Two weeks ago I ordered a pizza with sausage/ mushrooms/ onions
Pizza came out no onions !!!
Today went back ordered same pizza
S/m/o came out of the kitchen with (pickled)onions which I didn’t order asked the waitress why we got pickled onions on pizza which we did not want!! her response was the kitchen might of been out of regular onions so they used pickled onions cause that’s all they had ! And she was unclear which day the delivery day was they got regular onions .
(Isn’t the server responsible to inform the customer when they’re out of an ingredient?) Not just substitute with something the customer didn’t ask for ?
Changed the entire flavor of the pizza!

we have traveled here from out of town several times over the last year year and a half. The food is not consistent. They say it’s because it’s all hand prepared but it’s not the same each time. They don’t have a voice recording going or advertise anywhere when they’re gonna be closed for private parties and so we have driven twice in one week 40 minutes Both ways . I would think that there would be better communication letting customers know that they’re not gonna be able to come .you advertise that you’re open seven days a week 365 days a year and you’re not you’re closed for private parties. They cater more to the seasonal person than the person that is their year-round to keep their business going in the winter .well there’s a problem there and we can’t even afford the menu this year the only thing we can afford on it is the pizza and it’s a good pizza so we still like to go there for the atmosphere I hope they get their stuff together Unique place.

The food was good. VERY expensive for a chicken salad sandwich. $15! With a pickle and and a few chips.The table was nasty and old food in the cracks in the tables.🤢🤢🤢 A hour after I ate I got a horrible stomach ache. Next day I had the steak I brought home. The current owners have done a commendable job with this old relic from the days of dance halls and big bands. They recently opened up the wall behind the stage which brightens up the entire interior space. I have been to this place before and loved it. I’ll think twice of going to this place on a Saturday night. The servers were more interested in the game on tv rather than serving us. When we asked for service they made us wait till their conversation between the staff was done. Never once asked us if we needed anything or if the meal was good. Then I made the mistake of using the bathroom to find that they obviously don’t care about cleanliness. You can bet I will think twice before we spend another $200 at a place that doesn’t care about customer service.

Great food and service. Wonderful atmosphere. We went there to eat dinner while we were in the area on vacation. We sat at a table overlooking the lake. Was open and airy with high ceiling and large windows. Nice breeze from the lake. The waitress was cheery and the service was fast. We all loved our food. We had leftovers to take with us. Went there today with our group of 12 on 2 jet skis and a toon. Our waiter Grayson was AWESOME started us out with a few pitchers of much needed ice cold water. Indian Crossing Waterfront Restaurant is in an awesome location. The atmosphere is great, the open air concept with the outdoor seating is very nice. The service we had was fantastic and the Old Fashioned I had was 5 stars.
The food I ordered was awful. I ordered the cheese curds (which were good) and the Brussels sprouts which were not good. They were soggy and peppery, not crispy roasted and the seasoning was off. I also ordered the Perch Dinner on a Friday night and that was the worst fish I’ve ever had in Wisconsin. The breading looked like a chicken tender and somehow they made it taste like a saltwater fish stick.
Their prices are also high for the portion size. They have an area on the menu labeled “substitutes” so you have options to change your sides. The pricing makes zero sense, to swap regular fries with sweet potato fries cost an additional $4. All of the substitutes range from $4-5 additional dollars. They might as well call this section “add on’s.” I don’t mind paying for food when it’s good but this wasn’t it. In my opinion the menu is just too large. There is no way a restaurant can do everything well. They should shrink the menu and master those dishes. I’m sure the pizza and burgers are good cause it’s hard to mess that up and to be fair I haven’t tried everything. Just sharing my experience as we go to Chain O Lakes annually and always go for dinner once we get off the water.

ICC has become a go to during our yearly visit to the Chain of Lakes. Food, service, and atmosphere has always been fantastic. Last nights dinner was no different. Our server Scout was amazing, fun and bubbly. Our group of 7 all enjoyed the food and drinks. Whether we pulled up in our pontoon or pulled in with our car, 5/5 every time. Highly recommended.

I've been to ICC a few times in the past couple of weeks. The food is excellent, although my chips with salsa and guacamole weren't my favorite, overcooked for my liking. Otherwise, every dish I've ordered, besides the one time I ordered that starter, have been excellent. The service had been a little slow, even when it doesn't seem too busy. Had to ask for refills on drinks every time I've been in. Very nice place to sit and chat with friends and have a meal, have a date, or even grab a meal by yourself.
I will definitely be returning.

After a few of us had lunch at the Indian Crossing casino earlier in the week, the rest of our group wanted to try it. 8 of us pulled up on jet ski’s and grabbed a couple tables. Our server Warren took our drink order and had water ready for us. Meanwhile, I took a screen shot of the menu and sent it to the rest of our party. I asked Warren if I could order for everyone still on thier way… Our group of 20 ranges from 7 months to 70+ years old with just enough toddlers through tweens to make the best in the service industry question life’s choices…. We rival the best (or worst) flash mobs… ( once a nice young lady walked out in the middle of her shift at Cracker Barrel) Warren put in the order and was refilling drinks when we heard it… The unmistakable sound of the pontoon going under the bridge…. It sounded like something out of Jurassic park, Hangry kids including a set of twins) just waiting to crush their next victims soul with expert levels of whining , crying, and indecisiveness.. This would be like fighting the final boss in any of the Mario games… Would this be the end of Warren? Stay tuned…. Warren was calm cool and collective and started slinging waters, lemonade and dr. Peppers faster than the kids could change their minds….. plates of taco’s, buffalo wings, and chicken tenders soon arrived and the carnivorous act of devouring everything was over almost as quick as it had begun…. The villagers were still restless, but order after order of brownie balls came out and everyone had ate until their hearts and belly’s were content. Warren had emerged victorious! Soon the pirates of waupaca boarded their ship in search of their next adventure…. WARREN absolutely rocked it, The food was delicious. This is by FAR the best spot to eat on the chain

Spring 2025:
We did ask if we could bring our dogs to the outdoor section and were told no. When we went back to enjoy some drinks there were dogs in the outdoor area. Unsure what the actual policy is.

Staff was also inattentive and seemed to be more interested in themselves than the customers. This was frustrating. Staff seemed young and not customer service driven.

The poor kid seating people had to bus, seat people, and play bouncers. My father in law got the hardest roll I have ever seen. Portions for the specials fish fry very small. As a life long resident of Waupaca, what a breath of fresh air the new owners have breathed into this historic building! So much thought was put into the renovations to make it true to it's roots but also blossoming into the next chapter. They have worked through alot of the kinks that comes with new ownership and I have the utmost confidence it'll be smooth sailing from here on out ! You can't beat the view on a sunny summer day at the ICC.

If you're looking for a bite to eat, some entertainment, to meet new people, to do something with your family...literally anything... Look no further. They have thought of everything. Concerts are amazing! Events on the green are so much fun! And my 7 year old very picky daughter says their wings are better than Buffalo wild wings. And they have merch you can wear anywhere. Atmosphere and new remodeling were amazing. The outside bar is great. Bartenders did a terrific job.
Food however was mediocre at best, late, undercooked and forgotten at worst. Waitress was friendly but overun so not able to be very attentive (probably hard to have enough staff), but when she forgot a meal and had to bring part of it out in a doggy box because everyone was done, something should have been offered as compensation. I do have to say though the cheescurds were very good.
We'll still be back to try again.

Our 1st time being here for many years. We wanted a special treat for our two college kids leaving & heard it had been remodeled. It was not busy, we got a table inside to watch the boats go by. We’ve been here 3 times now, and each time things get worse. The first 2 times we sat at the bar and we were made the feel like a nuisance to the bar staff. The bar tenders were all young and very inexperienced but the food was tolerable…we just went in last night, our 3rd time. I ordered the nachos without any meat, and my plate came out as basically just chips with a side of subpar salsa (which they claimed to be homemade), guacamole and cheese with some pico de gallo sprinkled on top. We also ordered Mac and cheese with steak, and it came out without the steak (but there was a handful of micro greens on top?). Also worth noting that we ordered cheese curds and our waitress asked if we wanted those to come out first, and it ended up coming out along with everything else. Not a huge deal. But annoying. Luckily, we asked someone about the nachos v chips and salsa issue and they gave us $5 back to just charge for the chips and salsa. That was nice.

The biggest reason why I’m writing this review is because I was just up all night with food poisoning, which I’m fairly certain came from the “nachos” that I ordered.

Overall, this place has a lot of potential but it’s just missing the mark. It’s on the lake, and has beautiful views, but the menu is aimless, the service is subpar, and the food is not thoughtful at all and made me stay up all night with food poisoning…We will NOT be coming back.

Our family of 4 were told to seat ourselves outside, which we did (around 6:15 pm tonight). We sat there for over 15 minutes and were never served, other than water about 8 minutes in. The renovations, atmosphere, and food were great- especially the outside area seating next to the water. The part that was not great was the waitress my mom and I got on 7/30/24 who was very rude to us (short brown curly hair, very young). The rudeness started when she first came over and the first thing she said when we asked for menus was "did you seat yourselves?" to which I replied "yes" and she looked annoyed and walked away without saying anything and then came back with menus 5-10 minutes later. When she returned I asked her "the bartender told us to seat ourselves out here, were we not supposed to?", to which she ROLLED HER EYES and said "no, the bartenders don't know anything besides how to make drinks" in a very rude and snarky tone. She then left for about 15 minutes and a different waitress saw us waiting/ looking around for our waitress and this new waitress brought us waters. The rude waitress finally came back, took our order. A different worker delivered our food and after a very long time she came and asked if we needed anything- I asked for extra sauce to which she didn't say anything and just walked away. I waited 15 minutes and did not get my sauce, then a different waitress came and asked if I needed anything and I told her I needed more sauce and this new waitress immediately went and got me my sauce in less then 2 minutes. Our original rude waitress was waiting tables all around us and checking in on them but never came back over to us again. We had to ask a different waitress for boxes and the bill, who was very nice and did both for us very promptly. Very poor service from this waitress, which I do not have her name since she never introduced herself to us.

One of my favorite places to go on the Chain O' Lakes! I've stopped in a few times over the last couple years and have never been disappointed by the staff or venue. With a perfect location right on the water off of Columbia lake, it's a great place to hear some live music or enjoy a drink with friends and family.

Love the atmosphere. We went opening weekend and had a horrible experience. Cold food and inexperienced wait staff. Had to give it another chance since it was the opening weekend. Went back July 19th for a concert. Staff at the temporary bars and The Brown House were awesome. The main bar, not so much. Ordered a gin and tonic. Watched the guy make it. He gave me gin and 7up. Told him this is not tonic. He just looked at me and said yes it is." Very rude. Don't think we'll ever be back.

Newly opened have a few things to work on but a must to visit. I would not recommend the burger very burnt/dried out BUT the onion rings were amazing.

Great atmosphere - and great job getting this place renovated. Pricing is out of line. $18 for a glass of wine in a plastic cup (event pricing) is way too much. Hoping they figure this out

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. Our server Cynthia was terrible. We ordered drinks which we waited for, and then a group of 12 which came in after us recieved their drinks before us. We asked Cynthia where the drinks were when our food came out and her response was "that's not my job, that's the bars" our drinks ending up coming after our meal was done. When we ordered we asked if the chips were homemade, and Cynthia responded that they were. Come to find out, they were not - her response was "that's what they told me". We also did not have silver ware at our table when the food came - we asked for silverware and Cynthia's response was "that's not my responsibility". During the meal, and after the meal we asked to speak to the manager, but Cynthia kept saying the manager was not around. Turns out, after asking another server where the manager was on our way out, the manager had been there all along. We spoke to the manager about this whole meal, and nothing was done to correct any issues. We will not be back. Food was fine though.

The place is very nice. The only thing I didn't care for was the outside bar. The music was unpleasant and loud. It might be OK for someone very young. You just can't hear anyone talking. I usually like most music, but that music was not for me or my boyfriend.
I would not recommend the cob salad, I didn't like the lettuce. It tastes like weeds. I loved everything else in it. Service is great. They have a lot of people working there. I would almost think, to many people working.

Cool theme and setup, very poor service and attitudes from inside bar staff. Had a few comments from others and I myself never even ordered a drink. Waited with cash in hand looking at the bar for 5-10 min while 4-5 people were behind the counter. Half just doing random things or ignoring you. Not a good experience at all.

Well, first time there I like the way they redid the place very nice. What was shocking to me is there were two bartenders seem to be kids under age and the third bartender his name was Dan was a very nice guy. Very good bartender!! if it wasn’t for him, we would’ve not stayed, but he was the only one to seem to be working the bar. There was, in the corner a small black hair girl not doing nothing but talking to a couple guys at the corner of bar she never once waited on us, we always had to wait for Dan and there was another young kid bartending he came once did know how make the drink I had, had to wait for Dan. I am not sure, but I thought I seen that little girl with black hair take tip money and split it with some other guy in the back table. Can’t be certain.? One young person said they worked more than 16 hours without break or lunch, but there was no manager or anybody for that person to talk to? I did not see a manager on site. Not sure if I wanna go back just for these reasons? I think they need some adult supervision?

Love the new ICC! Food and drink menu are fantastic. We had a huge group that kept Malayna super busy, but she did a great job with us and gave great service. Can’t wait to keep coming back!

The new additions in 2024 have really put this establishment to the top of the list in Waupaca, and on The Chain. Huge outdoor area on the water, plus the restaurant/bar inside make this a favorite for our family. Our daughter loves waiving at all the boats as they go by on a busy weekend! Brunch always hits the spot too!

Stopped for lunch. Had a "Farmers' Salad".
The menu says "Greens" -- well -- the menu does not say that the "greens" are kale. I am not able to chew kale, so the majority of the salad stayed on the plate.
The waitress offered another dish, but I passed.
I may have been more lucky ordering something else in the first place.

Various options were available for seating -- we sat under parasols at the picnic table on the shore, which was great.

Well done new owners! Love the Brown House, extended hours and menu. The additional boat parking along with the outdoor bar and seating made this our new fav spot! The kids play in the water, the grown ups get comfy chairs and good drinks.
