back!

I can’t believe this place only has 36 reviews. It’s by far the best restaurant we had for our trip. We went during the Christmas season and it’s so cozy, charming, and quaint. Seriously a cute little world. Our young server was so kind. The food was phenomenal- the mushroom soup was so flavorful and had enough mushrooms in it- I want to make it at home. My schnitzel was great, my husband got the steak which was so delicious and tender. Cheese curds are also special and square hah. We want to go back next Christmas.

It was our first time here & it most certainly won't be our last. There were 11 of us celebrating 1 friend leaving the country and another friends return. Our server waited on all of us and was nothing short of phenomenal. Our orders were correct, hot and as ordered. It was quite an experience. The bar & bartender (with the British accent) downstairs properly prepared us for the continued excellent service upstairs. What a great place!

I had an amazing experience ordering takeout from The Full Monty in Elkhart Lake! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. I ordered three different dishes, and each one was unique, featuring a variety of wonderful spices that brought out the best in each meal. The Chicken Tikka Masala was absolutely fantastic—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced! I haven't tried the all the dishes yet, but if they are anything like the Tikka Masala, I know they will be great. I'm already impressed and can't wait to return for more. This restaurant offers something different and special in Elkhart Lake, and I highly recommend it!

Very cool place. Seating was quick for a Sunday on a race weekend without reservations. The drinks are good & affordable (only $10 for a good martini?!), the food was quick & very good. The ahi tuna nachos were great, the curry options were mild but flavorful & the desserts were the right size to not be too much.
The Underground is small & quaint. Drinks were quick, and it was nice & dark.
Parking was easy, a small lot in the back or street parking.

Excellent Curry! Retired to the downstairs bar for a couple more drinks.

Checked in said it it would be a 15 minute wait. We waited over 45 minutes went back to check on our wait time said it would be shortly.. another 35 minutes past still not seated. We left. Not impressed .

First attempt, we were told 30 min wait, after 30 min, were told they couldn’t actually seat us. We had two small children with us. Gave them a second chance. Second time sat outside in overgrown lawn on a cheap picnic table and charged $25 for a small shared plate. Chicken was chewy, but flavors were good. Kids buttered noodles were cold. Great idea for Elkhart, but many better restaurant choices. :(
