Recently visited with a friend who was told he was banned after coming to the bar for the first time in over two years. The manager Chelsey was very rude and gave no reason for the ban. She said he threatened someone and I know that’s a lie. She is friends with Austin Draheim, a bartender just around the corner and he had him banned over two years ago for disagreeing with him and giving him a not so nice review because of his toxic attitude and behavior. That bar is woofs. They both are dangerous people and I will not go to either bar again. The way these bartenders have acted is exactly how Plan B/Prism and recently This Is It were forced to shut down.

I've always enjoyed stopping in when I was on tour or seeing a show in Madison. Friday was a chance to bring a new friend I made since I moved here permanently. I picked her up from work and I had her at "best Apple pie shots ever"

She's a huge music/Brit Invasion fan (as am I) so she was pumped when I told her about the place. We're all planning to get a little group of us together and go to the Riot Grrl burlesque show coming up.

Definitely one of my favorite places in Madison.

I love the Rigby!!!! Hands down one of the best places in madison, especially for karaoke. Not sure what's up with the other review, but I absolutely adore all the karaoke djs, (shoutout beef stu and ryan) they do their best to get everyone to sing, the list fills up fast, they can only do so much, and they all do a wonderful job at keeping it fun and entertaining. There's a reason I've gone back every Monday since September! Highly recommend for a fun night, not to mention they aren't charging an arm and a leg per drink like many other places downtown! Rigby forever!

The Rigby is one of bars/restaurants in Madison. It's honestly some of the best bar food I've ever had. The Mac and cheese bites are to die for and the chicken sandwich is incredible.

They also have drag bingo the first Wednesday of every month and its such a good time and Kendra is absolutely hilarious. They roasted and spanked my friend on the week of his birthday which was absolutely perfect.

Lastly their apple pie shots are so so good and their drinks are very well made and delicious. Their bartender Ryan is particularly great!

Ten out of ten, will go again.

First experienced the Rigby for Drag Bingo this month and had a blast! Pretty reasonable prices for a place in the capitol area. The french fries are unmatched and the employees were super friendly! We met the manager as well, who made a point to come up and introduce ourselves since she didn’t recognize us.

Gave this place a second chance and decided we don't care for the food. They have a bunch of activities like trivia night and other events which seem fun, so we'd go for that or a drink but not the burgers. The burgers were dry and chewy. My grilled chicken was pretty good though, and you get a lot of tator tots (or fries) with your sandwich too, but three people in my group had burgers and they were all disappointed.

This bar reminded me of The Regular Show. I was so delighted to walk in and immediately be greeted by smiles and laughter. Rigby was the sweetest and showed my friends and I a great time. Rigby invited us to thanksgiving and we shared a meal with his family. D’angelus was probably the nicest person I’ve ever encountered and he taught us all how to speak Greek. I’m now fluent in Greek and met his friend Giannis. Giannis taught me how to ball too so now I can 1v1 anybody at the school park. Thank you Rigby for an amazing time. P.S. Christmas lights made me feel some type of way and Rigby will be a officiating my wedding.

My family and I went here on 12/21/23 we had so much fun! We wanted to check out the open mic comedy, that was a bit quick, but good. It’s open mic, you know?. Bartender was the best, drinks were perfectly made, and surprisingly the food choices were quite satisfying. I saw some reviews about music. There is a boom box on the wall, go ahead and put your dollar in and play what you want to hear, no big deal. We had a great time, and will be back for sure. They are becoming racist when it is a bar that the lgbtq+ usually attend but blacks frequent there as well. When ever black people have a large crowd they refuse to play rap music. Tonight 09/14/23 there were only 5 white people there plus me a black woman and they played plenty black music. They only play rock music to make us leave if there is a large crowd. Extremely disappointed. Ordered two wraps over the phone - one chicken Caesar, and one Buffalo chicken. They both came out as chicken Caesar. Barely any lettuce, 90% spinach, and 2% chicken AND a hard piece of plastic inside my wrap. Tots were extremely greasy. I travel for a living and this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Also they didn’t specify that they were cash only, their ATM didn’t work so I had to leave and come back.

The Rigby instantly turned into our home-base while in Madison. Terry, I'm assuming the owner, is friendly and hysterical and made us feel at home the instant we sat down. Stopped in here with the fam for an afternoon drink because my partner is a Beatles fan. The bar is clean, awesome and has decent space. Terry was our bartender, and he kept our drinks flowing and was an awesome host! We met some other non-locals, and ended up having an amazing couple hours drinking! Was an AWESOME unplanned afternoon! They have blended and fusion vodkas and whiskeys! I had the blackberry whiskey and the honey habenaro whiskey! I LOVED THEM BOTH! I would have liked tables to lean on versus sitting in chairs for two hours but that might be just me.
