We ordered 2 shrimp plates through DoorDash. DoorDash waited a long time to pick up our order to be delivered a mile away. It was not DoorDash's fault. It's the restaurants fault. Yes, it's a Friday night and it's fish fry night but we are customers too and deserve our food in a reasonable amount of time just like they do in the restaurant This didn't happen. It seems they waited until the people in the restaurant got there food first and we were just the last to be served. This was an unacceptable amount of time. Probably won't order or go here again because of this. It's a shame too because they have really good food. I called and was told there's been a slight delay. This was more than a slight delay!!! Moving forward, I hope that The Ravine treats people that order food to be delivered are treated with more respect than we were this evening. Remember, WE ARE PAYING CUSTOMERS TOO! (and we pay more because of the DoorDash) The Door Dasher reported it too.

I was carded, which is fine, I get I look young. However. It was my birthday and I turned THIRTY TWO. 32. And was refused service because “I looked young and my Michigan ID looked fake”. She said she’d never see a Michigan id before. Ever. I live two hours away. How? My friend who is over 40 Pulled out her id to show the comparison and I was still refused service. I literally have a liquor license I carry on me. Which you can’t have. Unless you’re twenty one! What a joke this place was.

We read all the great reviews and decided to give it a go. So glad we did! Had a seat at the bar and were immediately welcomed by Tammy. Pleasant and professional, she made us feel welcome as if we were regulars! Quick to get us our cocktails and showed us the menu specials. We had the broasted chicken plate, all white meat that came with choice of potato (had the mashed with gravy), stuffing, cole slaw and dinner roll. It was FANTASTIC!! Also had the perch plate with choice of potato, cole slaw and buttered rye bread. It was EXCELLENT! We've tried every fish fry in the area and this was the best!! Prices were very reasonable and service was fast! The place was busy on a Friday night, but our food was served within 15 minutes of ordering!! This place is now top of our list. Highly recommend! We'll be back!

The worst service ever. Asked for drink and they brought something different and when we said something they said well, this is cheaper.
Ordered soup, asked for it before meal, soup did not come till food was brought. When we mentioned not wanting the soup now since all our food is here our server rolled her eyes at us. The Ravine has absolutely delicious broasted chicken served with choice of potato, dressing, coleslaw and a dinner roll served DAILY! All for $12.99!

I ordered the chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, and in case you’re wondering, yes you can order a soup bowl size of gravy if you wanted. The chicken came out piping hot and was so moist. The breading was a perfect thickness and was lightly seasoned. The mashed potatoes and stuffing are the classics that you get during a wedding. The coleslaw was like KFC’s which is a win in my book.

To drink, I had a whiskey old fashioned sweet which was perfection. It was muddled and strong!

The broasted chicken is on special along with their baked chicken (which is also so good…I had it at a wedding) on Sundays and Wednesdays for $11.99.

I had the broasted chicken. Chicken was fairly crispy and somewhat juicy. Seasoning was lacking. 1 out of the 4 pieces was very pink near the bone, which is just bad luck as the rest of the same piece was fully cooked. Service was decent.Boxes offered. Waiter was fast and polite. Great place to stop at for a casual meal, however there is a banquet hall for formal occasions.

We ordered a pizza. Marilyn was our waitress and she was so nice. Even though our pizza was done too much the toppings were good. They have alot of specials here, but we were here from a hospital break and were staying across the road at the AmericInn. I recommend this place if you are here for that type of stay. Marilyn was very friendly..the whole place is super clean. It looks like it is a quite popular "regulars" place which is a good thing. Lots of tables and bar stools space.

An employee from The Ravine stole my phone and I had to call the police.

This happened in 2022, I am just now leaving a review because someone asked me if I would recommend this place recently. I was having fun at my sister in laws wedding, drinking and dancing and at some point, I must’ve left my phone at a table or something. When we left to go home, I was really tired and went straight to bed. When I woke up, I noticed my phone was gone. I checked the “find my” app on my watch and it said it was at a weird address I had never been to. I called the non emergency line and the cop went to the address. I was able to get my phone back but they told me an employee took my phone home and was supposedly going to return it back to the ravine the following day. I highly doubt that.

So be careful with your belongings when going to a wedding at this place. I am glad the police was able to help me get my phone back.

Ordered food from The Ravine for delivery via Eat Street. Order placed at 4:13. If was confirmed by the Ravine. My husband got a text at 5:00 that our food was on its way. At 5:40 we called The Ravine to let them know we haven't received our food yet. The girl who answered the phone said our order was cancelled and our money was refunded. She said you should have received an EMail.
What?? Why on earth would you send an email and not a text or even a courtesy call. Who monitors their email 24/7. So here we sit 6:00 and no food. Yes, Eat Street is just as responsible as the Ravine. We will never order from Eat Street or The Ravine again. I would give zero stars if it would let me.

Ordered a steak and I asked how it was cooked, I was told grilled (a flat top is not a grill). and I got a brin soaked peace of what I think was beef that tasted like it was soaking in a bucket next to the dish sink. I ate the aluminum foiled potato after taking 1 bite of that destroyed peace of meat. There were mixed vegetables but they looked like they were straight out of a can and either boiled or microwaved. The server after seeing what was almost all of the "steak" she didn't even inquire as of why there was so much "steak" left on the plate. I asked for my bill and left.
Nice service, nice atmosphere, I would not eat there, drinks only. You'll get better food in a village in a third world country, trust me I know.

Burger was greasy, breaded mushrooms greasey an tasted like water, had to flag down waitress 4 times to come to table..she never came on her own...her name is Anastasia and she is a poor waitess. Then my 86 yr old dad goes to talk to bartender and a drunk customer started getting verbally abusive to my dad, bartender did nothing! As i got up my burger fell on the floor and another waitress says oh no, and that was it!!! I wont go back again and neither will my family! Not a friendly place at all! And now its july 5 and still no response to email i sent on june 20. And now its july 12 and still no responce to email. Very poor responding.

I ate with a group of five at a round table in the bar room area. The food was excellent and we had the most awesome waitress. She was hustling and came back several times to see if we needed anything. We had a drink at the table and she asked if we wanted a second. She even remembered what I had. I was totally impressed with the atmosphere and service. I find it fun to sit in a bar room area and there were more people there than I expected on a Monday night. Others must know how good the food was. I came from shopping at Festival and I have to admit I was a bit confused about finding the parking lot entrance. I could see the place but didn't know where the entrance was. I guessed and the entry was on the side street. Everything was fantastic and I certainly would go back.
