They have this weird seating system in which they require everyone to sit and place their order at the bar, regardless of how many tables are available in the dining room and regardless of whether you have a reservation. They don’t seat you until after you’ve ordered. It took a very long time before anyone took our order and an even longer time until we were seated at our table. Food was ok. I had to get my own glass of water from the serving area because the waitress never brought it. We wondered how they got such high ratings on Google. That mystery was solved when the bill came. There was a card that said anyone who gives them a 5 star rating would be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card. Call me “old fashioned”, but I don’t think restaurants should be able to buy ratings.

Independent restaurants have it tough right now. Folks don't have the money to go out, or they stick to familiar chains. I love independent restaurants, and I adore supper clubs, in particular. This one was very disappointing. I don't mind that they make you sit at the bar and order drinks while looking at the menu--the best supper club in MIlwaukee (5 O'Clock AKA: the old Coerpers) does that as well. It's part of the experience, and I get that. That's fine. I really thought it was cool that they give you a little laminated salad order form and a dry-erase marker so you can customize your own salad. What I didn't love was that the bartender didn't know how to make a Tom Collins (granted, that's an older-style drink, but still well within the Supper Club fare). But at least he tried his best and didn't charge us for it. That was kind. But it took kind of forever between us sitting at the bar and eventually ordering. Then it took another forever between ordering and being seated. Salads were already at our table when we arrived, which was nice. It was probably 30 or 40 minutes between finishing our salads and our entrees being served. The whole place seemed understaffed--but I have to give respect to the servers that were there; they were moving fast! But they weren't very attentive at all. From the time we sat down at the table, we were not asked if we wanted anything to drink (granted, I had a drink, but my husband did not have anything). No bread, no relish tray as we were supposed to get. Eventually, after more than an hour since we walked in, we were served our entrees, which was when we were finally asked if we wanted beverages. They were OK, but just OK. The bill came promptly at the end of dinner, and I like that you can use your phone to pay if you want. I asked if we were supposed to get a relish tray (that's one of my favorite parts of the Supper Club experience), and the server told us that they were out of almost everything--carrots, ranch dressing, etc. They mentioned that they could get me a bare-bones one to take home, which I declined (I have veggies at home, but again, it's the experience). The server also said they were busier than anticipated and had run out of ribeye, prime rib, and beef tips as well. They asked if we'd like to order dessert, and I might have if I had any confidence that it wouldn't take another 40 minutes to arrive. So we departed. The hostess was nice and amicable both upon arriving and upon departure--she asked how our experience was, and I was honest. Better organization, staffing, and training would probably make a world of difference for this restaurant. I hope they get it; I know times are tough. Having said that, I probably won't be back.

We had a wonderful time tonight. Enjoyed sitting at the bar, the bartender was fun and engaging. The drinks were great and in my opinion underpriced. The meals were delicious with generous servings. We had the cod and perch fish fries and the smash burger. We will definitely be back!

Or 1st visit since becoming "The Old Fashioned". Actually 4.5 or 4.8 stars is more like it. Friday night fish fry for a table of 4. Had a quick Brandy Old Fashioned at the bar...very tasty. Stevie took our dinner order at the bar while our party continued to chat and enjoy our cocktails. I guess only negative (that truly was minor) was i ordered a Southern Comfort Old- Fashioned (didn't have SoCo) so then I ordered a Korbel Old-Fashioned (didn't have Korbel) so I had the bartender (didn't ask his name) mix whatever is normally used. It tasted fine so my beverage wasn't a big deal. Stevie seated us within 15 minutes. Out came our Seafood Chowder (nice big chunks) & cheese curds (crispy batter, stringy/cheesy inside). Our Entrees were Cod, Shrimp & Lobster Alfredo. All very good. Homemade potato pancakes were cooked perfect, not too greasy or mushy. The cucumber salad was good but a little too much vinegar for my taste. Next time I'll order a salad. All in all great food, relaxing atmosphere & super staff! Definitely will be back to explore the menu.

We had such a wonderful experience here! The atmosphere was warm and inviting — a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. My prime rib was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and my husband’s smash burger was absolutely phenomenal. Our server, Stevie, was amazing — attentive, friendly, and made the whole evening even better. From the service to the food, everything exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent food, drinks and service!! We went to dinner at Old Fashioned Supper Club on Saturday, Sept. 6th to celebrate my husband’s upcoming birthday. We started out at the bar and Travis made us excellent Old Fashions (see photo) and placed our salad order and appetizer and dinner order. Shortly after that, we were seated at our table with our salads prepared to order. Our waitress Nichole then took our order for wine to go with dinner. My husband had ordered the Stuffed Portabella mushroom appetizer. Since this was a new menu item Travis had mentioned that he hadn’t had them yet. My husband was amazed at how large they were and shared one with Travis (see photo of the remaining one that my husband ate). I wanted to save room for the Prime Rib dinner that was next. When the Prime Rib arrived, both of ours was done perfectly to order and the spices on it was spectacular. We had both upgraded to the loaded mashed potatoes for the side and WOW that was absolutely fantastic as well. (see photo) Afterwards, the staff came over with a Brownie Sundae for my husband for his birthday and sang Happy Birthday! The owner, Tabitha is AWESOME! She is going over and above to give everyone the best Super Club experience ever. It was a very special and fun evening! Thank you to the entire staff!!

Everything was excellent. The bartender was on it, made great cocktails, the food was phenomenal we had the prime rib and bacon wrapped tenderloin new to the fall menu with stuffed baked potatoes, the salads were fresh and plentiful and our waitress Stevie was wonderful and very attentive. We will be back most definitely!

0 Stars. Customers must order food while sitting or in my case standing at the bar! No Korbel Brandy. No Jack Daniels. No Bulliet Bourbon. Then diners must continue to wait at the bar until a table is ready and, if ordered special, a salad is served. When the food was served, orders were all mixed up between multiple tables. Mashed potatoes replaced baked potatoes. Worst of all, the food was COLD! Not barely warm, COLD! The cod was still refrigerator cold in the middle. The carpeting has been removed resulting in an incredibly NOISY atmosphere. I'm sure they will never reach the level of food and service quality for which, No No's was famous. No No: I'm glad they changed the name! PS: I only gave it 1 star because I could not post this without it.

We have gone twice now. Love the atmosphere and vibes. First time wasn’t the best the French dip was a little too burnt on the edges for my liking and the fries were way over done, fries still tasted good though. We also tried the mashed potatoes and rolls which were delicious! BUT the 2nd time I had the Alfredo lobster & OMG ITS TO DIE FOR! Absolutely delicious on every level! I know they will be changing it up for fall but I really hope they just end up keeping the Alfredo lobster because it is wayyyy too good to change or take off the menu. Also, the salad that comes with it was one of the best salads I’ve ever had. Waitress was great & food came out very quickly.

Went out with my wife to have a nice enjoyable evening. The Old Fashioned Supper Club did not disappoint. There is definately a supper club atmosphere. The cocktails were great. First time at this supper club. It started nice, great old-fashioned drink made by bartender. Then we moved to dining room and all things stop. Waitress didn't come back to even ask if we wanted drink for 30 minutes. She bought the beers for guys and old-fashions for gals, drinks were bad,food just average. Food service was the worst I have experience. Will not be back.

Our dinner was fabulous. Chef Tabitha pays great attention to the details. From the marinated cherries in my old fashioned to the flavors penetrating deep into the prime rib to the incredibly crisp hand-cut fries, everything was delicious! Oh yeah, we’ll be back!

A 1 star was probably warranted but there is potential so 2 it is. 6pm reservations and get there about 10 min early and are handed a bill fold with build your own salad dry erase menus and a regular menu folded to the Friday menus page. We were told fill out the BYOS menu, go to the bar to get your drinks and our server would come take our order shortly for the salad and main course and you will be seated when the food is ready. Umm excuse me what? No markers to fill out the BYOS handout were given and after 15 min we were greeted by out server asked if we were the 6pm reservation and we ordered everything at that time thru her. She asked if we wanted to continue sitting in the bar area or table and we chose table. This is where the wait began. Salads were out quick for those who got them. Food didn’t arrive until 720 ish. The relish tray and bread maybe 10-15 min before the food. Blackened shrimp were some of the smallest shrimp I’ve seen and only a count of 6. Menu says a half pound not even close. They were also like warm at best, blackened seasoning was good. Cucumber salad was good along with the German potato salad, 2 fillets were ordered one had a good amount of gristle and 5-6 pieces were inedible, sucks when it’s only a 6-8oz steak. The other had none both were cooked to the temps asked for. Green beans were excellent with both, fries and mashed potatoes were good also, Blackened perch was very good and so were the breaded shrimp and broiled cod the rest of the party had. Our server was excellent and continued to check in on us and apologize for the wait. We did not complain to our server about the steak and shrimp due to the wait already but those were very disappointing. The 2 waitress were doing everything they could to get people taken care of but something was off with the kitchen and was frustrating. We never got a super club vibe just a new poorly managed restaurant with some good and bad food. For the price, wait, and food that came out I don’t think we would be back anytime soon. Nothing screamed come back again like other places do when you have a great experience. Hopefully they pull together and get on track cause it would be nice to have a supper club in the area. The wait staff deserves all the credit for the 2 star review cause kitchen and front of the house management was lacking severely.

Was not a classic supper club, no table clothes, holes in table tops, silverware was cheap, not even matching, staff has no clue what they were doing, watched them make an old fashion, squeezed the fruit with their hands, not muddled, watched the bar tender wipe the sweat off his head, then right back to making drinks, no hand washing, food was fare, not worth the money you charge, potato pancakes came out very overcooked ,will not be back. Maybe you need to go to an actual supperclub and see how its run.

Loved the old fashioned experience- order at the bar and sit when your meal is ready! Stevie, our server, was so friendly and made sure we were happy. Our filets melted in your mouth and the summer lobster pasta was light and had a great touch of lemon. Such a lovely evening!

We really wanted a supper club night. So we made the drive to the restaurant because we wanted something new.
The bartender Patty was great. We really love talking with her and the drinks were great. Then everything went downhill. We were taken to our table, wasn’t extremely busy but we weren’t in a hurry. Waitress seemed nice.
We waited patiently but it was over an hour. My wife even suggested leaving but I asked how much longer. Waitress went in the kitchen and came out saying the people on the kitchen were yelling at her when she asked. It was about another
10 minutes( 70 minutes total) .
My wife ordered a steak medium, it came rare. The waitress took it back in. My fish fry came out looking like frozen fish sticks.
Overall the kitchen was a disaster. Looking around people were frustrated, 2 tables walked out because it took so long.
Not sure what happened but very disappointed as we wanted a nice date night dinner. Don’t think we’ll go back.

We were so excited to see this place open up! We have tried twice to have meal here and both times we left after waiting almost 30min for someone to even acknowledge we were there. Today we actually sat at the bar thinking it would be easier to get someone's attention but 10min standing then over 15min sitting at the bar we couldn't get anyone to notice us when we tried to get their attention. People stepped beside us and got drinks while we continued to try to get ANYONE'S attention. We won't be back for a third try. Sad, it is a wonderfully cozy and inviting space, just wish they actually made you feel like they wanted you there.

We went to dinner at the Old Fashioned Supper club the other week, and let me tell you, the food is amazing! The prime rib was melt in your mouth delicious! One of the best flavored prime rib I have ever tasted. The lobster alfredo was to die for! Homemade noodles and creamy decadent sauce. You can tell everything is made with love and care. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. We will definitely be back! Great job!

The, Old Fashioned Supper Club is amazing! All the food is top-notch!! The staff is wonderful and the old fashions are tasty!! You’ll take a seat at the bar when you arrive. You will put in your food order at the bar And relax with a cocktail or two waiting for your table. Once you sit down your relish tray and salads will be there Followed by your main courses shortly there after. We’ve had the fish fry, Prime rib, Fillet, Chicken And the lobster pasta. Everything has been outstanding. We highly recommend trying this new place out!

My date and I had a very nice experience at the Old Fashioned. She had the supper club’s signature cocktail, a Bourbon-based Old Fashioned with maple syrup, which she reported as being maybe the best she’d ever had (lovingly crafted by Pat). We both ordered the Friday night fish fry. Breaded perch and shrimp were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Sides were on point: bright, fresh cucumber salad; crispy, salted potato pancakes; and a warmed German potato salad with a pinch of cinnamon. We’ll be back!

We have visited The Old Fashioned Supper Club twice since opening and had 2 very amazing meals! The Prime Rib was so tender to could be cut with a butter knife! We also had the seafood Alfredo was such a huge portion it could be enough for 2 meals! This is a must visit again and again!

Love the new place! Been at least 5 times while the kinks were being worked out! Tried different things each time I was in. Burger and cheese curds are all time favorite! Burger is always juicy, full of flavor. Husband is the biggest fan of the prime rib! That is his go to when we go Saturday! Never disappoints! Homemade pasta is truly the best! You can’t beat homemade! Will keep coming back! Happy to see you are opening more!
