Well lit, spacious, interesting and flavorful food and drink menu. Their cheese sticks are amazing... they've got a crispy thin batter on the outside and delicious cheese curd inside, but they're mozzarella stick shaped and served with a Chipotle ish aioli. It's the best possible combo of all deep-fried cheeses. Yum. I'll definitely be back!

It’s so cute!! Very trendy, think ironworks & greenery. The staff was super friendly and eager to help; Haley made me a horchata coffee with a shot of Jameson and it was delicious.

Jordan was very sweet and helped us as well!

The staff is excellent! Very attentive, kind, and welcoming. The space is bright and open. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get some work done outside the office or brunch with the girls! This is a perfect spot.

Kayla was an excellent server! The food and atmosphere are bright, friendly, and delicious. I would highly recommend as a breakfast or brunch spot if you’re trying to get a little work done or eating with friends. So glad we have this spot right downtown!

Food was very good. Enjoyed the different selections for breakfast/brunch, they were outside the norm of regular breakfast offerings. Would recommend some kind of version of eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce to be on the menu as well. Definately will be returning in the near future.

I really wanted to love it. Ordered the berry crepes. They were supposed to be stuffed with marcapone but apparently they “changed that”. It was a crepe with over sugared fruit on top. Couldn’t even eat it. Marcapone would have cut the sweetness. Would have been nice to be informed of the change.

I got the avocado toast (without the egg). The two pieces of toast were very very small especially for the price. I went to pick it up and it was completely soggy. The bread was not toasted very much if at all or they made it and it sat. I ate it with a fork and it was nothing special as far as taste goes. I enjoyed the fruit cup. I was still hungry. It felt like a snack. Our server was very nice. The place is new, but it did not feel new on the inside. Table and chairs looked old. I just did not enjoy the atmosphere. And while I understand this is not the fault of the restaurant there were also homeless people outside across the street. One who was yelling at people when they tried to cross the street. I had to park strategically so that I would not have to walk past them and get yelled at. I did not enjoy my experience as a whole.

Order chilaqiuiles Flight with chorizo and waitress came back saying sorry we don't have chorizo , steak or chicken so I said steak I'm like oh good steaks going to be delicious right so she brings my plate back and it looks so nice and I thought my steak was going to be nice and cooked but it wasn't it was not even chewable it was so hard it's like chewing shoe leather so I told the waitress about it that it was barely chewable and you think she would say I'll take it back and have him grill it more but she didn't even try saying that , that's the only problem we had is the steak it was so unchewable and to top it off my husband's Burger triple treat his meat the same the steak was so unchewable he left like about four big pieces cuz he couldn't chew no more that was so sad and the waitress knew about it but didn't do nothing about it you know offered to take the plates back so they could grill the meat more. 😢😢..

I had the The Chilaquiles Bowl with chorizo added. They forgot the chorizo but the server was great about it, and it was good without it. This place has very unique dishes. Come here if you’re looking to try something different. I came for lunch, but it was more of a brunch/breakfast menu.

New place still working out the kinks.
I ordered the veggie potatoes with chorizo. It definitely needs more veggies—there were just a few small pieces. It also didn’t come with cheese, which would’ve helped the flavor. I asked for sour cream, and they brought what they said was crema, but it was basically whipping cream.

I also tried the small yogurt bowl, which was delicious! My kids loved their food too, and the coffee was really good. All of the fruit was super fresh and flavorful.

My husband got the chocolate banana crepes. He said the crepes were great and the bananas were caramelized perfectly, but he was disappointed they used Hershey’s syrup, especially considering how expensive the dish was.

Our server was just okay, but not very attentive, and we had to flag down someone else for water and coffee. That said, the manager comped us and genuinely listened to our feedback. Another staff member (maybe a supervisor?) was very kind and helpful.

I ordered the avocado toast with scrambled egg on top. It was delicious. I'm a vegetarian, so I appreciated the many vegetarian options on the menu. The jamaica drink (made with hibiscus petals) was delicious and refreshing. My sister loved the citrus-y salad dressing and the red salsa and green salsa that came with her chilaquiles. Highly recommend.

First time in the restaurant. Staff were spectacular. Place was clean. Disappointed they only serviced breakfast. Food was so, so. They didn’t have three of the dishes on the menu and it was a Wednesday at 11:15, it is hard to find parking. Just don’t think I would go back again. A lot of homeless walking around. Dirt on paper napkins when we first sat down. A group of four came in looked at menu and left because it is all breakfast food.

Tried this new place with my wife this weekend, place has a weird vibe I can't put my finger on.....?? I had the Mexi muffin Benedict, which had a sauce on top with a weird acidic sour taste. My wife had the crepes and said they were OK. The service was great.However don't know if I'd come back as it is a little pricey.

I think they are technically in the soft opening phase. The menu is unique and extensive with basic brunch options complemented by Mexican-influenced originals and a few special entrees. We all enjoyed our food immensely, the portions are generous, and there are many more things I hope to try. With several coffees and a bar for beverage selections
Our server and the service were top notch. We were offered churros to sample, and I cannot wait to go back just to place an order for a sweet snack. Prices were more than fair for the quality and quantity, but may be a bit higher than some basic breakfast spots. I hope they are a Racine staple for a long time.

The food was amazing we had the milanesa breakfast sandwich and the classic platter.
Very big portions with really great coffee. Service was amazing.
Roughly 35 for 2 people so average price for a nicer breakfast place.

By chance I happened to stop at The New Cafe, immediately greeted and offered a table or bar seat, loved the fast service to drop off a bottle of water - ordered the Chilaquiles with chorizo trio... insanely large portions and a great price! Enough for 3 people to be honest.
Great service, great vibe, didnt even realize we stopped in pre-opening!
