Our server was rarely seen, it took maybe 20 minutes for us to be asked for our food order and when the food arrived, after almost an hour wait, my steak was almost well-done (I had asked for medium rare) and was dry like it sat under the heating lamp too long

I havent been down to visit yet, just takeout whitefish hoagie was very large, its always really yummy. My son goes frequently and speaks very highly of all aspects he rated above, says they're locally owned, and a good family-run business.

Stopped here later one evening on a trip back from the Northwest Angle. Very quiet, nicely decorated. My order came out improperly cooked but the waitress took it back and they made me a new one without issue. I really appreciate that. My friend really liked his salmon and I loved my chicken sandwich. Our server was very nice and helpful.

Went for dinner and was very happy. The Landing Old fashioned was the winner for the pre-dinner drink! Scallop dinner and Whitefish dinner were both excellent! Augratin potatoes were the best we've had! Must try! Service was perfect!

Unfriendly service right from the start. We felt we were an inconvenience. The bartender made us feel unwanted as she gave excuses that it would be a long wait and she was nor sure when she could get to us. Very unprofessional and no hospitality at all.

We're always skeptical of hotel restaurants, as many aren't recommended and would hardly have a chance of survival without the attached hotel. The Landing is a notable exception. The food is truly good and offers a welcome change from the usual American fare. You can even overlook the fact that the chicken cordon bleu is just formed meat. The terrace is a wonderful place to enjoy the sunset, where there's also a great selection of drinks.

I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, and wanted crispy chicken (they don’t offer it) and asked if I wanted their chicken strips instead (same thing in my opinion!!) honestly the best Alfredo I’ve had out! Will be stopping our next time through town.

Beautiful views of Lake Superior, nice background music and professional staff. The specials were exceptional- we have never had such exquisitely prepared pork and salmon. The pork was so tender you did not need a knife. The salmon was beautifully seasoned- the sides were perfect. Fun drinks and the chocolate brûlée was to die for. Thanks again!

The food was not great, lots of commercial, premade aspects like the gravy. The weird dipping sauce for the cheese curds was also unpleasant though the curds themselves weren't bad.

Went to get a carry out order and the waitress that helped me seemed put out that I was picking up and not dining in. Just generally a rude vibe from her.

Don't think I'll go back. There are way better places to eat within 30 minutes of the Landing.

Lovely spot with great view of the bay and very tasty food. We enjoyed the roast pork and mashed potatoes, all you can eat whitefish, and personal pizza. All were generous and well seasoned. Big disappointment that they don’t offer hot tea on a winter day. I mean, how hard is to offer that…. about the simplest thing on earth? Please invest in a box or two of tea. Thanks.

I'm still trying to process how awful this meal was. We ordered the tuna tartare starter and it was inedible. The dish consisted of heavily soy sauced tuna and avocados, served with crostini. Not appetizing at all. The porterhouse steak for 2 was not much better. The wild rice pilaf was also inedible, as it was completely undercooked and lacking in flavor. Uncle Ben's would have been better. The asparagus looked and tasted like it was microwaved. Overcooked, no seasoning, and came out with a side of butter. The steak was fine, but for $65 a bit pricey if everything else was unfit to eat. If this expereince had an upside, it was our server, Sofie; she was on top of it and I understand none of the food prep was her fault. She was prompt and courteous. Inpsite of her excellent service, we don't have plans to ever return.

Lovely place to eat with the lake view, the whitefish sandwich was huge and tasted amazing, fish was the best I ever eaten. It was hard to find this restaurant in the building, you will need to go by stairs to the lower level. Don’t know if is elevator inside.

Gorgeous view but the food was awful. The lobster roll was literally imitation lobster. Are you joking? Never in my life have I even seen imitation lobster & for the price they’re charging that is completely unacceptable!!!
I also got the ceviche which was the worst I have ever had. It could not have tasted more like nothing. Lettuce is more flavorful. They didn’t even have lime or salt in it at all. Old bland tiny shrimp tomatoes onions and jalapeños that somehow are not even spicy or flavorful at all. Would never eat here again. So disappointed. The prices and the atmosphere make it seem like it will be great but what a massive disappointment :(.
I am honestly not hard to please and I never leave bad reviews but I don’t want to even pay for this because it’s such a joke :(.

We went for the Friday Fish fry and it was very good. Whitefish can be tricky to get right, and I think they did a good job. The batter was perfectly seasoned and crispy, and the tartar sauce was bright and creamy to match. I got the potato wedges as one of the sides, and they were excellent, plus you get a lot of them. We started the meal with their cheese curds, and they were very good. The batter was similar to tempura batter, which makes it light and crispy. We didn't really care for the tomato jam they were served with, so we added a side of their ranch. It is a lighter version of ranch, which cuts the richness of a fried cheese curd very well, and we really enjoyed that. We each had a blueberry spritzer to drink, and I really enjoyed it. It's made with soda water, so it isn't too sweet, but it does have a sugar rim, which adds a controllable amount of sweetness. Overall, it was a good meal and couldn't beat the outdoor seating overlooking Lake Superior.

Started when our server was wearing clothes covered in (presumably) pet hair! We ordered brisket (was full of fat) and a steak with wild rice and sautéed onions. The steak was fine, the onions were missing and the rice was a pilaf goo that had about 20 grains of wild rice . . . In northern Wisconsin which is home to real wild rice. Wine list was limited. We had talked about dessert but decided our options were better with Walmart cheesecake. The Landing has a nice physical structure but don’t let that fool you. Don’t go!!

On Easter Sunday (2024), my family thought for the Ist time to try the dine in. Lot of the restraunts were done with the Easter Dinner because they ran out of food. So we tried the Landing and am so glad we did. The waiter was very friendly and was on top of everything. The Easter brunch was just like as if you were at home cooking your Easter Brunch. Food was delicious!! I asked the male waiter, who is the Owner because I would like to put in a good word for you and he said " Oh, he is right here", so we all started to laugh. The Owner was very friendly and had a smile on his face. So I told him what we thought on how the waiter was very friendly and Professional. He smiled and said Thank You. We will definitely be going back. Very Friendly and Welcoming.

We came for breakfast and had the chicken and waffles and corn beef and hash with poached eggs. It was all cooked perfectly and so delicious!! So excited to have a great place to eat by the water any time of day! Can’t wait to enjoy the patio this summer, I sure hope there will be live music!
