The food here is amazing. The drinks also were great, I had a botanical tea but there were many other options for wine and beers. The special was a crab stack, and fresh wonton chips- it had avocado, mango, fresh red peppers, microgreens, and red onion on top of yummy crab meat. It was absolutely amazing to eat with the fresh wonton chips.
We also tried the fresh pasta they make in house. It has a yummy creamy wine sauce, and we added Sun-dried tomatoes, mushroom and spinach to it.

Ordered to go for lunch and got the wild mushroom risotto. I’ve had it before once or twice and it was good, but it was a little al dente when I’d had it before so I had expected it would be that way. Today, the flavor of the risotto was good, but it’s super underdone. Every bite was starchy, dry, and grainy. It’s a shame because I know it would be really good, but the rice is so dry I can’t eat it and I’m recovering from a surgery so I can’t go back and get a new one. Would love to try again, but the dish needs to be consistent.

The reception was unfriendly.
And the tuna was inedible because it was super salty.
We wanted to ask for more bread because there was only one small slice per person, and it cost $3!
We left without dessert because we were so disappointed.
$36 wasted.
Go elsewhere; there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.

I ate at The Grün Hexe Kitchen and Catering yesterday and had the mushroom risotto which was absolutely perfect creamy rich and full of deep earthy flavors without being overpowering and the texture was spot on I originally couldn't decide between the risotto and the goat cheese polenta so I went with the risotto first just to see how good the restaurant would be and it did not disappoint which is why I had to come back today to try the polenta and I am so glad I did because it was amazing velvety smooth with just the right amount of tangy goat cheese making every bite melt in my mouth and then I had the elderberry hibiscus lemonade which was ridiculously good so refreshing and balanced with a perfect blend of floral and fruity notes and the ambiance of the restaurant made the whole experience even better warm inviting and cozy while still feeling stylish and unique. So if you are in West Bend WI and want thoughtfully crafted delicious food you need to check out The Grün Hexe highly recommended five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A friend introduced me to this hidden gem. Off the beaten path, but well worth seeking out. The bright, welcoming space is not large but there is plenty of seating. Friendly staff. Great selection of menu items. I had the wild mushroom panini and the quinoa/edamame/peanut salad, which was delicious!

I have been there several times now with my dad and my brother and I've gotten take out several times as well. The food is absolutely outstanding. Everything is made from scratch and I've never had anything I haven't downright loved. The wait staff is always very courteous and I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The drunken mussels are my favorite appetizer and the lemon garlic pasta is my favorite entree. Her desserts are to die for as well. Everything there is just awesome tho.

I would say this is a decent place to go for lunch, if you are not gluten free. The homemade pasta was a hit with my spouse. And the atmosphere is pleasant and clean. I ordered a gluten free sandwich and what I got would not be considered edible. The bread they used fell apart in my hands like sand and was freezing cold and not toasted. The salad tasted fresh and coffee drinks were nice. I was disappointed in my sandwich that I paid nearly $20 for and I ended up leaving it all untouched on my plate. I feel like a place that offers local could come up with some resource for local sourdough or gluten free bread or gluten friendly wraps using lettuce at the very least. This was absolutely a junk food freezer bread that was not worthy of presenting to a customer.

We had the burrata appetizer, Roasted Beet Salad (add chicken), Roast beef Panini with side of Tuscan Sausage Kale Soup. All of which exceeded our expectations for taste and freshness.

Best choice for dining for dining I've made in a long time.

Cool vibes with some kitchy items on display. The owl lamp looked like same one we got as a hideous wedding gift many years ago. The menu offered a number of unique options which made our selections difficult. I settled on the Tuscan Sausage soup which was savory, as was the Mediterranean Chop Salad. My wife had the fresh made Salmon Patty Sandwich which also was very tasty. A sturdier bun would have made it bit better. We shared a slice of Peantbutter Pie which was fluffy and delicious. The service was super friendly and fast too! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good casual dining experience with menu options you don't see everywhere. .

I love this place! Came here for dinner for the first time on a Tuesday early evening. The decor is very inviting and charming. The service was great and the food was terrific. Had the green citrus iced tea which was so good fresh brewed. My sister and I shared the bruschetta and it was so tasty and delicious. We both got a bowl of mushroom risotto and it was very good and came with a perfect piece of bread with butter. I can't wait to go back!

Everything about my experience here was *chef kiss* The decor, the vibe, the people, and the FOOD! We ordered so much. Started with goat cheese bruschetta and the mussels. I ordered the creamy pesto pasta with shrimp and my friend ordered the lemon garlic pasta with shrimp. For dessert, we had a honey lavender crème brûlée and the kuchen.
