Physically inaccessible. What is the point of a ramp when you have step to get in?? Just put a sign out front “no wheelchair users allowed!” It’s obviously very purposefully misrepresented since there are pictures of a ramp but none of the actual door. I can’t imagine believing you’re above the law and don’t need to follow the Americans with Disabilities Act and just make a decision to actively discriminate against disabled people. Absolutely disgusting.

The kicker: take the time to EAT IN the restaurant!! We had a delicious meal at the restaurant that totally resurrected itself from my last review. I will be back because of how delicious and fresh our meal was!! Great customer service as well!!! Our salad and sub were amazing!!

Wow, was I DISAPPOINTED.
First, we got less than $30 of food, used a coupon for $15 for $30 and still had to pay a full $15 (dispute not buying $30 of actual food- it should be half of what you buy but this isn’t my real issue).
I got the guacamole chicken bacon wrap- WHAT A SCAM. I didn’t read the fine print and realized upon my first bite, that there is NO ACTUAL GUACAMOLE ON THIS WRAP. It’s guacamole mayo- overall, it was very, very bland. Pasta was mid and chips came in a weird, greasy tied bag that made me uncomfortable.
I don’t think I’ll be back. Can’t believe how high the ratings are.

Wrap had no cheese, a bucket full of lettuce and absolutely tasteless. The huge sandwich (8") was soggy and impossible to eat. Not really so great. Kettle chips with sandwich in a styrofoam box so they were not so crisp by the time eaten. Thought the chips would be in a bag.

Tried the roast beef. I am simply not a fan of cooked and seasoned roast beef. I much prefer it rare and unseasoned. The portions are huge. One 8" sandwich was too much for two small framed people, good thing we shared. We probably would have eaten more if we liked the sandwich.

Stopped in for lunch on my break. Seated right away, I had the Arizona BBQ southwest wrap, Dead ends, and a side of pasta salad. A+ across the board! Great atmosphere, great service (Laura was my server and she was awesome!), and the food was excellent! Our first visit to The Picnic Basket was better than expected. The serve subs and sandwiches, but the place itself is cozier than your typical fast food sub shop. Being middle of winter, however, it was chilly inside and we had to leave our coats on throughout the meal. The food was SO good, and the waitress anticipated our needs and was present just the right amount of time. I would highly recommend this place for a casual dinner and get-together.

Update: We've been to the Picnic Basket at least 7 or 8 times since the last review, and happy to say, service and food were of the same quality each visit. We've also had a meal or two there on chilly days, with no recurrence of the cold during the meal, so perhaps there was something off with their heating on our first trip there. I still recommend this place highly, and have passed my recommendations on to friends as well.

I love this place so much! Hands down one of the best sandwich shops you will ever go to. The subs are massive and very reasonably priced. Everything is very fresh and it shows in the quality of the food. The service is top notch, they are always walking around checking on all the tables. The food comes out hot or cold rather quickly. It's a great atmosphere by yourself or with company. They always have some really cool specials so there is always something new to try! The “breakup cake” is my kids favorite and probably mine as well, great treat after a great meal. Biggest reason for this 5 star review is my server from lunch today. She was extremely polite, referred to me as “Sir”(totally not necessary for me, but it was a nice touch), and attentive. Service like that is not as common as it once was.
