The gyro deluxe was ok. However the beef kabob had chunks of meat that were cut way too thick for a sandwich. Plus, the beef was tough, chewy and chocked full of sinew. I agree with others, Gyro Stand is not as good as its former tenant Gyro27. Its menu doesn't have as many Greek items. The staff had no idea what moussaka or spanakopita were. I brought baklava home and will try it later.

Formerly “Gyro 27” Now… Total garbage. Where do I begin. Gyro meat different, no flavor, with half the portion size. Fries used to be great. Now tastes like frozen out of bag cheap fries. Our family favorite was the rice pilaf with lamb sauce. They gave us sticky rice with some crap sauce served in a plastic basket with paper insert. What, no paper plates? Oh and they refused to give a glass of water until I pointed out a sign on wall that said they will give you one if you ask. What a bummer. I will never go again. New owner wrecked this place.

Walked in and there were hardly any lights on, no gyro meat on the rotisserie machine. Asked if they were open and the lady said yeah but was talking to someone on the phone at the same time. We asked why there was no fresh meat and she whispered something under her breath. The grade A level paper on their door says as of 2019 on the back. That was 6 years ago. Wasn’t brave enough to try their food so I walked out immediately.

Ordered a few gyro platters and was pleasantly surprised when told soft drinks are included with each one... got home and opened everything up and came to the sad, baffling realization that there is NO feta cheese, NO kalamata olives, and NO peppers. ...aren't these items pretty much essential staples in a gyro meal? Despite the meat and bread being above par, without the feta my gyro was quite underwhelming. These may seem like small things, which I guess they are... but absolutely essential to a good gyro. Very lackadaisical attitude toward service hours. I expect that if a restaurant opens at 11am, that food will be to be served at 11am.
I went there to get lunch to go. One day I sat waiting for them to open until 11:15. No one ever showed up to even open. The next day they started drifting in at 11:10 & 11:15 & told food would be ready in 30 minutes.
I will NEVER go to this haphazard place again. Obviously they have NO respect for customer's time.

It's never too busy or loud here, so we always dine in. We used to go here exclusively, but ever since their MENU CHANGED, we have been looking for a better gyro place :((( You used to be able to get a gyro plate with an extra pita, and that would be more than enough to feed 2 people. And that used to come with all toppings and seasoned fries. It was much more flavorful than it is now. This makes us really sad, but we do still go here from time to time for the good memories. ♡

Ive ordered many times from here for delivery an am always extremely happy with my food 5 stars. This last time not so much. My lamb meat was hard and crunchy on the ends, the tomatoes were soggy and nasty had to take those off, my onion rings were soggy and dark like they were pre cooked and then microwaved, the portion was smaller than normal.Because of my past expierence with my food i gave 3 stars. Had i not had great foodin the past this would have been my first and last time ordering from here. Hopefully this is a one off and will give it another try or back to Oskland Gyro i go

Sooooo.... asked a lot of questions about the food since there's very little descriptions.. made it VERY clear I have a red meat, dairy, and gluten allergy. I get my food. The rice is covered in lamb sauce aka red meat.... the chicken is covered in blocks of cheese.... and they gave me pita bread. .... it's not only DANGEROUS to COMPLETELY ignore people's allergies but you can make some people deathly ill.. this isn't a joke.... not only.. the Food was ok.. I'm not impressed and regret my travel here. 20 dollars I could of spent with people who listen when their customer just spent longer trying to find food that will work for them and held your line up with these questions to then recieve it covered in the exact allergens they just LENGTHLY described to you about.

Let me preface this by saying I know it's a gyro place, but I ordered a cheeseburger on the recommendation of the staff at the eye doctor next door. I am giving this 2 stars because the employee who waited on me and cooked my meal was very friendly and polite. Food not so good. I watched him chip a frozen burger patty off the block. What I received was completely flavorless, with exception to the bun. The burger patty did not even have any salt or pepper. The portions however were quite large, so size-wise it was worth the cost. I will be returning in a few weeks to give the gyros a try and hopefully boosting up this rating.

I ordered the appetizer combo and sandwich combo. Ate the fried appetizers in the car on the way home and they where pretty good, as long as they were hot. I got to the sandwich and found the chicken and beef to be rather mildly seasoned, but I like it that way. Unfortunately they were rather dry. The lamb was OK. The beef was tough and chewy, filled with gristle and absolutely inedible. I ended up spitting out every single piece which is what prompted me to post. What makes it even more insulting is the food was not cheap. I will never consider going back.

Our Family used to love eating here, but ever since the new owner the food tastes entirely different. It tastes bland and as well the prices are overpriced. The old owner gave generous amounts of meat and always made the customers feel at home. As well the burgers and Gyros were phenomenal but they changed almost everything here it does not taste the same. I wish the old owners never sold the place, because I am not the only review that is noticing the change of recipe, pricing and food quality.

I ordered a gyro sandwich off of Uber eats. It arrived in a timely fashion however the meat was SO dry and tough it literally HURT my teeth to eat it. I’ve ordered here for four years and this is the most awful gyro I’ve ever gotten. Word of advice. Cut off the old crusty meat from yesterday so it actually has flavor and is edible. I have been going there for well over 3 yrs but I think there's a change in ownership because the gyros are super small now. We haven't had Gyro27 for a while (usually a delivery favorite in our house), so when we were passing by we decided to do pick up for dinner. We got eggplant fries, a double cheese burger and a mixed grill plate.
I was super excited to have the eggplant fries (something we never order for delivery because they don't travel well). Opening the container in the parking lot the eggplant fries were crisp and delightful. The accompanying marinara sauce was moldy. We took it in and the clerk shook a few different containers of sauce before handing us one. Not even a sorry.
Once we got home the mixed grill was disappointing. Grizzly steak and a very small portion of gyro meat. The chicken was good though.
