Spent a few hours here on a Sunday as we waited for our hotel room to be ready. The concept of the tap wall is so fun! Great way to try beer you might not otherwise try. I also have to give props to the amazing Bloody Mary they make!! So good! We did have a couple appetizers and entrees. All the food was good and the staff were all very attentive and friendly.

First time here my wife, son, father and me tie 72 taps were unbelievable my wife and father had beer and my son and I had aquamarine drinks they were really good, we ordered fried pickles, beer battered onion rings and Parmesan garlic cheese curds which were all really good but for the money they were the quantity was really poor about 7 onion rings, 4 fried pickle spears and maybe a dozen small cheese curds all poor quantities, Jessica was a great hostess and bartender she was very polite and friendly, we will definitely be back but hopefully they change the quanity of the appetizers.

Didn't eat here. Weird atmosphere, no menu to look at until you setup an account so you can see it on your phone! Ugh. Person at front said there were GF options. Nope. All they have is flatbeeads and fried things. If you trust you can get a big automated place like this to bring you a GF, uncontaminated flatbread, then maybe youll like it. On top of that bad initial experience, the patio did not look all that inviting. Was hoping for a nice Riverview patio where we could relax and dine on some real food. This is not the place for that. If you want beer and wing you order on your phone, this might be your place.

We have NEVER had a bad experience, for ANYTHING! Everything is clean. The food, the people, the bathrooms, the restaurant itself. We literally cannot complain. The staff is very informative and friendly! It is a little bit of a learning curve to learn the drinking system, but once I figured it out, I was doing 1oz of all the ones I wanted to try! It also has an awesome trivia night. The picture attached is the patio outside, which is beautiful. Love them!!

They had a great outdoor space for a group of 10 with young kids to run and play.

They were easily and more than willing to help accommodate food allergies (egg, peanut, and tree nuts) and were very careful about the potential for cross contamination (swapping out a sauce since it was right next to another with nuts)!

This was a lot of fun because it was a new type of drinking experience. It's a self service beer tap, where you pay by the ounce, 1 oz at a time. Ranges from $0.86 per ounce, to $1+ per ounce. But you can try them all if you want. The food was delicious (especially the pancake cheese curds with maple syrup!!!) we had two different kinds of flatbread pizza, boneless wings, pancake battered cheese curds, and the Bavarian pretzel. Everything was delicious, my ONLY dislike was the pretzel had too much garlic and the cheese sauce wasn't very good. The kitchen offerings are pretty limited (you are not getting a steak here, not a burger) But overall this place is incredible!!

Very unique experience and a lot of fun. An amazing array of beers that you pour yourself.
First go to the front desk. They look at your drivers license get a credit card in their system. You add your phone number in their system and then they hand you a red card (like a credit card) that you use to get the drinks. Each card has a maximum of 64 ounces. So if there’s two of you and you’re gonna have a really good time, you might get two cards, one for each person. 😀
They will explain how the system works once you’re there.
Pick out the size glass you want. Get your beer, and find a table. They have both inside and outside deck seating.
On the table is a code to scan with your phone. Then you get a link to the menu where you can put in an order. A very efficient system.
The staff were wonderful and very helpful and the taproom is very clean. The food was also very good.

We loved this Brewery! One of our favorite stops on a recent Brewery/distillery road trip stops. The atmosphere was relaxing with a beautiful view of the river. Generally, we like coming here, the food is good, the service, if and when you need it is decent too. The margarita flatbread description is: (Topped with fresh tomatoes, creamy mozzarella cheese, and fragrant basil, all drizzled with a touch of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic drizzle on a perfectly crispy flatbread.) It actually is not topped with tomatoes at all, the flatbread is covered with with "what I assume is a homemade" tomato sauce which is loaded with onions, then layered with mozzarella cheese & basil. Based on the menu description & the fact that most margarita flatbreads do not contain onion, I didn't ask if it did. I could not eat it due to having an onion allergy, so my husband ate it- the description should be more accurate. The pancake cheese curds, those were phenomenal & the self pour tap was a great selection. So 4 stars instead of 5 due to the misleading food description.

While the atmosphere was great and the beer selection was never-ending, our group was left with something to be desired. Somehow the ordering cite was not intuitive and our group ordered more items than we intended. The host was helpful in fixing this. Our food showed up in 10-15 minute increments, despite ordering at the same time. Our last item of food arrived almost 45 minutes after placing the order. Very different concept, first time there and the process wasn't explained very well at first. You check in with a credit card, your name and phone number. You then receive a text with a link to their site. The QR code option wouldn't scan on my phone, so I didn't think I could purchase anything. When I brought this to the attention of someone that worked there, they said that was only if you were going to order food or a mixed drink. I could just walk up to one of the Taps and get a beer with the card they gave me. That information would have been handy in the first place.

Wow! Wow, wow, wow! This place is dangerous - in a good way. Off the charts variety of beverages. Nice and helpful staff. Super-savvy dispensing system. They use QR codes and tap-to-activate, but it didn’t feel intimidating - just ask questions if you’re timid regarding how everything works. Super fun open ambiance and well-lit interior. It was a fun and interesting experience in downtown EC. Our group had a great time pouring our own assorted flights. The selection is obviously outstanding and made the entire experience a fun experiment in taste testing. The pickle beer was the talk of the table.

The tots could have a bit crispier, but the flatbreads were pretty good. I think most patrons, including ourselves, were finding it hard to navigate around the taproom. The room we were in could have had a table or two removed to make it easier to move around. If you have mobility issues, I might wait for the outdoor patio to be finished.

Very tasty food and the customization options are really fun. Would have liked a little more filling in the spinach empanadas but really good overall. Overall great atmosphere would come back here any time we're in town.

The Phoenix Taproom and Kitchen is a beautiful spot nestled up to the Chippewa River. Warm greetings from the wonderful staff as you walk in and learn about how to navigate your experience. The tap wall is amazing with a selection that’s sure to please everyone and if that doesn’t the cocktail bar definitely will. We tried an array of foods from the kitchen and they were all outstanding. Margarita flatbread and the bruschetta with goat cheese, pistachios, and hot honey were a couple of my personal favorites. Very excited for the patio to be open. We will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful new space! We loved being able to self-pour and try out such a diverse selection of beverages. We also enjoyed a coconut rum & tequila margarita and a smoking old-fashioned from their full cocktail bar that were so good too. Our party sampled a variety of tasty food dishes with favorites including unique flatbreads, bruschetta and tot flights. In addition to the great atmosphere, which includes views of the Chippewa River, the staff were so very welcoming and hospitable. A memorable experience and we can’t wait to visit again soon!

It is an absolutely great experience! The decor is super stylish, perfect for hanging out. They've got an amazing selection of taps and food, so there's always something new to try. The staff are awesome—really friendly and helpful. Plus, you get a beautiful view of the Chippewa River while you enjoy your drink. Definitely worth a visit!

Excellent spot and what needed downtown! Eau Claire needs more river advantages plus with a patio and dining! The patio is not done but can’t wait for the patio to open. Atmosphere is amazing and quality is great. Give the staff a break but they did wonderful job! The food is great and the selection of beers is the best in the area! Definitely recommend going and exploring the menu.

Great selection on drinks
From beer to cocktails (do wish there were more varietals of lagers and porters)
Atmosphere is very nice and great potential with an outdoor patio by the river.
For the food we had the bri and apple bruschetta, Mexican corn brischetta, and the truffle tots.
All bruschetta is served on a small version of TX toast so the durability of the bite is compromised.
As for the toppings I'm hoping to see better progress as they work out their kinks. It's a small kitchen and I give credit for having a more vast menu in the space they have available. Some fine tuning on presentation and descriptions for the kitchen would be welcome.
No real server which is fine by me get everything through a link and a QR code for your table is quick and convenient.
I look forward to seeing how they improve in the next few months.

This place is just what Eau Claire needed. Amazing vibe and atmosphere, I’m not a beer drinker but the cocktails on tap (i had both the tequila margarita and vodka lemonde and they were great) and the full bar provides a great variety ! The staff were supper welcoming and provided great service. I enjoyed a salad and my partners made his own sandwich that he loved !
