We tried coming here a few months ago but they were super busy and had a long wait. We were in the area again tonight and got there around 5pm. We were seated right away and were out of there before 6pm. I’d say it gets busy around 5:30.

Highly recommend the spicy boneless wings. Classic cheesy greasy pizza. Waitress was nice too.

Near Star Lake State Forest campground where we stayed to fish, hike, canoe, and camp. Wonderful bar and grill and supper club down the road in Saynor. The Vinch Burger was a beast in size and absolutely delicious. It was eadiky two meals. Friendly bartenders and lovely Up North atmosphere. The owner was a former Green Bay Packer cheerleader.

Went with a small group of people for dinner. We were seated immediately and our waitress arrived shortly afterwards to take our drink orders. The menu has a variety of food that would please all eating types. Specifically I was there for the pizza. The pizza exceeded my expectations and is now my new favorite place for pizza in the Northwoods! Love this place. Worth the extra few minutes. Food is fantastic and service is excellent. We've had most of the main menu items, and all are excellent. Italian beef is crazy good. Pizza is fantastic. First time for us at this pleasing Wisconsin style tavern and restaurant. Loved the surroundings, was warmly greeted by an owner, and were extremely pleased with our sandwiches and the fries. Service was prompt,

Great food and service. Hadn't been here in several years but it is one of the few places open on Monday so we gave it a go. This time we were here on our anniversary for drinks and dinner. I wasn't very hungry (especially after eating my Bloody Mary garnishes) so I got the soup and salad bar. Greens were dark and fresh-no watery iceberg lettuce in sight. Pasta salads, potato salad, pickled beets were all fresh and tasty. Italian wedding soup equally good and authentic. Spouse had the Cuban. It was HUGE. He could only eat half. Server asked if he wanted a box but since we are tent camping he said no. Server offered to wrap in foil- good idea. We are looking forward to reheating it on the grill for lunch tomorrow. Half split between the two of us will still be enough for lunch. We highly recommend the Hillside. Only downside is that while we arrived there relatively (about 6), it got pretty noisy as the restaurant filled up.

We had a party of 14 adults and 6 children and they were the only place willing to accommodate us for my grandma‘s 85th birthday all at one table. Ate here for the first time in 2 years and I have to say that it is much improved.
Order a pizza and it tasted ok. I would have to say that it was a bit pricey ($30 for a large).
My biggest complaint would be that it was freezing in the restaurant. We were the first customers to be seated and by the time we were served all the tables were filled and every single table complained about the temperature. Most people went out to their cars to get jackets.

I live near Chicago where you can get some pretty good pizza. I walked into Hillside and a sign said world’s best pizza. Absolutely incredible experience. The owner was so polite and accommodating from start to finish. There's a nice deck outside and spaced out seating inside, perfect for whatever your comfort level might be. We ordered a large pizza with different topping on each side and it was fantastic. The restaurant also carries many local beers from Eagle River, so that's a plus. Will be stopping again if we're in the area!

Our camping group had a very large order from Vinchi’s Hillside Restaurant. The pizza was very good, but the Gluten free pizza was even better! I would have to say their gluten free pizza was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had (I’m including regular pizzas in this comment). I never thought a gluten free pizza could be that good. The cheese bread wasn’t the best, but in all honesty I didn’t eat it while it was hot (my bad).

Amazing pizza. Stopped in for carry out pizza and this is definitely some of the best in the Northwoods. Perfect crust that's golden and crisp on the edges piled high with plenty of toppings. Cheesy bread is LOADED with cheese and cooked to a perfect golden brown on the top. Would highly recommend and will come back. Keep in mind this is a cash only establishment, but they do have an ATM if you need inside.
