My husband ordered delivery for the first time, the pizza was tasty. Would have preferred a thicker crust option. 2 sides of fries and the ranch was missing… we love our fries with ranch. They were also soggy upon arrival. He called and they apologized, which, fine, sometimes mistakes happen but there was no resolution offered. I mean, little details like that matter. Especially when you’re paying over $50. So that was the first and last time for us locals.

We were in town for a family trip to the wilderness and we wanted to try a new place. And boy was this pizza a hit. We got the BBQ chicken pizza and a pepperoni pizza. That BBQ chicken was delicious. The chicken tasted like it had been smoked and it was shredded. The pepperoni pizza was also very good. The crust also had a good crunch to it! We will be back when we take another trip to the dells!

The atmosphere was unbeatable. Table with a lake view. Very quiet and peaceful. Off the beaten path. Very friendly ducks were highly entertaining for my kids.

We ordered a pizza at 6:09. It said it would arrive at 7:14 at the latest. The ordered never showed up. We went to get the order at 7:30. It took another 30 minutes. We couldn’t find anyone in the restaurant that actually worked there. Several patrons were very rude to us. We wanted to cancel our almost $70 order but they said they could give us a free drink instead. We finally got the food. It was not good. The crust was not homemade. Terrible experience. Sad we spent the money on it and everyone was so rude to us!

The kids corn dog bites n fries weren't very good. Granddaughter loves corn dogs. These were made in homemade batter, she wouldn't eat the inside or outside of them. She did eat the fries, however, we (the adult vegetarians) could not. They cook them in the same grease as the fish 👎🤮.

What a GREAT Wisconsin take on the Cuban sandwich. From Detroit, I’ve had Cuban sandwiches from Miami, The Keys, Caribbean, and South America, your variation was in my top 4. Pulled pork and shaved ham that you can only get locally. Absolutely delicious.
BTW, my son got a pep pizza and said it was a 10 out of 10.
The delivery driver, Aubrey, was very courteous and clever in calling ahead to ask which door would be the fastest to get to the room. The food was still hot.

We were there on 2/7/25 night. We came in with a group of 10 of us planning to hang out. There were roughly another 6 people by the bar. Slow night? We got our drinks and the bartender blasted the music. Fun time! Until we asked him to please lower the volume the speaker was on our face. Our group on one side, the rest of the patrons were on opposite side of the long basement. He was not happy. He didn’t want us to have any say on the music and defended that the music would stay blasting. He was judgy and proud on his stance and didn’t want to accommodate at all. We explained we loved the music but we just didn’t want to leave with a headache. We wanted hang out and enjoy the night. The volume was more important so we simply said we will just take our group and spend our money somewhere else. Adjust your priorities, or not. Customer experience was definitely not the focus of tonight.

We chose this place for pizza based upon other reviews. We were so happy with our choice as this one had excellent pizza! Our kids had pepperoni and my husband and I shared the chicken cordon bleu and White Owl pizza. All the pizzas were delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

If you go on a rainy night like we did, you can access the restaurant through the upstairs bar and can avoid walking down the path like we did (heavy downpour at that time and we walked through a river).

Green Owl is a cool little hole that seems like it would be hard to find. We had some locals clue us in. Pizza is good. The space is decent size but not typically full, so it is good for groups. Atmosphere is wonderful !!! We sat outside right by the lake. It was NOT busy at all. There were 4 tables total (including us). Took 1 hour 30 mins from the time we sat until we got our pizza. We did not see our waiter for 50 min after ordering, I walked inside and there were 3 people in the restaurant the waiter looked at me and said “oh sorry, I can see it is ready. I will be out”. I went back to the the table and in 9 min he came out with our pizza. No plates, napkins or silverware. We must have looked confused because he asked us if we needed anything, and we said, plates, napkins and pepper. He said ok and walked away. We sat for another 8 min. I finally walked back inside. No staff were anywhere and there were 3 people in the inside sitting. The waiter came around the corner and said oh is something wrong. I said yes we are still waiting for plates etc. he said ok and went behind the bar and started cleaning water pitchers. I walked into the kitchen and took plates. 5 min later he came out with napkins, silverware and water. He said he was sorry for the wait but he was very busy with online orders. The pizza was ok. It was Luke warm, which made us think it had sat under a heat lamp for a while.

We loved the Green Owl in its previous location. But don’t think we will be back and won’t recommend to anyone.

We arrived shortly after 7 on a Sunday night. We first sat upstairs not realizing that wasn't where we wanted to be. They transferred our tickets, as all we had was drinks, and we headed downstairs to The Green Owl. We were the only ones downstairs. We had a table of 12. The food came out in shifts. My son was completely done with his meal before half of us were served. Three of us ordered pizza and my pizza came out last at 8:55. By the time I got my pizza, the other 11 people were completely done eating. The server seemed to not be on top of things. Would get drink refills and not remember who they went to. Have good to the wrong people, not remembering who had what. Overall not a great experience :(

I called at 920pm to get a delivery order and was told by the guy answering the phone they didn't deliver after 10pm. When I informed him it was in fact 9:20pm he told me his watch was wrong??? Ok so no biggie I made the order and then got told that the delivery service only applies to anyone within a 3 mile radius and since I was at a motel 3.6 miles away they could not deliver. Ok so I will pick it up then the guy said it was a $25 minimum order so I added cheese sticks to make it over $25. As if that wasn't enough then he told me that what was on Google for the address was incorrect to go to something else and walk around to find it from there. I am from of state and have no idea where to go and I couldn't get an address from he guy on the phone I just told him to cancel the order. It was obvious this place didn't want to sell pizza or at least the guy on the phone didn't want to so after I said to just cancel the order he simply hung up me. Obviously I wanted pizza more than this guy wanted to do anything. So I went thru all the excuses and then got hung up on. I hope anyone from this area has other pizza options otherwise please get the cheapest frozen box pizza from the worst grocery store. It will be much better than the service from these people! I feel sorry for the locals on this place!

Used to be our go-to pizza when we visited The Dells. Tonight I called and was told they use door dash or uber eats now for delivery. So, at 9:20 I ordered a cheese pizza and a couple orders of their homemade fries on uber eats (according to google maps our hotel is 10 minutes away). Our order did not arrive UNTIL 11:00 (almost 2 hours later). Uber eats kept mentioning they were waiting for our order to be made. When the food arrived it was cold and inedible. Fries soggy and pizza completely cold. Threw it away. Super bummed. Will not order again.

Secondarily I mentioned the above superior establishments because the price point is the same.
Thirdly my bill was not $120 and I tipped over 25% which IS low for my usual tip.
Fourth the lovely couple is my daughter and son-in-law.
Fifth, you advertise as a craft whiskey bar and can't make a Manhattan, which should be chilled and served like a martini or on a large piece of ice not on rocks.

First, don't go to Green Owl if it's snowy or its snowed in the last 3 weeks. Its underneath Ravina Bay restaurant. DOWN a driveway and dark . They put little effort into clearing the ice. I walked where they alledgedly had cleared the path. But not completely cleared. I slipped and fell on my back and head. Pizza I ordered was barely cooked. It was nothing special. After I told the woman I fell, she offered little sympathy. I won't make this mistake again. It wasn't worth the pain.

We ordered the Green Owl cheese burger, Cuban sandwich, the turkey bacon melt, artichoke dip and Buffalo wings. When the food was delivered it was not good. On the turkey bacon melt they didn’t put any bacon or ranch on it. They said they called me and told me they ran out of ranch so they decided to give me a new sandwich ??? So I ask to switch my sandwich to the turkey panini and the gal I talked to was very kind and let me. When I got my new order delivered, my panini was served on a hamburger bun and the fries had rock salt on them. The turkey on my “panini” had strips of what I can only think is turkey skin. The cheese burger was served on rock hard bread instead of a bun (like it says on the menu) and the burger was burnt. The Cuban sandwich was served on rock hard bread as well. My husband and daughter had to switch it with bread we had here. The wings were small and very dry. I am very disappointed. The only thing that was good about this order was the artichoke dip.

The green owl catered our wedding a few weeks ago, and I can't say enough positive things about them! The food was amazing, as always. We have ordered from there several times before and are never disappointed. The amount of food they provided was VERY generous for the number of people attending the wedding, so we had a lot of delicious leftovers to enjoy and share with our bridal party. All our guests express how great the food was and some meat eaters couldn't tell the difference! The Green Owl provided us with warming trays at no extra cost, and were overall just great to work with. I would absolutely recommend them for a dinner out or for catering an event!

Never ordered from this place. Called for delivery the woman on the other end said 40.00 minimum order charge. So just to let you know one single person has to order 2 to 3 pizzas in order to get delivery. Lost my business forever that they never got.

Delivery was on time and the driver was pleasant. We asked for cheese curds, we got cheese bread. We asked for nachos, we got them but the guacamole cup was almost empty and they just looked... sad. We were very disappointed. I like to try and give the benefit of the doubt, as it was later in the night and it seemed busy in the background of the call.

Some of the best food in the area!! It's fresh and has a different, modern take. Definitely will be coming back to try more. Friendly staff too. It was a bit of a wait for the food but it was worth it! The owl chips and owl fries were both delicious, go support this restaurant!!

Arrived at 10pm on a Saturday night and ordered the pizza and wings special they pushed. We were 3 of exactly 7 people there. Took 30 minutes to get each round of drinks and 54 minutes for our pizza to arrive. Pizza arrived with the wrong toppings and the wings didn’t arrive at all.

My girlfriend and I stopped on a Saturday night and at first glance, I would've given this place maybe 2 stars. It definitely seemed run down and a little sketchy. The bartender wasn't bad, but even with it being a slow night, they could've used another one. When the bartender would go into the back, the few other patrons that should've been cut off a long time ago acted liked they owned the place and did everything from grab things from behind the bar, and even go into the back room. The mens bathroom door was broken, the stall didn't even have a door. The drinks were good, but nothing too special.

But then our food came, and we were honestly blown away. It's the only thing that saved this place. The spinich artichoke dip was the best I think I had ever had, and the pizza was nearly perfect. Whoever was cooking definitely cared about what he was putting out.

Maybe the atmosphere of this place is better in the summer, but for now, I say just order takeout and maybe order a drink or two while you wait.

The food is absolutely HORRIBLE. We spent $80 on food and not one person out of the 7 ppl likesd their food. Fries we so soggy and full of grease and looked green. Cheese curds were hard and dry. My salad was ALL LETTUCE hardley any toppings. Oh and they forgot our kids meal. Which is prolly a good thing. That prolly would have sucked too. Extremely disappointed.. After reading the reviews on this place, we were pretty excited. Our food was delivered cold and there was barely any flavor in the food. And we got food..

Terrible place to eat,hangout, or order take out. I had to wait 50 minutes for a 10" cheese pizza and when I went to pick it up, they guy bartenders were doing nothing besides talking to friends in the bar and the pizza wasn't even cooking yet.

Myself,my wife and 2 kids ate here. We ordered the biggest pizza they had. It was so good we ordered another one and ate that one too. We were there for lunch and no one was really there so the bar tender was experimenting with drinks and she gave us some for free. This is the best pizza place in the Dells and one of the best I've ever had. I live in Chicago so that's saying a lot. My 7 year old can't wait to go back in August!

Every time we come into town we go here for pizza. We were here to visit again. Went to Green Owl today for pizza. Walked out extremely angry. Absolutely no service and she still charges for our drinks. My husband actually filled his own beer glass. This tradition is now done. We will not be back

My group and I decided to order from here because it was close, convenient, and the original place we wanted to try was closed. So we figured why not. We got two 14” pizzas, the cheesy bread, and the mushroom crostini's.

We’re all also in the service industry, so we tipped 20%. After total, tax and gratuity our total ended up being $70. We were like wow, that’s kinda crazy expensive for two pizzas... but oh well.

There was no host to greet us so we had to ask the bartender for our food upon arrival. She was very kind, but the place was sort of a Hole in the wall type bar setting.

We got our food and went back to our hotel room and were pretty disappointed with our order. The pizzas were small and burnt. The cheesy bread was basically just a cheese pizza cut into squares. And the mushroom crostini was flavorless. Plus we only got 3 pieces which was also very disappointing.

It was edible and wasn’t the worst thing ever but save your money and go to dominos 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wish I could give it 0 stars. Delivery was late, food arrived room temperature. Fries were soggy, pizza was thin and tasteless, and Mac and cheese was like they had a box of Kraft and served it to us.
Extremely disappointed. No idea how everyone’s saying that it’s the best pizza in the dells, should’ve just gotten pizza from a chain restaurant instead.
