The brisket sandwich was really good. Both the fries and the homemade chips were exceptional. We had the baked French onion soup - very good!
The decor was really cute! Love the up north lodge feel. Pleasantly surprised for a strip mall! It was a little heavy on the televisions, but the sound was down or off, so we could carry on a conversation comfortably. Finally, Addison (Addey) was our server, she is a beautiful young lady with a beautiful personality. She recommended items and gave her honest opinion, and took our substitutions in stride, much appreciated. She was very attentive and so friendly. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been thinking about coming to The Lodge for some time now and i finally got the opportunity to go. The waitress was very friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the Wisconsin Pub burger and my girlfriend ordered the brisket sandwhich, my burger was cooked perfectly to temp and came out in a fashionable time. The brisket sandwhich was amazing, the brisket seasoned very well and went amazing with fries. Will definitely come here again!

Place looks cool. But very expensive. Small wrap with no fries for 12 bucks. Nachos for $13 and pretty small as well. Be careful of the rotational beers for $9 a pint. There are plenty of other places out there.

Edited: I gave it another shot on the food since they have new owners. Nachos have changed for the worse. I was told it was beer cheese made in the kitchen. No way. It comes from a can. Garbage.

Been here several times before. It's an interesting motif inside. It's a sports bar (with plenty of TVs), intending to look like an outdoor lodge. There are structures that look like cabins, and the flooring is meant to mimic grass. There is seating at tables, a bar area. The have video and other games towards the rear. This time it was a Sunday evening. Not that busy. A few people at the bar, and two other tables of people.

Got seated right away. Waters, and menus were close behind. Ordered several cocktails and a beer. My Poloma was good, but nothing special.

We ordered a Wisconsin Pub Burger, Smoked Brisket Sandwich and a cup of minestrone soup. Didn't take to long for the food to come out. Everything appeared to be freshly made, good temperatures, and the portions were generous. That sandwiches were both good. The burger was medium-rare as ordered and well constructed. Great taste. The fries were hot, and had the right amount of salt. The brisket sandwich was good, but the meat was skimpy for the size of the bun. The soup was good.

Not much impressed with the service. There was one person running several tables. Felt like they were new and didn't know much about the menu items or the drinks. Did check on us once after serving our food, but that was it. Had to flag them down for another drink, extra napkins and the bill.

A good experience, but nothing that inspired us to want to come back soon.

Haven't been here for awhile, after numerous times, so decided to return. My husband had boneless chicken wings, which were basically quarter sized nuggets about 1/4 inch thick tossed in buffalo sauce, and maybe 10 pieces. $15. I had the walleye sandwich. Walleye is not a fishy tasting fish. This was. Perhaps old? Only ate half. The menu has gotten smaller and food way less appealing and appetizing. Will NOT return. Food has gone downhill. Usually had to wait a bit on a Friday. Only half the tables were occupied. What does that tell you!

We had our first visit at The Lodge last night and it did not disappoint. Atmosphere is important to me and it is apparent that the owner spared no expense to portray a true representation of a rustic lodge giving one the feeling of being outdoors, complete with a faux tree and a log cabin front porch. Whitetail buck mounts and a canoe hung from the ceiling complete the ambience. We live in a log home and recognize the furniture as being Old Hickory brand, which is the most expensive rustic dining furniture on the market.
The bar offers a wide selection of anything you could think of including an extensive beer menu along with most popular wines. The actual bar itself is a thing of beauty!
My wife declared her burger was one of the best ever as she ordered it customized to her taste. The fries were lightly seasoned and plentiful. My brisket hoagie just didn't quite satisfy me as the meat was a little skimpy and the cheese and onion strings portions were on the small side as well. The large hoagie bun overwhelmed the sandwich with too much bread. I'm sure we'll be back soon to check out other items on their extensive menu.
Our server, Rae L., deserves a shout out. She was prompt, professional, and personable as she seemed to be the only server on duty for the restaurant that was over half full. We observed her servicing every guest with a smile and never looked overwhelmed. We were impressed!
The Lodge is a casual spot catering to all who appreciate the cozy feeling of a Wisconsin Up North vacation without the drive. We'll be back!

Reasonable prices on drinks and tasty appetizers, but the main food was bland. My med-rare burger came out well-done. It was dry and didn’t taste good. First time we visited. We brought three teenagers, two for their birthday. Had wonderful free cake for the kids. Surprised that we got a free shot with the Packers score, and they scored twice. Would have been nice to be acknowledged or served in a restaurant that's dine in. I worked in no greeting and proceeded to the restroom. I sat at a table near the bar for 20 minutes with no greeting no menu it was like I was a ghost. I noticed tables getting prompt service that came in after me. Sadly, the mixed drinks are worse than even chain restaurants. My wife's strawberry margarita was very weak, it had almost no strawberry flavor or color and it had way too much ice. My bottled imported beer was skunky. The appetizer we had was the boneless chicken wings, which was a small pile of tiny institutional chicken nuggets. The portion size was appropriate for a nursing home patient. I was embarrassed for the restaurant when I saw them.
The entrees were very good though, and made up for the first two strikes. The shrimp were huge, the fries were good, and the half slice of institutional bread was just okay (cheapskates!).
The service was great, all staff were very friendly and checked on us often.
The crowd was retirees like us, which was very nice. They have a decent sized crowd, which I assume may be from nearby apartments.
A few tweaks and they could do so much better.

I have been here a lot over the years. Seen the many changes and lately they have been failing at many cylinders. Last night I stopped in, wasn't too busy on a Sunday night around 530. Was greeted and we got drinks pretty fast. Put our food order in..a house salad, kids corn dog with tots and crispy chicken slider. We waited about ten minutes got tots, which was weird since they come with the meal. Then about another 13 minutes later we got our food, so 23 minutes for simple easy food. Then it went from bas to horrible.

Next, nothing in our order was right. Asked for house salad, they added grilled chicken. Ask for crispy chicken slider got a grilled chicken slider..my son got chips with his meal, he never asked for. I kindly told the bartender, who seemed rather clueless, about the mixed up. He comped the salad. But sent the slidder back at around 5:47 pm. Then I finished my salad. A group of 8 sat behind us. I continued to wait. Then 6:00 rolls around I asked the clueless bartender about my slidder..He said I'll check on it..nothing. Said I could have a free pbr...I said I just wanted my slider. Then, at 6:10 rolls the table of 8 got all their food, including fried chicken. Around 6:14 pm, bartender asked how I'm doing. I said close me out we're leaving. Get the bill shortly after, still no slidder, and he was going to charge me for it, I said take it off, plus the tots you charged for. He said kids meals don't come with tots, then I showed him the menu online, stating clearly it did. It seemed like he was unchanging for everything or completely clueless. The added chicken to salad 6 dollars. Tots on the side 5 dollars..so he was trying to add 11 dollars to my bill ir again clueless.

Finally, got the correct bill. Still no chicken slidder, no I'm not taking it to go. There's been other issues there as of late. Long ticket times, subpar food, inattentiveness on the staff. I think I'll just stop going till everyone is properly trained, knows the menu and cooks who can cook and understand ticket times. The bartender made so many mistakes and clearly doesn't know what he's doing. I am not holding my breath anytime soon. Prices are fairly high here and rather take my business elsewhere.

There are some servers here that are amazing, but there is one in particular that is horrible. The first time we had her, I gave her the benefit of the doubt, anyone can have a bad night. However, we had her again tonight and same thing. She doesn't know the menu well enough to advise customers, she forgets to enter things you ordered, puts wrong items on your order and also takes forever. Another table with more people sat at the same time as us. The other server (who is awesome and we've had before) had her table fed and out the door before we even had all of our food. The food there is just OK in my opinion, but it's convenient for us so we go back from time to time. Despite poor service, your only option for tipping is 20 or 25 percent in their system. We normally tip well and we don't stiff servers regardless, but it's annoying that those are the only two options, even if the server is terrible. I don't think we will be back or if we do try again, it's going to be a long while.

My family and I were here from out of town, and some of them even were visiting from out of the country. We had a very nice time here. Our server Chloe was so sweet and took great care of us. The food was delicious and came out quickly. Huge shout out to friendly chef Tony for the yummy food and for checking up on us and definitely for that amazing house sauce. We Ordered appetizers and drinks. A handful of curds arrived that were good but not worth the price. My burger was overcooked when I had ordered it medium, so that made it dry and flavorless. The Fish was oily and we asked for melted butter, but were served cooking oil. The BLT had a spoonful of mayo in the center and somehow, flavorless bacon. The waitress came and offered no help, just not to give us boxes. I asked for the manager. The cook and manager ( a short lady who did nothing about the situation) came near the table. They stood nearby, talking on the phone, eyeing up the food. When they finally decided to address me, I told them everything and was told I needed to pay half. That was it. No offer to remake the food or a new dish, just rudely demanding cash. These folks had no customer service experience, and put as much care into assisting customers complaints as they do preparing food: none. I told them this wasn't a good resolution, I said I wasn't doing that. They said they were calling the police, and I said I would wait. Then was told to leave and never come back. I called police from the parking lot, and was told the lodge had not called, and so I left.
A short time later as I was eating dinner, I received a call from muskego police, who notified me that I had a trespassing warrant from the lodge, and couldn't return.
All of this could have been easily avoided with even the most basic customer service.
Beware- if you complain about the food, you could get a trespassing warrant too.

We walked into the restaurant to eat and play Bingo as we always do as a group of 4 to 6 players. Tonight two of us arrived earlier than others. The extremely rude hostess told us there were no tables but clearly it wasn’t busy with many open tables. We moved to an open table and the hostess said we couldn’t sit there because there were only two us even though we offered to move if a larger table came in. We explained that more were coming then we were told they were short on servers so we couldn’t sit there even though we said we would order at the bar. Very rude hostess we will take our business elsewhere as we did tonight no food was purchased

Thank you Alicia for making the wedding shower for our daughter and future son-in-law AMAZING. The atmosphere and food at the Lodge are great, but we cannot say enough about the service. Alicia anticipated our every need and delivered. The staff was tremendous and kept the drinks flowing! We took advantage of the private party room the Lodge offers and received VIP service all the way. Everyone had a wonderful time, but most especially the bride and groom! I dined there last evening with two good friends. Our inexperienced waitress was so very nice, but admitted she's only been there a week, so we even allowed for that in our grade. If my friends and hadn't been so absorbed in our conversation and enjoying each other's company, we would have asked why our orders were taking so long. Eventually they arrived, one was a sausage, another was 3 tacos, and the third was patty melt. A side order of Cole slaw with the patty melt never arrived. Our concern was that we were one of maybe only 4 occupied tables in the entire restaurant and the service was still.. so...slow. This place is not special, even for the type of restaurant it is. Not real impressed or thrilled with our first time experience - will most likely not return or recommend to others of influence. We had a reservation for about 8 ladies for my daughters bachelorette get together (5 of these young 20 something college age kids are simply trying to afford school, rent, make car payments, and general life necessities yet they invested their time and money into this special celebration ) and these 5 girls decided to get an appetizer to share amongst themselves so they ordered a basket of cheese curds (a Wisconsin favorite) but when it arrived there was literally 10 cheese curds in the basket for $10 - one of the girls asked my opinion and if I’d be willing to ask our server if this was a mistake which of course I did - it wasn’t necessarily the response we were given, but rather the attitude that was delivered which we fully were not paying for - the server stated, “ the order was not based on the amount but rather based on the weight content” and when I said, “ how can $10 for 10 cheese curds be justified?” she gave me a blank stare like I was the spawn of satan for simply drawing her attention to our concern by asking her the question - she never asked if we wanted to speak to a manager or even sympathized on a human level with the girls concern or situation. She continued to serve us with a very cold & annoyed attitude for the duration of our evening. She should probably not be “serving” in the food industry or management should probably properly train their wait staff on how to deal with conflict and resolution issues. It was a very disappointing experience and really set a bad tone for our meal. I highly doubt these other 7 ladies will want to recommend or return to this establishment which appears to be a fun atmosphere! Servers and wait staff are the face and temperament of the establishment - they are called to serve - it’s part of their title! Please do much better next time - although we will not take a chance or return to pay for that kind of treatment and attitude!

Don’t get me started on the toast and cheese they tried serving as grilled cheese. The cheese is supposed to be melted, right? Not my dish so didn’t send it back.

They had bingo night! That was a blast and would recommend you visit for this.

The decor hasn’t changed since it was the “Outdoor Inn” and that’s great! I love how it’s done and hope it never changes. Definitely a modern Up North feel.

Alicia was a saint. I needed to organize a family group dinner after my 90 year old father passed away. Finding a venue to host up to 40 people was hard. Alicia graciously accepted the reservation, made a great room available to us, created a special menu, etc. Everyone was impressed with the food, service, room and kindness we were shown. I can’t thank you enough.

I’ve been here before in the past, and it has been decent. However, my family decided to go there one day last month randomly and we ordered a burger, wrap, and two of us ordered boneless wings. The waitress was lovely. She was absolutely perfect. Did a great job, so this has no reflection on her. when our dinners came to us, the boneless wing baskets were set in front of us and I’m not lying when I say they were literally Tyson chicken tenders thrown in some sauce. I’ve had boneless wings before and I’ve definitely had chicken nuggets before as I have kids, these were literally chicken nuggets and buffalo sauce… I almost thought we didn’t have the correct order but then looking around. I realize that this is actually what they call a boneless wing. It was gross, my daughters were so salty In mine, we’re just terrible tasting. And I paid a lot of money for chicken Nuggets like probably around nine dollars I thought maybe 13. The burger was dry and the wrap was not that great. So needless to say, we will not be going there again. If you do, choose to go there, just understand that the boneless wings are actually chicken nuggets.

Excellent service and food. They drove their 2 cooks to the restaurant and even booked them a hotel for the night so they could keep the restaurant open during the snow storm. A lot of nearby residents lost power and they wanted people to have a place to warm up and have a good meal! The Wisconsin Pub Burger is awesome!

Busy Friday dinner hour with three of us for the fish fries. Two of us ordered the baked cod, comes with rye bread, cole slaw, drawn butter and a choice of side. We chose the potato pancakes which comes with apple sauce. One order came with no butter for the bread, and no apple sauce. The other order came with no bread, butter or apple sauce. Our server apologized and got everything straightened out. On to the food; the baked cod spent too much time in the oven. It was tough and chewy. The potato pancakes were also over done to the point of being crispy and hard to chew. We chose the spicy cole slaw which was the star of the snow! Not too spicy but with a nice "bite". The third diner at the table had the beer battered cod and it was very good. But again, the potato pancakes were over done. There are other, better fish fries in the area. I will try The Lodge again another time, but not for the fish. Our server was attentive and very pleasant.

Went on a weekday at 530. Service was not quick. Got a burger which I ordered medium and it came medium-well to well. For $16 for a burger and fries I expect better. Grilled chicken bacon ranch wrap was also ordered which was very dry and over seasoned. Cheese curds were very good but you dont get alot for the price.

So we ended up going to another place on game night without knowing it. Thankfully it wasn't trivia, lasting hours, and keeping us from from conversing and having a good time in our own converstaions. It was bingo night and it was fun. Just 9 games, played 3 at a time in sets, with intermissions in between. Lots of fun prizes. I forgot his name, but the caller was great. Fun guy.

The decor is like a hunting lodge, but instead of animal trophies hung on the walls, there are many TVs with sports that are then used for the bingo call boards. Very fun. It took me awhile to realize the flooring is a grass pattern, but only because I don't normally look at the floor that close. I dropped my napkin.

The server was very sweet and patient. I tell ya we have some picky people in our group sometimes and I have WAY less patience than the servers we encounter. Kudos. I can only hope those individuals tip accordingly to their demands.

The food is real good. Two people had the patty melt, and one had the grilled shrimp shareable with Greek seasoning. It's been in the 90s all week so I wanted something lighter. I opted for the chicken, bacon, ranch wrap with tots, and then had the kids sundae for dessert. The wrap was delicious. They really chop everything small so it's easier to eat than most wraps. A detail I never noticed before but it did make a difference. They also mix all the filling ingredients together so you get a taste of everything in each bite. Simple sundae that hit the spot on such a hot day.

Never got to eat. They won't take to go call in orders certain days. So I have to go in and order and wait. Was told 20 min. 45 min later I took a refund and walked out. Don't waste your time here. Food was meh. Panko breaded cod overdone. Baked cod was dry and tasteless. Pub chips didn't seem homemade. Slaw tasted like it was out of a bucket...again not homemade. The decor was fantastic. We received an advertisement in the mail which is how we found out about The Lodge.

We liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. It definitely feels like a Wisconsin Lodge.

Staff were all very friendly. Good service overall.

They had a good selection of beers including a bourbon barrel aged stout.

The beer battered cod average, but I liked the spicy slaw. The loaded tater tots could use a bit more toppings. My wife wasn’t unhappy with the Wisconsin pub burger, but thought was just so-so.

They have a good atmosphere and service, we weren’t very impressed with the food.

I stopped in for the first time recently since I live in Muskego to try it out. The environment is great as I love the Northwoods vibe. I got a brandy old fashioned which seemed flat overall. I ordered the fricken chicken sandwich and the presentation was great but lacking in any type of seasoning. The service was great and I really enjoyed the mozzarella sticks however. I originally popped in there on a Thursday evening only to be told it was an 1 hour to an 1.5 hour wait so my friends and I went and ate at another Muskego spot. The experience was just middle of the road for me personally.

We had a terrible service experience while dining on Feb 4 2023 during the dinner hours of 6-7:50 pm ish. Now I can appreciate the fact that it was busy and I’m a very patient person, however, our dinner and drink orders were wrong and/ or missed several times. Our waitress barely came to our table and we had to ask multiple times for other employees to flag her down for us. Upon receiving the bill, no joke, we were charged for the drink orders that were wrong! Because we needed to leave as we needed to be somewhere, we didn’t have time for her to clear up the errors on the bill. We were already approaching a nearly 2 hour experience as it was. Please teach your waitstaff that if drink orders are wrong, the customer should not be charged!

We ate here the other day as a party of 5, 4 different dishes between us. The food was really bad. Everything that was fried tasted like the grease hadn’t been cleaned in a year. The chicken that came with the wedge salad had a horrendous amount of salt. I really wouldn’t ever eat here again, even in a pinch. The beer selection looked ok and the building is nice.

Very cute inside. Good happy hour and drink specials. Sadly the food needs work. Burger was very over cooked. The chicken bites appetizers (can't remember the exact name of them)were horrible. This place is freakin' phenomenal. Fish fry was very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The $5 old fashioneds were amazing and the price is just unbeatable. Went there for the first time last night. Didn't come away very impressed. Ordered 4 old fashions which is one of their specials. three sour and one sweet, two with olives and two fruit. All four came back sweet and no olives in any. She did say she would go get some olives but never brought any back. I would also say it was very hard to taste any alcohol in any of the drinks. The second round of drinks didn't go any better. Fish fry was just average, Black bean burger was dry and came with no type of sauce. Hamburger and cheese steak were good. Over all a nice place but not one you would say lets go back. Average drinks and fish fry and service by our waitress (I'm sure not all) was not good.
