Absolutely fantastic! We’ve been here a few times with friends and family, and it’s truly a local treasure. We even had some golfers stop by the course today asking for a good spot, and I told them they had to check this place out. They weren’t disappointed! I have been here once before, and today myself and four of my other friends who have never been there came to have lunch right when they opened. Two of us ordered the original smash burgers, with fries. Came with a great onion ring, and a cheese curd which was amazing. We both thought they were the best smash burgers we’ve had so far And comparing them to other restaurants. My other friend ordered the 12 inch barbecue chicken pizza which she could not stop eating. She said it was fabulous. One ordered the Reuben with fries and the other had the steak salad. We are extra to take home, so definitely will be back again

Newer spot opened up earlier this year. Have taken the family in. Went to just have drinks a few times. I’d say I’ve been there 5-6 times and it’s been fantastic each time. I recommend the steak and avocado wrap! Good spot. Great atmosphere. Bartenders even laughed at my terrible dad jokes. Highly recommend!

The Millhouse is such a great addition to Merton! The location is perfect, the waitstaff is always so friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. I moved into the area 20 years ago. I’ve eaten many times in this building over the years with all the previous owners. Today I had the Bacon Jam Smash Burger and can finally say that I had food good enough to actually recommend to someone to go eat here. The burger was perfect, seriously perfect and I am very picky. The fact that it was still mouth hot when I took my last bite says a lot about how hot the grill was for this smash burger…exactly what you need to get the best sear. Highly recommended.

New place in Merton. It's been bought by someone who has a good cooking and wait staff. The only bummer was , we all wanted a bigger portion of the pretzel bits ha ha, they were very tasty!!! Hope there's continued quality next time!

We were excited to visit this restaurant as we have been very impressed with Angel Share's hospitality group's other locations. However, we weren't impressed. We visited early on a Friday and sat at the bar. We had to ask for a drink menu. When our food was brought out we had no silverware and had to ask a server behind us. My husband had the perch and found it to be dry. We believe it might have been shift change and there were about three people behind the bar yet no one asked if we needed anything until we were done eating. There seemed to be tension between two of the bartenders. One almost slipped and fell. She asked the others who had spilled something and the person who did, did not show any concern for her coworker. We were very happy that she did not actually fall, but it sure looked as if she was going to. The atmosphere was full of tension. Unsure we will come back.

I absolutely loved the food. The batters used for the cheese curds and fish fry were absolutely delicious. I’m usually not a big fan of thicker fries, but these were cut in a way that let me enjoy the seasoning and not have a mouth full of potato after a bite. Try the hibiscus drink if you enjoy a summery cucumber fresh drink. It was so refreshing and light.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but this experience felt like it deserved some time to appreciate the service and food. If you’re in the area, treat yourself!

Tried The Millstone for some takeout this weekend. It was...ok. I've been going to this locations reincarnations for 30 years and each new life brings something different.

The good: The patio looks amazing and was a badly needed upgrade. They also did a fantastic job sprucing up the inside decor. Staff was very friendly. Order was placed online at about 6:40pm on a Saturday and was ready about 25 minutes later.

The *meh*...: We tried their 16" stone supreme pizza ($24.95) and the beer cheese dip ($9.95) with pretzel bite upgrade ($2.00)
We live less than a mile away and picked the food up with in 2 minutes of getting a text notification that it was ready.

The pizza was "ok". Not the best in Lake Country by any stretch of the imagination. Sauce was so-so and amount of toppings was average. The crust was disappointing. It had the texture similar to a toasted pita rather than a thin pizza crust. Firm, but not crispy, if that makes sense.

Beer dip and pretzels. The beer cheese is REALLY good. So good I was dipping the pizza in it. The pretzel however, I was really disappointed to open the to-go container to see what was essentially a hot pretzel (like the kind you buy out of the warmer at a baseball game) cut into about 12 pieces, which started dry out rather quickly. The beer cheese usually comes with just tortilla chips. It would have been nice to get the chips AND the pretzels, just so we could use up the beer cheese, which was a disproportionate amount to the pretzel bites "upgrade".

I call'em as I see'em. I have a fondness for this location regardless of the tenant and will certainly be back. The menu items, especially the sandwich/ burger offerings look fantastic. Their Friday Fish Fry is also ALWAYS packed, which I would venture is a good sign. Although this won't be my go to spot for pizza, I will most definitely be back to try other menu items.

Just finished dinner here with the the family for Mother's Day. Food was excellent! Their unique fries (like thinner-cut steak fries) were really good.
Our server (Bryce) was quick with refills and the bussers were on top of clearing empty plates.

We had an absolutely amazing experience here! Our group of 20 hungry baseball players showed up without any notice, and the staff immediately jumped into action. They quickly rearranged tables to fit us all comfortably, asked when our next game was to make sure we stayed on schedule, and even separated the checks by player number — making everything so easy and efficient. On top of the incredible service, the food was absolutely delicious! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend for both the fantastic hospitality and the great food!

Party of 4 ordered apps Philly rolls and cheese curds. Both were good. Rueben sandwich stringy and tough, smash burger good chicken sandwich good. We ordered boneless wings as a to go order at the same time we ordered food. We got bone in wings and were told it would be 20 min to correct their mistake. We were not offered a discount so we decided to take the bone in wings. Worst chicken wings I’ve ever had. Not fully cooked and flavorless. Apps and fries were best part of the meal overall. I got the Bourbon glazed chicken wrap. It was good, but there was a ton of sauce! My husband ordered the California burger with bacon. Sadly, it didn't come with any of the toppings or sauce. Just cheese, bacon, and like 3 patties.

We pointed it out right away to the waitresses, and she checked her order instead of actually looking at the burger and said that's right. She came back later to fill our water and we said again, it wasn't right. She took it off our order, so that was nice, but still disappointed it wasn't corrected right away.

We are always looking for more local spots to try and the Millstone is right in our backyard. Located in little Merton, the business has been turned over a few times in the last years. This is our first visit and on a Thursday night we were not the only ones to enjoy the place. We sat at the bar and admired the tin ceiling and the comfortable atmosphere. Starting with a few drinks, the Millstone Old Fashioned choices are good and the drinks are strong! The Piña Fuego was not as sweet as we wanted, but thanks to Cristal, the server, she knew just how to make it as we hoped. Perfect!
I had 6 wings and sauce which were so meaty and delicious I ate them all. My friends had the Reuben and a Millstreet Burger and both were gone with no complaints. The fries are true potatoes and incredibly good too. The entire meal was great and we look forward to coming back. In the summer the front area will be open for outdoor seating.
While the business is not huge, the bar is wide and the dining area is good too. However, I expect there to be a wait if we come on Fridays and Saturdays. It's worth the wait.
I highly recommend this place. As you wait for your table take a walk through the town and visit the cute stores on the main street, right outside the front door.

The Double Smash Burger is delicious. The Baked Cod had a weird taste, I could not finish it. The kitchen lost my Togo order of a Double Smash burger and Fries. I had already paid my dinner bill including the cost of the smash burger, so there was nothing else I could do but wait for to kitchen to make another. Other persons in our group that ate with us and also had Takeout orders, had to wait with me. Their food for other family members would need to be reheated because of the delay. Next time I go there, I will order the Perch Fish Fry, one in our group said it was very good.
