4-star review but I gave them 5-stars because they are local and I always support local and don’t want to hurt their rating. My steak sub was tasty- but a few minor complaints… one is that the ingredients listed “fried onions” but these were totally raw onions- and a lot of them. If it said “onions” I’d have asked for them to hold them so I really don’t understand why it says “fried” there… but ok call that my mistake. Second issue was they pulverized the steak (see picture). It was chopped to oblivion so although it tasted good the texture was kind of like spam and it was hard to pick out the raw onions. Sure I could have asked them to remake it but I’m not going to run up their food costs. I think with those two tweaks (no raw onions and don’t pulverize the steak) it would have truly been 5-stars. It’s worth trying if you’re looking for something good that’s an alternative to the chains.

This is without a doubt the best place I have eaten. The sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients shipped from Philadelphia every week, the tots are full, crispy, and have a delicious flavor. The cheese steak is phenomenal, delicious and flavorful the best one I've ever had. They are a new business, spread the word and give this place a try if you are wanting a sandwich there is a massive variety to choose from and they have burgers too! Right off Kohler street in Oshkosh you wouldn't want to miss it

AWESOME! I just moved here from San Diego and this place is the REAL DEAL. First off...the bread and meat are flown in weekly from Philly! You don't get that at Jersey Mikes, Subway or any other chain. The food is prepared perfectly and the fries are cooked to perfection. Try this place and bring your friends..you'll be glad you did.

As a Philadelphian transplanted in Wisconsin, I approve! The staff, friendly. The food, great! My only complaint is don’t add extra salt to the cheesesteaks, and use a little more meat to fill the roll ends too 🙂. The use authentic Philadelphia Italian rolls. (I know this because when the box said “Lucsio’s” I asked if that’s who their primary supplier was and they said yes. My heart skipped a beat)

Jacob was working the grill and hooked me up with a recipe to add peppers and onions to the pizza cheek steak to make it a supreme. GENIUS MOVE! 10/10. Wish I could add an extra star just for that move. (Everyone working there has been enthusiastic and super friendly, so that was no surprise. The food was amazing and the workers were incredibly friendly! Very welcoming and talkative. They explained to us their menu since it was our first time going. We tried a few different sandwiches and they were all amazing! My favorite was the Spicy Mayo Cheesesteak and the tater tots were very flavorful! Never tried any like it before.

The building was small but looked cool and was well kept!

We had a great experience for dinner. The manager Jacob was extremely friendly & charismatic. First and foremost the cheesesteak was dry the cheese IS NOT AUTHENTIC AND THE MEAT IS NOT REAL MEAT!!!! that is a 100% fact! The customer service was extremely rude and their clothes didn’t even fit. There was what I believe to be poop stains on one of the workers clothes if I’m not mistaken but idk. What really killed me the most is that I brought all of my concerns to the owners attention and he brushed it off as if it was nothing. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a dog!

The cheesesteaks was great but this is my 3rd time and every time we go the fries are cold and loaded with grease and soggy. It’s as if they had been sitting under the heat lamp for hours. Workers are always touching their hat, shirt or pants and don’t change their gloves or pick up something from the floor and put it on the table where food is being made and don’t clean the table off. One shift is great to come into get your order and on point with having food ready and hot. The other shift needs more training a lot more.

I don't do reviews often, but this place exceeded our expectations. Everyone behind the counter was friendly, took great care when I mentioned an allergy and were quick to accommodate! Everything was very clean and well looked after. My husband and I both loved our sandwiches and the suggested addition of spicy ranch to my chicken bacon ranch sandwich. While I was waiting for our food to be made fresh the owner came over and struck up a conversation with me. Just a genuine person that truly cares about this business but also a kind human. We will absolutely be repeat customers.

Okay here's the deal. Bread is amazing. Steak is lacking. The tiny little mangled pieces of meat that resemble chunks of mystery meat, are not my jam. Pretty expensive for the quality and servings. Lets put the fountain drink dispenser AWAY from the bathroom and in view so customers realize they can actually buy a fountain drink.

34$ for small fry, bottled soda 3.50, small sandwich 10$ and a large sandwich 13$. Sorry, but this place doesn't compete with jersey Mike's.
Maybe I got the wrong sandwich but I have a feeling we won't be coming back again.

For what I paid, I’m honestly really disappointed. I was excited for this place to open up and had been waiting for my chance to go with my mom.

Right off the bat I noticed the person at the register, the guy must have been new because he seemed lost and like he didn’t know what he was doing at all. He kept having to call another gentleman over which is fine but if that’s the case he shouldn’t have been on the register by himself in the first place.

The next thing was the price of it all, $44 for what felt like 2 small “large” subs and these tiny “large” drinks.

The food itself was okay, nothing to write home about with super soggy fries and a chicken bacon ranch with little flavor or warm chicken for that matter.

The total wait time was roughly 30-35 minutes between the register time and the actual preparation of the food.

Overall I do not recommend this place right now, maybe when it’s more organized in the future but I don’t see myself returning anytime soon.

Came in to try the new place in town. I'll start with the goods. The service was wonderful. Friendly staff. Food was out quick and fresh. The cons. I got the Original Cheese steak with provolone cheese with a large hand cut fry. The sandwich was okay but just didn't have much flavor. Kind of bland. The hand cut fries were good, just way to salty for my liking. Over all it was okay. Especially for $22. Id expect it to taste a little better.

I ordered through Original Steaks and Hoagies mobile app. I received a message that my order would be delivered through Uber 3rd party. (I did not use the Uber app to order nor do I have the Uber app). I received a text messge giving me updates and that I could track the Uber delivery driver. It gave me a delivery time. Mind you, I placed my order at about 6pm. The delivery time kept getting pushed further and further back. I called the store. Was told my order was next to be made. More waiting. I see the Uber driver arrived at the store. I get a call from the Uber driver telling me they do not have my order at the restaurant. I asked if he could cancel the order and I would place the order again. He said sure. Instead of canceling it, he dropped the order. I call the store again. I am told that I need to cancel the order through the app. OK... looking and looking. No possible way to cancel the order on the app. I call Original Steaks and Hoagies customer service. They are closed. I call Uber delivery customer service and get an automated message saying I need to contact customer service through the Uber app BUT I do not have an Uber account or the app. 6 Uber delivery drivers assigned to my delivery I still can not cancel my order. I felt bad they were wasting their time. I called a couple of them and told them not to go but they would drop the order and another would be assigned. I decided to go to the store to get this figured out. 1 minute from the store I get a text saying my order was canceled. I go into the store and I wait for other customers already there to finish ordering. Waited about 10 minutes. Finally talk to the guy at the register. I'm not sure if he is the manager or franchise owner.. he says that it is a problem with Uber and not their own app (blaming this on Uber). So I show him exactly what I did when ordering through their app. He's got my phone in his hands. He presses the submit button and the order goes through to the store that time.. EXCEPT he submitted it as a delivery. I was charged a delivery fee and a tip even though I was AT the store. I am so frustrated but calm at this point. He said he would give me a $10 gift card and free deep fried cheese cake (which I never would have ordered in the first place). I said at least the $10 gift card would cover the delivery fee and tip i was charged for being at the store. $3.99 for a delivery fee and $4.xx for a tip was charged that time. By this point it is close to 8pm. I've wasted 2 hours on this ordeal at this point. They make my food and I walk out. As soon as I get to my car I get a text message saying my order was being assigned an Uber delivery driver. I went back into the store and waited a few minutes but there were more people in line waiting to order. By this point I was done dealing with it and mad that I was charged a delivery fee and tip on top of my food I paid for. I walk out and go home. It is a repeat of earlier that one after another Uber drivers are getting assigned. Finally at 9:15pm I get another text saying my order was canceled. I checked my bank account and both charges were still pending. 2 days later, today, I check my bank account and BOTH charges have gone through. Now im extra extra mad and annoyed with this business. I have disputed both charges with my bank and the $10 gift card can go in the trash. The food was good but the service 110% was terrible.

Disappointed. I spent nearly $30 for 2 sandwiches online. When ordering it says “minus” which I did for my husbands sandwich, but not for mine. I tripled checked to make sure they were right online because the way it says “minus” is very odd. We both received the wrong toppings (or none at all). It’s disappointing after spending that much, along with the large being WAY smaller than expecting. The flavor of the sandwiches were good and would have been great if they would have been right. Sadly, I don’t think I will be returning.

Got 2 items for a total of $20, 1 cheesesteak and a side of buffalo tots. For $13 the LARGE cheesesteak was very small, smaller than comparable sub/hoagie places and over priced. It was dry, had no seasoning and was meh. Buffalo tots, were handmade and interested but ultimately meh as well. Was cautiously optimistic about this place, 5/10. I personally will not be going back even though its was just okay.

Just had lunch here and it was a great! Ordered 3 different cheesesteaks and fries. Original, spicy with provolone. Had a mishap with one that I requested no peppers and they were kind in remaking it. They did ask me to review my order before paying, so 100% could have been my error. This place has very tasty food but their service is abysmal to be honest. Both times we ordered at work for our office lunch meetings, they put the incorrect toppings on multiple sandwiches, and even shorted us one sandwich.

When I went in for a carry out order after work I noticed that the kitchen seems very disorganized. Very long wait times. What really put me off was after waiting about 20 minutes or more for my order, they serve me French fries that have been sitting in a bowl the whole time I waited. It seems they will prepare deep fried items immediately and just let them sit there. If you are going to make me wait that long it’s okay if the food is good, but to give me cold soggy fries on top of it is pretty insulting to me.

Absolutely fantastic! The Original Steaks And Hoagies has officially become my go-to spot in Oshkosh for a cheesesteak. I ordered the classic with fried onions, and it was simply divine – the perfect ratio of tender, flavorful steak to gooey cheese on a wonderfully soft roll. And the pretzel with wiz? Don't even get me started! That creamy, cheesy dip paired perfectly with the warm, slightly salty pretzel. Seriously, if you're looking for an authentic and delicious cheesesteak experience (and a killer pretzel on the side!), look no further. Five stars all the way!
