UPDATED review: The food has really gone downhill and it's SO expensive compared to other places or what you get. The beer selection is still super small. We got the "favorite" Korean chicken sandwhich and it was a small flat dry chicken patty with a "slaw" that was just chopped dry broccoli. Very disappointing, and the flavor is just flat and over priced. Make a trip to somewhere else don't waste your time or money here.

The food is always good but the service is consistently slow. Whether you’re waiting to be seated or waiting to order it has ALWAYS taken forever. I keep coming back because the food is good and I think “maybe the service will be better this time” but time and time again I am wrong. The Night Owl down the street has just as great food, better service and lower prices. It’s not as “pretty” but in our book it’s a 100% better experience.

I would have given 5 stars if it were a couple months ago. There seems to be some changes to the menu due to competition from a new bar next door. The food has always been great, but the menu change feels more like 'bar food' now. A family outing will be great but pricey.

I ordered a burger medium on a grilled bun. I got over done burger on a burned bun. I had to flag down the waitress who hadn't taken the time to come over & ask how the food was & she brought another one but said it was already on the grill for another customer. The replacement was under done in a cold bun. We were with friends and all 4 meals were a disappointment. We were there 2 years ago & it was great but we won't go back.

Absolutely love the atmosphere of this place! Second time here. Had a patty melt at the bar that was most excellent! Service was also very good. Third time here. Patty melt was again excellent. Tried the fish combo bucket as well. Potato pancake was way too crusty almost as if it was deep fried. Shrimp was very good. Bluegill and perch were not very flavorful.

We went to Slinger house for weekday lunch. We ordered the Reuben sandwich with soup of the day, and the shrimp and mushrooms risotto with french onion soup. Both soups were good, we really enjoyed the french onion. The portions were large. The Reuben tasted amazing and the risotto was good - I did enjoy it and got two meals out of it, but I expected it to be lighter and wouldn't get it again. Overall, good service and experience.

We tried their special, a peanut butter and jelly burger. it was AMAZING. I was hesitant at first, but the combo is top notch. They also have some wonderful summer cocktails. Our waiter, Faddy, gave top notch advice on what to order, and did an overall great job.

Below was my review edited a few times when we ate new things that were great over past 4-5 yrs. Today, July 2021 were not happy with minor changes... fried fish half the size as previously, breading different with some Italian seasoning (do not like as much) and it was greasy on plate under fish which never happened before, only 1 side dish (but has been that way for a while), and charged for spilt plate. Understand spilt plate charge but when portions half the size, not easy to want to come back as often.

Been there 30-40 times in past 4-5 yrs and each time it was great. Food is prepared fresh, hot, tasty, original. Burgers great, homemade chips excellent with great dips, grilled salmon sandwich was best I've had anywhere, reuben was very good (although I would like thicker cut corned beef instead of deli type sliced), some of the creative specials have been outstanding, fish fry really good and amount just right, baked cod was very well seasoned (both lemon pepper & cajun), and the potato pancakes were so good my husband said he'll have 2 orders as sides instead of other great choices. Desserts very tasty!

Wow and I mean WOW! The food was outstanding! I had the coconut red curry shrimp and my husband had the salmon BLT, both were extremely impressive. The flavors and portions were way beyond what we were expecting. My son even had the grilled PB&J which was a nice change on the standard and he pretty much inhaled it :) I cannot believe it took me this long to try this place out, we will be back very soon.

My wife and I went out to eat here tonight and unfortunately we were thoroughly dissapointed by the service we received. I ordered the chicken and ranch wrap which was the best part of the visit. This wrap is by far the best thing I have ever eaten in a long time. My wife ordered the french dip. There was no cheese, we were not asked if we wanted cheese as is fairly standard with a french dip, and our waitress disappeared for twenty minutes despite the restautaunt being slow, so we couldnt even ask for any to put on it. I actually planned to order a chicken wrap for my wife to go to make up for this, but we were long done eating before our waitress showed back up so we cut our losses paid and left. We may give it another try and update accordingly, but only because that wrap was so good. I can only hope that next time we will we will receive better service.

Absolutely horrible food, the $16 "Italian" Beef Sandwich with Chips was a boiled meat piece of junk. We had 2 cups of soup, spent $32 on drinks, had the "special" and Duck Tenders. My Husband noticed after we gave a 25% tip that we were charged $2 for an extra plate which we never asked for. I asked the Bus girl to have our waitress come and explain the charge. They all sat there looking at us and never had the decency to explain the charge.

The Atmosphere was very nice. Trendy bar area. Nice to see whole families dine here as well as couples. Waiter Kevin aka Faddy was hilarious and spot on. Food was served fast and was delicious ! Overall the food is good, but I wouldn't say great. The quality and taste, except for the nachos, is what you'd expect for a pub. I believe that it is overpriced for good food though. Was just there and got a burger. The burger was $12, then was charged $2 to add a slice of cheese and $3 to upgrade from chips to waffle fries. I understand that you pay more in a restaurant for the food than a grocery store, these uncharges are excessive. Don't forget about the charge for a side of ranch. It was a good burger, but certainly not a $17 dollar burger.

The Staff at this establishment is very courteous and attentive.We live over 100 miles away from this establishment but if I’m in the area again I will definitely stop. It is a little pricey but the food is really good. The only downside is the parking area but it appears they are improving their parking lot.

We had a Horrible experience tonight on 09/11/20. We ordered a Reuben sandwich, and once we received it the meat was gray! Our waiter called the cook out to look at it and she said that she wouldn’t eat it either and said there was a trainee cooking that missed the bad meat.
