We've been coming to this restaurant for over 2 decades and this is the first time I have been utterly disappointed. We ate in the lounge for a shorter wait time; now we wish we would've waited for the dining room. The bartender was terrific, and the food was delicious as always, but the waitress had no idea about the menu. I ordered the Salmon Oscar dinner which should come with soup, salad, AND a side. My husband ordered the Veal Oscar dinner (Soup, salad, and side also should have been included.)
He was given only the option of salad and I had to request a side salad. Confused, we asked the waitress and was given the reply "My tablet didn't offer those options." While the food was delicious, the $34 price tag for half the expected salmon meal was a bit much. We did say something to the reservation desk and was offered a soup and salad to take home. It was nice gesture, but it was a little too late as we were already done eating, more than upset, and on our way out.

Ok, so the Roxy only has good food but Ive got to comment on the steamed muscles. They give you a choice of garlic and butter, or Cajun with adueille sausage on toast points. As i like a little spicy and cajon, i got those. Omg, those were so good. If you like spicy, and you like clams, Cajun muscles are amazing...

Second visit on a Tuesday, German night. I had the two entree sampler. Both were flavorless. The sides were worse, red cabbage was not fresh at all and tasted "old". Spaetzle was not prepared well, how do you toast Spaetzle? more like a dumpling than Spaetzle. Wife had perch, breading was thick and flavorless. Overall, food and atmosphere was worn and boring. Not coming back.

There were 3 older men bartending on Saturday night when we were there for dinner. They were so busy washing glasses and cleaning that they couldn't be bothered with decent service. This was at 8:00 pm. When washing glasses, restocking the bar, along with general cleaning take the place of good service, there is something wrong. It was the same thing with our waitress. No personality, set the food down and left. On a positive note, the food was excellent. It was delicious and perfect.

Stopped by here for a quick breakfast and boy am I glad I did! From entering you are greeted by smiling, happy people ready to seat you even without reservation. There were so many choices for breakfast items, but ultimately I decided on the build your own skillet with bacon, italian sausage, spinach, and pepper jack cheese over a bed on potatoe fried dumplings. My girlfriend got the 3 biscuits and gravy. Let me start with saying that we GREATLY underestimated the portion sizes, the skillet was phenomenal with amazing taste with every bite. The biscuits and gravy tasted amazing as well with amazing sausage gravy taste with every bite. As far as service goes, our waitress Shannon was very attentive and very enthusiastic, even with the busy atmosphere. I can't wait to return and try the dinner next time im in town. For everyone else wondering if this is worth a try, It's definitely worth it!

We love The Roxy. Solidly tasty food with an unapologetic atmosphere of old school supper club. This is not a trendy restaurant of the moment (which can be great, too), but a slice of well kept vernacular. Friendly service with consistent value and a wide selection of menu options. You will find well grounded, classic dishes, as well as some playful riffs from time to time. The portions are more than generous and the cocktails are well made. In town for the EAA airshow and decided to get away from the hoopla find some good local food. We hit the jackpot with this place. The head hostess needs to retire. Can’t handle the heat of EAA. Hope the poor gal doesn’t have a heart attack or meltdown. This was the Sunday before EAA and the was freaking out. We were going to be a few min late, so I called. I was on hold until the time we showed up. Which was 25 min. We told her we went from a group of 6 to 4. She crossed my name off. Didn’t give us a buzzer and then freaked out ever time the phone rang. My friend walked back up to check the reservation and she said.. u guys are seated already. Please please. We were celebrating my parents’ 49th anniversary, and to our surprise, the staff brought out a small cake with “Best Wishes” written on it — such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture!

Two of us had the tenderloin medallions — perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious.

It’s clear this is a well-loved, long-standing establishment — they’ve been around since 1945.

Well we came didn't have reservations. So I put how many it was for 2 after almost an hour sitting I went and asked how long yet I had a pager she said 10 to 15 mins. The was a party of 4 that came and sat by us got call before us and they had a pager too. Was here last week for a lunch event with family and friends. Kathy (think that's the name she barked at me) was terribly rude to our group, throwing a huge fit over us scooting a table over a little, we tried to be kind and apologize for inconveniencing her, but she remained sour with our table. I wanted to speak with a manager about her behavior, but allegedly, she was the manager on duty at the time. Fantastic. Food was subpar and fairly tasteless. Which is a shame, used to like this place a lot, but can't say that we really do anymore. Can't recommend it. Don't plan to revisit.

Not much to say — this is your typical Wisconsin-style supper club. The food is reasonably priced, the service was solid, and the atmosphere was fine, though nothing standout.

I ordered the prime rib. It was cooked perfectly, but the fat had that slightly rancid taste it can get when it’s been sitting too long — not enough to ruin the meal, but noticeable.

Overall, it wasn’t terrible and it wasn’t great. A middle-of-the-road experience. Still, it's probably worth checking out at least once to see if it clicks with your preferences.

The food was delicious, I had the Mardi Gra shrimp pasta. It would have even been better with the garlic bread. Sadly they forgot the garlic bread. Our bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer came after reminding them when they brought the food. Everything was pleasant and so was our server. Stay diligent and make sure they get the stuff on time. Called 4 hours ahead to make a reservation for 7pm, checked in at 6:55pm. Was told they were running behind and it would be a few minutes. After standing with the beeper for 30 minutes I checked again and they said I was next on the list. By 7:45pm I went to check again, multiple tables were empty. They finally seated us. #16 on our 2025 old-fashioned tour...we had a blast sitting at the bar. The bartenders (Dennis and Gene) were super funny. You can tell there are a lot of regulars that visit this place...very friendly atmosphere. The drinks were great. I also tried a bloody mary (which is not normal for me). Best bloody I've had. The website gives off one expectation and then showing up to dine, gives another. Based on the website alone I expected this to be a sophisticated eatery with tasty, unique menu items. In reality, it’s a typical diner/supper club. I did enjoy my burger with a gluten free bun & fries but my friend got the stir fry and the rice was very overcooked and mushy. Stopped in during Saturday lunch, just before dinner starts. Bar was completely full of patrons. Plenty of tables available but they were mindful of upcoming reservations when checking in at the host station.

Misty was our server and she was pleasant, attentive, and accommodating! I opted for the lunch Tenderloin Oscar (butterflied), but wanted all the "Oscar" components on the side. Weird I know, but it was not made out to be a big deal. Husband got the lunch Prime Rib.

Food was expedient, tasty, and quite affordable. We both also had a cocktail and our entire bill was under $60!

My husband commented on the fact I cleaned my plate without any help. He couldn't remember the last time that occurred. Perfect portioned lunches and delicious enough that I couldnt stop. We left very satisfied, no leftovers, and not stuffed to the gills.

after a lifetime of numerous visits, my overall conclusion is they dont handle parties/large groups very well.

i and my party at my baby shower for example were crammed in like sardines to where you were bumping into your neighbors eating because they wouldnt let us use the other side of the back room for another party that wasnt arriving until we left. the chairs were basically touching we could not cram anyone else in which just felt rude to not be able to relax

the christmas party i just attended that i signed up for they were going to split my +1 and i up because they refused to bring in an extra table and idk if they expected me to give up and just go or what.

but both times i get theyre stressed that things didnt go according to plan but i felt like a bother like it was being taken out on us for beubg there and i havent had that issue as an individual person so i wouldnt recommend for any larger than a few people

I placed an order at 7:27PM on December 6th, 2024.
It was for the Fettucine A La Roxy, substitute Red Sauce for Alfredo/White Sauce & a side of Tortellini.

I picked up my order at approximately 8:12PM & paid a $3.00 tip.
When I arrived home, I transferred the Fettucine A La Roxy from the To-Go Dish to a plate.
As I looked at the food, I could already tell that the noodles were overcooked, as they were very brittle & falling apart. I took a bite & I found that the flavor was very bland & the noodles had a very displeasing, mushy texture.
I took a bite out of the chicken & I also found that the chicken tasted quite odd.
I tasted the bratwurst & the meatball & found them to be tasty & satisfactory.
The tortellini was also good.
However, being that I had just spent approximately $20 on my meal, I felt it was necessary to call The Roxy, express my concerns, & search for a solution to rectify the situation.

I spoke with a waitress & she advised me to speak with the hostess. I spoke with the hostess, but about halfway through my explanation, I was met with manager in the phone call. She asked me to repeat what my concerns were because she was abruptly handed the phone from the hostess.
I repeated my concerns for the 3rd time. Her first question was, "How often do you come here?" (As if how regular of a customer I am should make a difference how the situation is handled..)
I responded, "I don't come very often, but I've been ordering this plate for years & it's always been good, but this time something seems off about it."
I was put on hold & the phone call disconnected. The Roxy then called me back with their solution. No big deal, it happens. They called me back.
The manager stated that she would be willing to offer me a $10 gift card. I told her that is not satisfactory. She stated that since I brought the food home & I said that some of the food was good that the owner would only be willing to issue me a $10 gift card. She also stated that they can't take the losses on this order, as if The Roxy would never financially recover from fixing someone's order..
I asked her who the owner was, & she then stated that right now the owner's daughter is overseeing The Roxy.
I decided to cut my losses & said fine to the $10 gift card.
The Roxy called me back & informed me that the $10 gift card will be waiting for me to pick up when they open. I then readdressed my concerns to the representative. She stated that she was just calling back to let me know that the $10 gift card will be ready for me. She asked me if I had the slip in the bag for the order & that the cooks made it just how I asked for it, essentially inferring it's my fault that the food's quality is poor.

1. I have been ordering this plate for years. I know when something is off about the plate.
2. The fact that how the situation should be handled depended on how often I dined there is appalling. It shouldn't matter if it was even my first time ordering at The Roxy or my 100th time.
3. The rebuttal the manager gave me, stating that since some of the food was good I should only be accredited with a $10 gift card. I was fully prepared to bring back the entirety of the plate for a different meal.
4. The statement that The Roxy can not take the loss on the order just compounds the ridiculousness of how this situation is handled. As if the The Roxy would not financially recover from fixing a $20 retail priced meal.
5. The fact that the owner's daughter was unwilling to make this situation right in an appropriate manner is insane.
6. The fact that the waitress/hostess calling me back was trying to infer that it's my fault for the order being the way it is because of how I ordered it is just insult to injury.
7. After putting my food away back into the To-Go Dish, I ended up finding out that I was also missing a meatball!
I unfortunately will no longer consider The Roxy as an option to dine at due to their lackluster choice in solving this problem. I have updated my previous rating from 5 stars down to 1 star.

Excellent! This is a place that my family has frequented over several decades, mostly, unfortunately for after funeral gatherings. We decided to go just to eat for a change. The menu has several great options, all appear to be very tasty. Even the salad was impressive. We just might become regulars. You can get lunch with a baked potato, a dinner roll and a great salad with blue cheese dressing for the price of a burger at most bars.

We had a reservation for 2:30 today Thanksgiving day. It is always our first pick to go out to eat. Food is always excellent! Hot and fresh fast service. You can't beat the Roxy!! The pumpkin pie was the best we ever ate. Thank you!! Our waitress was also super nice, fast, friendly and helpful. Bus gal was very helpful toooo. 💯💯💯💯💯

When it comes to Supper Club experiences The Roxy checks all boxes. From welcoming Atmosphere to exceptional food and cocktails. We had Tenderloin and scallops. I tried the blacken steak and it was perfection. The scallops were delicious. And all at very reasonably priced.
