Went in for fish fry at 7 pm. Only had at most 5 other tables seated. Service was terribly slow, server or kitchen and bar messed up our drink and entree order (but not the other side of our table). Would try again but left mildly disappointed.

If you haven’t, give this place a try. We ordered the mac and cheese, penne ala vodka and classic cheeseburger w fries to go. Burger was cooked perfect and love the crinkle cut fries. Mac was fresh and cheesy. The penne was flavorful and came with garlic bread like the mac. Very yummy!

The most incredible and refreshing experience I’ve had in a long time. Service was phenomenal and the food was to die for. The chef made it a point to visit our table. To see the person who’s behind the exquisite cuisines made the experience far more enjoyable and personable. I also want to say Deb was incredible when it came to service. She was very attentive, warm, and friendly. Overall between the amazing food, incredible service, and beautiful scenery stopping at the lantern for a bite to eat will definitely be worth your while. I look forward to stopping by again!

Second time there on a Friday. Loved the shrimp special and the potato pancakes were delicious. Husband had the lime butter walleye and said it was very good. Highly recommend

What a great surprise! We ate at the bar on a Wednesday evening. Ambiance in the bar was good. We ordered Chicken Cordon bleu, Fish tacos, and the Brussel sprouts. The food was very delicious, all came out hot and prepared perfectly! The house salad was very nice and the Old fashioned was excellent! We will definitely be back, and are pleased to find a menu in Wisconsin Rapids that has a variety including but also beyond cheese curds and burgers! I also love that they have GF and V noted on the menu. We also had great service.

I held my son’s rehearsal dinner here. The food was great atmosphere nice, mainly the service was excellent, especially with other guests in the restaurant and our party was 26 people.
Jamie was my contact person, and always responded promptly was very helpful with the menu and also was one of our servers. I can’t say enough about her. They are lucky to have her as an employee. Thanks again so much Jamie and it was a pleasure to also meet you.
The list of foods does not show everything we had so the only one was the Reuben. Salads, fish fry, steaks and burgers were wonderful as well.

Wasn't expecting much by the looks of what was on the menu, since it mainly presented fish/tuna in central wi ?!The tuna sandwich was delicious, cooked perfectly and paired well w the pico and avocado. Definitely will be coming back for that! We also got the tuna steak and it was overcooked, sadly. Although 1/7 dishes we ordered did not meet a standard the rest was amazing. We went on a friday evening and the walleye fish fry was delicious. Deb, provided amazing service. Mixed drinks were a hit or miss. Overall, well worth the price for quantity and quality of food. It wasn't expensive as expected.

Our server only seemed qualified to flirt with older men that would give her attention, could not keep track of salad orders, bringing out 2/5 and then the remaining 3 salads 30 minutes later (what on Earth???). One member of our table complained about the compilation of errors which did not really help, no apology, no offered drink or dessert. Brought out the tray holders about 15 minutes before the food (and the three salads). Brought out on tray of food AND THEN LEFT IT THERE. Leaving the food there for so long that my uncle again got up and began serving the ahi tuna which should have never left the kitchen for being over cooked. Nice atmosphere and the band playing was excellent but man alive, it was noticeable many of the tables only came to listen to the band but didn't bother with anything requiring service.

So many missed opportunities here.

If you are looking for poor service and over cooked ahi tuna this is surly your cup of tea. Can understand why most of those here for the music ate somewhere else.
