Brings back memories of the games we had when we were kids. A great place to show what kind of games we had growing up. From pinball to arcade games. Food was great and the service was great.

Y25K Millennials Unite!
You know the last time I was singing to Avril or Blink 182 besides in my car? What a dope scene!
My gal pal & I arrived at 2:45ish pm on Friday with her 7 month old baby. They were willing to give us the lunch specials (which we didn’t force upon them due to the time).

Menu:
→ hotdogs (yeah dawg, pun intended!), burgers, wraps, tenders, salads, pizzas, desserts, etc.
→ Truly, step into the 90’s/Y2K Midwest/Chicago & that is the menu.
→ Good priced; $10-20 a person (dinner is roughly $20 if upgrading sides & adding on - like myself & need some Mac & Cheese in life).

Total bill:
Two people + one seltzer + my upgrades = just a hair under $40.
Tip: $20 (remember - they split tips….)
Average cost of McDonald’s for two meals: $25-31. 👀

Yeah…. Totally worth it.

They have board games. I repeat. BOARD. GAMES!
Can someone come play with me? Jk. But like … tomorrow? Checkers?

They have an Arcade.
They apparently have bowling (eww, everyone roots for you to fail + you’re the center of attention when you’re going - but if that’s your thing, power to you!).
They have alternative servers.
They have plenty of seating for lunch time.

Did I mention the music?
I was singing every song & bobbing my head; it was as if they were playing my Apple Playlist.

What a nifty place. Highly recommend.

Duck bowling was great, unfortunately the waitress asked us if we could just get our own drinks from the bar. I guess we were not as important as her friends she was grabbing with. Too bad for her, she could of made some good money.

I've been here a few times now, with groups of friends. I love the environmental, it's very fun and easy going. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.
The food is pretty good, I got the wings for the first time and they were okay. They were on the dryer side. I also got fries, those were very good. Overall I really enjoy my experience here, the drinks are good, and I really enjoy the environment.

Reboot Social is an absolute gem in downtown Eau Claire! The food was excellent with plenty of menu options that stayed true to the theme—something for everyone without being overwhelming. The arcade and games were a huge hit with our family and gave us a chance to put down our phones and just enjoy being together.

There was something truly nostalgic about watching our kids (5, 5, and 7) light up playing pinball machines, just like we did when we were younger. On top of that, the sports on the TVs created a fun atmosphere, and the arcade itself is top-notch. We even had some good luck on the pull tabs, which added to the excitement!

We will definitely be back—this is a fantastic addition to Eau Claire’s downtown scene, and one our family is already looking forward to visiting again.

The food was moderately good for the price point. You would expect a little higher quality and more quantity for what you are paying. Service was also quite slow and lacking attentiveness.

However, this place has more to offer than food. There are a large number of different games to be played, be it arcade or board. The basement area offers a nice retro atmosphere if you're into that. It can feel packed in there really easily, and in addition can be quite loud.

Overall, would not recommend this as a place to get food or drinks, but if you're just looking for somewhere to roll in and play a few games, it does well in that category.

We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon after playing in the park, before we left Eau Claire to head home. This was the perfect spot for our family. We have three boys ages: 10, 8, and 5. They had a blast. We started out playing downstairs. They were entertained for a long time by the variety of arcade games.

We then headed upstairs to bowl. Our whole family had so much fun. While we were bowling we ordered lunch. I had the Philly cheesesteak with a side of cheese curds. These were both amazing. My husband ordered the smash burger which was good, but the cheesesteak was better. We were also delighted with our find that kids meals were half price on Sundays. Our boys got the Mac n cheese, cheese pizza, and cheeseburger slider. They all loved their food. Their meals came with fries, fresh fruit, and a drink.

If we lived closer this would be a frequent visit for us. I’d also have my kids birthday parties here.

Definitely a fun stop if you are in the Eau Claire area.

Pretty solid bar food - burger and fries and stuff. Super friendly staff.
The real star of the experience was their pinball machines - very well maintained and clean.

When I let a manager know about a game issue, he genuinely seemed to care about fixing it and played a game to confirm the issue to share with the tech.

Definitely recommend checking out and flipping a pinball game... or ten!

We came here for lunch to celebrate my partners birthday. We were recommended here since we have little kids and were told it was kid friendly. We couldn't have been more wrong. Our experience was absolutely horrible.

We had ordered our food and took out some games and coloring to do while we waited. All was fine at first. After a long wait of 50 minutes, we received only part of our order. My 4 year old was left waiting for their pizza, which didnt come until 10 minutes later.

When we started to dig into our food my partner and I found burnt pieces. My partners fried chicken was burnt crisp, amd her bun was completely charred inside. So much that she even tried to scrap some of the burnt ash off of it. My nachos were barely topped with the abundance of toppings the menu offered. The queso cheese was cold on top and a bunch of the chips on the bottom layer were burnt at the edges and corners.

If that wasn't enough to put a sour taste in our mouths (quite literally), the service that we received put it over the top for us. We were only checked in on twice and in those times, our waitress didn't refill any of our drinks (we had all just had ice waters), and stood around in the back with other waitresses while we waited to be served. She acted incredibly disinterested in what she was doing and made my partner and I both feel like she really didn't want to be our waitress or wait on us.

When she finally came back for the 2nd time, I had told her about my partners dish as well as mine and how burnt they were. I had said that the nacho plates I had seen coming out to other tables were much more loaded than mine was and that mine had been cold right away. All she said was "ooo, okay I'll ask my manager what to do." And then left. Didn't take the burnt plates, didnt apologize for the mistake, nothing. Just turned and left.

We were sitting right next to the kitchen and waitress station so I had a clear view of the happenings. Our waitress went over to the manager, they said a few words, the manager ROLLED HER EYES, and then the waitress went into the kitchen. 20 MINUTES LATER, she stopped back with a couple boxes that we had requested for our kiddos bc they were getting so antsy with the waiting (like, for over an hour and a half almost). When I asked her for an update she quickly said "oh, yeah, um, my manager said that she'd just take some off of your bill." When I asked if there was anything else they could do, bc, my partner and I were obviously extremely hungry now and wanted to eat (thats why we were here in the 1st place) all she said was "well if i were to take the plates back, then we would have to make a whole new dish just to fill the order that weve already filled." I was pissed at this answer. My partner then asked for the check, which of course, came within 5 minutes of us asking. Our bill had been discounted only for my partners food. We still ended up paying full price for mine.

We left hungry, frustrated, and extremely disappointed in the service from the waitress, the inconsiderate response to our requests for better food quality, and extremely upset at the MANAGER for rolling her eyes at us, and not holding her staff accountable to rectify a, most likely, honest mistake in the kitchen.

We will NOT be coming back here and we WILL be sharing this experience with our family and friends. Reboot Social, you have lost some valuable business. Do better.

Great place for families or friends to gather. Play board games while you dine, rent a lane for duckpin bowling, then hit the arcade. It was fun playing games from my childhood. Without a doubt below average food. Both attempts at eating there my group and I could not finish our food due to how flavorless it was. Some of their specialty mocktails/cocktails are disgusting too and frankly an insult to the tongue. Service is ehh. Not bad and not extraordinary either. The atmosphere is pretty cool. Feels like a man cave vibe. Has a few solid arcade games. Pool table is solid from the last time I’ve been there. I’d recommend to go there for a good time but, don’t rely on the food and don’t get any of the fruity drinks. You’ll have a good time if you avoid as mentioned.

Met a group here for a birthday party. It seemed like a cool place, and there's a lot to do other than eat. We left early after a group game of mini bowling and didn't go downstairs with the rest of the group but I know there were more games downstairs. My girlfriend got the pizza pocket and said it was very good, I had the smash burger and that was very good as well. My main issue is when paying by scanning the qr code on the meal receipt, you are asked to enter your tip percentage, and after receiving the receipt in email, it showed everyone in the groups receipts too. I mentioned it to one of them and they asked if I noticed the gratuity was already on the ticket, which I did not and they did not either. I feel like the waitress should've made that known and it seems a little sneaky. So they ended up getting double tipped by more than just me.

The food is very, very delicious. I usually am dissapointed with resteruant food. Im not a snob, I can just make it better at home, ok. The food here was very delicious. I just gave the food 4/5 because I ordered the cheesesteak and the bread baguette was old ot they just make it dry. No sauce or juice. The burgers were juicy and delicious!!! The fries were CRISPY and delicious. Home made and fresh pickles cucumbers. All at a good price! We will come back. The waitress was actually very sweet. It's been a long time since I've been served with kindness. THEN me and my husband has a very nostalgic experience in the arcade. It was like I went back into time and I was back in the arcade tent at the state fair when I was a teenager. My two teenage sons had a blast. They already want to go back. I taught my oldest how to play cricket on the dart board. My new favorite place. 😍

I sure do wish this place was closer to me. The restaurant is made up of the following: table seating area and bar upstairs, along with a small bowling alley. Downstairs is a retro arcade, small bar and more.

Thursday is $.50 wings and they were soooo good. And the prices on the arcade games were surprisingly cheap. $.33 per play on some of the most nostalgic game options. Anyone that grew up in the 90/00s in arcades would LOVE this place. I would bet their regular menu is delicious too. An awesome place for families with kids, a couple looking for a unique date night or anyone looking to relive their arcade days.

Time to reboot your social life, one token at a time.

A lot of cities lack that really cool place for teens, adults and old people like me to hang out. Luckily Eau Claire has plenty of those (from what I can tell) and Reboot Social is a great social place to help people mingle and meet new friends.

As we wound down from traveling all day, Reboot Social was on my radar as a place to spend the evening. Tim and I walked in and it was like being in a Chuck E Cheese but for adults. There is a bar and seating area for eating when you first walk in. Right after they, you get to the desk to get some sweet merch and other odds and ends. I debated getting this cool looking long sleeve but forgot about it by the time we left. After that though, it’s all gaming and nerding out.

Upstairs was pretty busy and packed so we headed to the basement where it was equally busy but more open to easily navigate. I noticed a coin push game and a milkcap ticket dispenser. I immediately put a few bucks into each as those are my favorite games to play. After we had our thrills on quasi-gambling, we explored the area. Tim really wanted to play darts but there was a group taking up both boards. We wandered around, looking at a few other games to play and then settled on Area: Site 4 shooting game. Tim had some left over tokens from prior visits so we just used those for this game.

Yep, this place isn’t like a Dave & Buster’s where you load up a card and use that on the machines. This one is all tokens. I am guessing this is easier to set up due to Reboot Social only having one location and having to set up a card system would probably be cost prohibtive. I didn’t take a photo of the cost of tokens but I remember thinking the amount you got for $20 was very generous. Possibly 72 tokens for $20 and something like 33 for $10?

Anyways, after playing Area: Site 4, I told Tim I wanted to go grab a beer before playing more games. We headed upstairs and grabbed a seat at the bar. We chatted with the bartender for a bit and I tried The Spotted Cow, which is a fan favorite by my friend Clark down in Central Illinois. It was good but nothing I’d rave about. After I polished that beer off, I tried this 3 Sheeps Fresh Coast beer and… I blew the tap when the bartender was pouring my drink. He ended up giving me the half beer for free since they had to swap it out with something new. Tim snagged a margarita and liked it so much that he got a second one. While we were talking, we decided to head out and grab some food at Madden.

While we didn’t spend a whole lot of time at Reboot Social, it was a really neat place. It really does feel like a good place to come with your friends to get some gaming on or to maybe meet new people as it seemed like a really popular place.

Just a side note, there is a huge amount of board games to play here, too. They seem free to play while sitting down at the dining tables. Also, there is a small bowling alley here if you want to get some gutter balls.

Great place to eat and take friends or family. You can play games provided at tables as you eat or hang out and drink. Reboot has a small menu but something for everyone. The service was okay. We ordered our appetizer Cauliflower Poppers and my toddlers meal first and then later ordered our entrées yet all food still came at once. The food was great. The appetizer was a nice healthy twist but we didn't eat as much of it because of the timing, definitely something you dont want to reheat later either. My fiancé and I like to split our dishes so we can try more new foods. I chose the Korean BBQ Fries and he had a Jalapeño Burger w/ the house fries. The one thing I dislike about fries and nachos is that usually they don't have the ingredients layered through out. Which was the case here. The umami sauce and Sriracha was delightful and just spicy enough and the steak added that well needed texture. Unfortunately after I ate the top layer there were just plain old french fries. I asked our server for some of the umami sauce to take home for my fries and she brought me Sriracha.. I honestly wondered if she new what I meant when I said umami but I didn't want to be rude. I just wished the waitstaff understood the words on the menu. Sriracha and umami. Not the same. Onto the Jalapeño burger. It was hearty and spicy and delightful. Can't go wrong with that one I ate my half in just a few bites. After dinner we went on to play arcade games and that's always a blast. Pinball, Rampage, Space Invaders. Slots, pull tabs and pool tables. They have a wide variety of games for everyone and every age. We will definitely stop again.

Went to play in the arcade. One and a quarter of a floor of arcade games and pinball stuff. Good mix of games. Despite being in a basement where it should have been cool it got hot as an oven.

The first time I went there the place was really warm. The second time they took my party's order and for some reason completely forgot to make my food. When they did finally bring it out, after everyone else was already done eating, plus it was incorrect. There was also no effort made to comp,/discount anything for the inconvenience.

I have gone here a few times and have nothing but great experiences! Tonight especially, the drinks and appetizers were amazing! I had the chips’n’dip and it was the best! It came with 3 dips: elote, pico de gallo, and queso dip!! I had the ‘orange dream’ drinks and they were sooo good! bartenders were bubbly and provided great customer service!

I brought my teenage son here for lunch awhile back and upon walking in my son asked if the place was open. (It was 11 am) The bartender said “What does it look like!” Then threw his hands up and proceeded to make fun of my son to the other staff. He was not joking and was so unbelievably rude. It was the most uncomfortable and awkward situation. For reference my son has mild special needs, so it was an innocent question on his part. He wasn’t hurting anyone and was just trying to be friendly. I was absolutely disgusted and appalled at the behavior of the staff. I will never come back to this establishment.

This was one of my son's favorite places to go. Unfortunately he passed away April 15th of 2024 at the young age of 23. Since then I started going in there and going there regularly. I love the atmosphere in Reboot and how family oriented it is but at the same time it's a great place to hang out as an adult. There are so many different and fun things to do for anyone of any age. As a place to bring your children or just date night I highly recommend checking it out.
Thank you Reboot for giving me a place to feel closer to my son Malichi. ❤️

If I could give negative stars I would.

I will NEVER go back to Reboot Social. I took my best friend out to dinner for her birthday and made her get a drink. The waitress responded with "well if she's going to drink you have to" which is fine, whatever. I explained to her that I don't drink and my friend told her I was sober. MULTIPLE TIMES after saying that the waitress kept pressuring me to have an alcoholic drink. I told her SEVERAL times that I don't drink and my friend said "she's sober" 3 or 4 times while she was STILL trying to get me to order a drink. Then she realized I was mad and tried playing it off like she was joking. Literally said "I'm just kidding" I told her it wasn't funny.

8 YEARS I have been clean and I have NEVER in my life dealt with someone pressuring me to drink like that, let alone in that kind of situation. If someone says they don't drink move on and have some respect!

Pretty nice place to eat with nice decore and good looking food but we thought the food we ordered was a little under par as the nachos were large and looked great but they were a bit salty and they lacked a bit of topping as there should a equal topping to chip or aa I like it extra topping to chip ratio, the people in my party also mentioned they over salted the fries a bit and they didn't put much cheese on the cheesy jalapeno fries, but they did do a decent job on the wraps we ordered as those were pretty good and the nacho portion looked good if you wanted some chips to snack on while drinking or gaming as they have some board games on hand. And they seemed like a lot of family's where stopping in so it might be a nice chill place to bring your family as well. But personally I hate to say I'm not sure if I would return as for the price I was not impressed with there food.

For Social Reboot to truly excel and provide a memorable experience, especially at the bar, it’s essential to invest in better training for the team. After all, the quality of service can make or break a night out. When employees are well-trained, they know how to make each guest feel special, turning a simple drink order into a warm and welcoming experience. Training should go beyond just the basics of mixing drinks—it should include how to engage with customers in a friendly and attentive way. A smile, a quick chat, or a thoughtful recommendation can make a huge difference, making guests feel like they're more than just another customer. By understanding the menu and being able to recommend drinks confidently, bartenders can connect with customers on a personal level. Regular training refreshers can help the staff stay on top of their game, especially during busy times, ensuring everyone feels looked after. Investing in this kind of training will not only make the staff more effective but also build a positive reputation for Social Reboot, making it a place people want to come back to. In the end, great service is all about creating a space where everyone feels welcome, valued, and eager to return, and better training for the team is the key to achieving that.

I got into town late and needed to get some dinner but wanted more than fast food. I called around to a few places to find that most kitchens close at 8pm. When I called Reboot a very friendly young lady answered the phone and told me their kitchen was open until 9pm and I told her that I’d be arriving at 8:55 and she said that the kitchen would still be open but the selection might be limited. When I walked in, the bartender pointed to the section of the menu that was available. I chose a Caesar salad with chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Thanks Reboot, keep up the great work!

Really enjoyed this place while breaking my boys away from the family visit. Initially they did not know what to do. The games are classic games and not with modern graphics. So they took a while to warm up to the concept. Fun little duck pin bowling game. A few pinball machines and arcades upstairs but the fun is downstairs with countless pinball machines and arcades for hours of fun. Weekly specials on food. For this day we visited they had wonderful all beef hot dogs. The jalapeño dog was delicious. The fries were awesome with a side of ranch. The beer was interesting as it was served in a plastic cup I am assuming due to the gaming aspect of this place they have had too many broken glasses. The plastic up does not do a great job with keeping the beer cold though. I do not know what the fix would be for this but definitely need a chilled glass with your ice cold beer. Besides that Molly was our server and she was very nice and accommodating.

So much fun. We came in for happy hour drinks one night and then returned the next night, where we ate dinner and stayed for another four hours playing games. Food and drinks are both good, and the beer prices are really solid. You can get a pint for less than $6. Great pinball selection (lots of newer games mixed in with a few classics), cheap and super-fun duckpin bowling, some good classic arcade machines, darts, ski-ball, pool and more. Games are affordable, so you're able to play for a pretty long time for pretty cheap. Most everything runs on house tokens - pinball machines are two tokens, arcade games and darts are usually one token. Bring quarters if you want to play pool. Duckpin bowling is paid separately, but is super affordable, especially on a half-price night. It's big enough that even if it's full of people, there's a lot of room and it's not too noisy. There are board games if you want to play with dinner. Service was very friendly and kind. Would totally come back and spend a couple of hours again!

This place is obviously not a family place nor is it a place that I would ever recommend if you’re in your 30s and not interested in hanging out with immature college aged people. We were on a double date and wanted to play duck pin bowling after dinner but as soon as we walked to the entrance, my fiancé was heckled by some guy and as soon as we walk in he’s heckled again by some drunk guy at the bar. My fiance knew he didn’t have the patience for it so we left. It destroyed the mood for the evening.

We showed up with a group of 10 which they accommodated well. Server took my order first and my wife ordered a drink after everyone was done. Somehow my order got messed up. My food didn't show up until everyone was halfway done eating theirs. My wife tried a few times to get the server's attention because they never brought her drink.
The food was bland... no flavor at all. It pretty much tasted like they threw it into some flour and then fried it. The sauce was watered down and bland as well.
Afterwards, we went to the arcade and tried to get some tokens. Our same server told us where to get them. We got $20 in tokens and drinks but less then 10mins later, someone approached us and said that there would be trouble if we didn't leave in 10mins. Apparently, the entire place became 21+ at 9pm but there were no signs and no one said said anything until we had already spent money.

I can not say enough good things about this place! My daughter keeps talking about it that’s how much fun she had! I wish every place had board games for you to play at the table while you are waiting for your food. The arcade games are cheap and there are so many options. My only gripe was the downstairs men’s bathroom was grosse and it was very hot in the arcade. Other than that we highly recommend this place!

We had a great time at ReBoot! The staff sent us downstairs which had a louder vibe but we had a large group and the kids were able to dive right in. Upstairs was more ladies back.

We had Caesar salad with chicken, loaded fries, fried chix sandwich, chicken tenders and drinks downstairs. All great!

Staff was efficient and kind. Variety of games from when I was a kid. That was the best part….sharing old games we played with my own kids.

Great established! Check it out.

The staff is subar, if that. Our family (with a six and ten year old) came here for dinner and games on a Wednesday evening. Our appetizer was out within ten minutes, great. However, the main meals took at least another 30 minutes. The server did not stop back within those 30 minutes to ask how we were doing or apologizing for the very long wait (especially since only five or so tables were there besides ours). We did not have enough time for bowling or arcade games given the wait time, so we came back the following night for the gaming. When we approached the desk for duck bowling, two coworkers were having a conversation and despite us standing there, waiting to be helped, they kept talking until I had to interrupt to be helped. We won't be coming back.

We had an event scheduled and thought things were set as communicated ane agreed upon. Come the night of the event we were asked to leave the space early and not accommodated per the verbal agreement (after being pushed into a space that was not appropriate for the event as clearly described and requested in advance). Despite the fact that it was incorrectly planned and sold on tyeir part, the staff and manager refused to acknowledge the error or correct it.

Will come again, but won't schedule a group. Come and have drinks and play games but if you want something more, buyer beware.
