I used to frequent this place, at least once a week being I live a few blocks away. Food was much better before the fire. The first month or two after being re-opened, I expected some hiccups and kept coming back. The new kitchen staff, with the exception of Calvin, just don't seem to be too experienced. From overcooked burgers to almost completely rare burgers, you never know what you're gonna get. The "burger of the week" seems to have lost the creativity they once had. Also, why doesn't your flat top grill get cleaned DAILY??? I've been in right when the place opened and the stainless steel flat top is black. Those things need to be cleaned every single day, it's not a Blackstone that needs a seasoning layer. As for now, I'm unfortunately taking my burger needs elsewhere. Maybe I'll give it another shot 6+ months from now. I've maybe eaten 3 or 4 good burgers out of probably 20 since they re-opened. Sad to see such a great place go so far down hill. No wonder the parking lot is almost always empty, except on bingo night. Lol

Everything about this place is 10 stars. When I first walked in the guy behind the bar said "we have the best burger in Kenosha ". I laughed thinking let me be the judge of that buddy. Turns out he was absolutely right. This is by far the best burger in Kenosha and possibly all of Wisconsin. Will definitely return here soon..

Great food and absolutely amazing service from Melissa B the Bartender/Waitress. This was our 1st time and when I asked if I could substitute next time from one of the predesigned burgers from pork belly to bacon as my pork belly was a bit fatty. She apologize for that and offered to take off the cost for the pork belly. I told her it wasn’t necessary because pork belly can often be fatty, but I really appreciated the offer and her willingness to try to make a happy customer, even if it wasn’t necessary. That gesture will have me coming back.

The rest of the burger was great, so was my son’s. The been was cold and it had a laid back atmosphere. Love it. New favorite burger joint.

The kitchen manager needs to get off his high horse and listen to his staff and make actual good burgers of the week instead of recycling old ones and just doing ham and cheese stuffed burgers every week. There's only one good cook that seasons food correctly. The bartenders are great. They all need to be paid more. The garage really isn't what it used to be and it's sad to see what it's become.

First time eating at The Garage. The burgers are excellent! The Hog was very tasty. A burger stuffed with jalapeño peppers & bacon - topped with, pepper-jack cheese, pork belly, pork rinds & barbecue sauce. Our server/ bartender Lena was wonderful. It was our first time there. Garage is a really fun place to go whether it's to socialize at the bar or just to eat. The atmosphere is very inviting and has a really cool vibe. The menu is fun to use, the food is excellent, and the staff is very attentive and took good care of us. I have to also mention that the restaurant is very clean and there is plenty of off road parking in a parking lot. I highly recommend Garage to my friends and family for a great experience!

Went to browse lake Geneva and Kenosha and found this cool burger joint. Let me start off with the burgers were awesome!! I got the carburetor burger and it was delicious and filling had ravioli, mozzarella inside the burger!! I will say it is a little bit higher priced but it’s not bad for the portion of the burger and it being local I don’t mind. Keep in mind there’s not many tables so get there a decent time. The staff was awesome and had great connections with a lot of guests from what we noticed. Bathrooms were clean, Im not sure if the cold water worked because it still felt hot when I turned the hot water off. Overall I would come again cool vibe, thanks guys!

This place truly exceeded my expectations. At first glance, I anticipated an average experience, but The Garage proved to be anything but. The food was fantastic—my wife and I both created different burgers that were outstanding. They were grilled to perfection, juicy, and charred just right. The fries were sublime, cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The beer selection was excellent, served ice-cold, and the cocktails were a delightful surprise. Despite being busy, the bartender managed everything superbly and even took time to chat with us. We’re definitely planning to return!

This used to be my go too place for a good burger. The price was a little higher but the food quality more then made up for it. We'll I came in to try it out for the first time since the fire there and let just say I wasn't happy. The burger was just Nasty! Flavor was bland and pulled pork had no flavor. And it's like they raised the prices because it cost over $60 for 2 people to have 2 burgers, sodas and a appetizer. Sorry to say I won't recommend anyone here any longer.

Took 50 mins on a Monday night to get my order. Which unfortunately was wrong. They stuffed my burger with pickles which is nasty if you don't like them. Ordered med rear and burger was beat over done. The bartender said she entered it correctly. Also absolutely no flavor at all. The bartender was great about it. The food was delicious the burgers are unique with great flavors I had the hog. The combo apperizer was awesome fried pickle spears were crispy, and the gouda bites were on another level. This review will not be completly negative. The staff were great. The food was just ok. We did like the idea of the menu marking down what you actually wanted on the burger along with what sides you wanted.
When our order arrived my wife had hair in the ranch dip along with FF. That didn't set well with her . Naturally the staff corrected the problem without issue. We did notice the grill staff do not wear hairnet.
For the pricing for 3 people that ordered burgers and a side with 4 mixed drinks 1 soda was a bit over $100. 00 not including a tip. Which we did do.
In our opinion we tried it . But not satisfied.

Delicious burger! We tried it out for the first time the night they reopened (new Kenoshan here). We had a mishap with our order not being rang in or cancelled, and it wasn’t realized until we had to run out the door for a prior engagement, however the manager (I think?) offered us a complimentary meal on our next visit. Our plans ended early so we headed back that same night to give it a go. The highly recommended burger did not disappoint! We were impressed with how well they handled the large crowds and have been back a couple times since our original visit. Good food and great customer service will always have us coming back!

Went here tonight for some low key burgers and drinks was not disappointed at all. Burger was well cooked. I was hesitant about the "stuffed burger" thing > don't be! It worked really well. My partner and I each made our own. Mine was put together and simple, hers was a large (messy) concoction. Both were fantastic. Low key bar. Small place. Not a huge sign from outside. Words cannot describe how the people of Kenosha felt when they lost the Garage. Not until the vacuum of disbelief was filled with the horror of comprehension did any of us realize how much we identified ourselves, even apart from personal friendship, with the Garage — this intellectual, vigorous bar and grill — and it would have been that if it were eighty years old — expressing the very essence of the youthfulness of our city. It seems of little consequence now that there were taste differences, or objections to this or that brew or topping, though as far as I am concerned there was a very large measure of agreement. What matters is that feeling of loss — that personal sense of emptiness — that all people of Kenosha feel because the Garage was cut off in the prime it's life. As a city, we have lost a bar and grill who understood the institution of the good beer and burgers, gloried in its overwhelming responsibilities, and discharged it's duties with dash and joy, which were an inspiration to the youth of our city.

This place is pretty neat. Reading the reviews, I expected a rough dive place. I wouldn't say that it isn't that, but it's much more approachable to someone who isn't in to those types of places.
The waitress/bartender was helpful and polite, and the burgers were great!

They have standard burgers to choose from, custom burgers, fries, etc.. The ordering is great once you are made aware of the process. You are given a menu, you check off what you want and how you want it. Super customizable, and you can even have it done in a way that isn't listed. No stress.

This place isn't huge, but it's really plenty for the amount of parking. And the parking lot situation is much better than expected. Easy to maneuver, and easy to get into/out of. I'd absolutely stop by here again if I'm ever in town.
