This was a bar food kind of place but the fish fry was really good. The potato pancakes were excellent. My husband had a shrimp dinner and he had about 10 large shrimp. The drinks weren't bad either.

A bar and grill sitting right before you jump into the interstae and right across Mitchell International Airport. Great place on Sundays to watch the Packers. They have a buffet for fans to gourmandize on. The chicken fried steak special is very delicious. Bernie, the bartender, is very friendly as local patrons like Al. Great convos spark here easily. They do have a wraparound deck to enjoy the summer time.

Service was a little slow and they were inattentive to our drinks in the back room. Big pet peeve when the food arrives without any silverware or napkins on the table. But when it did arrive, it was hot and delicious all around. We had the beer battered, breaded and baked fish and all were nice thick pieces of fish and tasted really good. The potato pancakes were perfect, with your choice of applesauce or maple syrup. A nice thick slice of buttered marble rye and lemons wedges aplenty. Will go back!

Food here was delicious. But the food is very very over priced . I was shocked when I received my bill and seen the total. Sorry, but it shouldn't cost me $20 for my young daughter to eat tenders and fries. And dam near $25 for wings and onion rings / fries. Service was okay. But the food is way over priced.

Amazing Experience at The Landing Food & Spirits in St. Francis!

I had the pleasure of dining at The Landing Food & Spirits my visit was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile.

The food was absolutely delicious! I had it exceeded my expectations in both flavor and presentation. The menu offers a great variety, so there's something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a hearty meal or a light bite, you’ll find it here.

My husband was craving a fish fry, I'd remembered my brother raving about their food and especially the fish fry.

We were not disappointed. My steak sandwich was delicious and cooked to perfection. Husband really enjoyed the fish. We also had the appetizer sampler, which was also tasty.

Looking forward to dining in on a Thursday and trying the chicken fried steak.

Nice place, one great bartender. But, this is a “corner bar” with bar food. Drink price raised by 60%. Not customers job to make up for lost income due to COVID. Will not be returning. Raising prices and losing customers is counterproductive. Perhaps I should use the term gouging, instead of raising prices.

Update 2/27. Husband ordered hard shell tacos with extra salsa. Received soft shell tacos, no salsa. Last visit to this place.

I had the prime rib sandwich that comes with au jus. I had them add swiss for a french dip and swiss. Very tasty. The sour cream and chive fries are very good. Expected them to be seasoned with a powdered sour cream seasoning blend, but they weren't. The fries were seasoned and then came with a sour cream based dipping sauce. Nice twist.

Others ordered the steak sandwich, Reuben, and burgers. All said everything tasted very good. And everything looked real good.

Recommend for a night out with friends.

What a great fish fry my wife had the baked cod I had the bluegill fry and French fries and onion rings with a few beers. Are waitress was great and the place has a good atmosphere as Well as the the people who work there. We will be back again but we will get there earlier so we can have the home made potato pancakes. Highly recommend the landing for fish fry and other food on there menu.

I live out of town and had an expired Groupon to use. We were welcomed and received our drink order promptly. We placed our sandwich order and the Reuben and Hamburger with fries arrived quickly and were excellant. In fact the Rueben was one of the best I have ever had! Less than average bar food. I ordered the Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes and corn. It tasted identical to the On-cor Frozen meals you get at the grocery store for $2.50. Ok drinks. Ok service. They have an electronic sign that says try a shot of Malort "on the house"...

WOW! Best shrimp dinner in a long time. Plenty of crispy, lightly battered shrimp. The fries were a swirl cut and a bit thicker which made them tastier. I don’t normally go for the rye bread but it was thinly sliced and buttered, perfect. Coleslaw was excellent also.

Originally tried The Landing because of a Groupon deal. I'm glad I did, it's a St. Francis gem.

The Food: Really excellent! The wings are amazing, awesome french fries, best potato skins in the area, great chicken sandwiches, etc. I haven't had anything that wasn't good yet.

Ambiance: Let's just say that this isn't the place to be if you want a quiet, romantic dinner but it has a "dive" charm and well-kept. There's a regular crowd and it can get loud.

Service: Usually the same one or two women working the bar and tables. Great service considering how busy they are, don't know how they manage so well.

Overall: Try-it! Great stop for a nice drink and a surprisingly good meal. The food keeps me coming back.

This was our first time here as I won a gift certificate through a benefit held for a friend. The staff were friendly and we received great service. I ordered the prime rib sandwich and my husband a mushroom swiss burger. Those were excellent even down to the bread!! The only thing that wasn't quite up to par was the fact that the fries were a little overdone. Otherwise, I think I'll make it a point to come back again.

Best fish fry Ever. Fish was moist and flakey with tasty batter. Potato pancakes were hot crispy and seasoned perfectly. The coleslaw was creamy and tasted very fresh. The service was excellent despite being pretty crowded. The bartender was a real professional. It's a pretty intimate place with lots of folks would appeared to be regulars, but I felt welcome.

We have been here on other occasions. The friday fish fry was amazing. We saw that they offered pizza as well so we came back try that. Now on new years day it was understood that the bartender was busy. But it took forever for her to get our order. Then after it was taken finally, 10 minutes later the kitchen starts smoking. 0ther people received their food already so we knew it was ours. The cook came out and was joking with regular customers saying he had it under control. Where we are sitting in the corner waiting over 30 minutes for a burnt pizza. No communication was given to us as to what was going on until about a minute before we got our food. I am a manager at a restaurant so I know the proper way to handle food that was not made correctly the first time. The Landing failed at executing that. We will give them another chance since it is so close to my place. But they definitely did not exceed our expectations this time.
