I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Spices Bar and Restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and warm, but what truly made the evening exceptional was the outstanding service.

The service staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. In particular, our server deserves the highest praise – not only was he extremely attentive and professional, but he also showcased incredible creativity by preparing a special Screwdriver cocktail that was unique and refreshing. His genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor elevated the entire dining experience.

The food was equally impressive – each dish was flavorful, authentic, and beautifully presented. The combination of excellent cuisine and extraordinary service made the visit truly memorable.

This was our 2nd visit at the South location. We thought we were going to their buffet, but were informed they only have it on the weekends now, so we ordered from the menu. The Samosa Chaat appetizer was delicious. The combo meal was perfect in variety and flavors and it was more than enough for two of us. At 11:15 on a Friday we were the only table and service was perfect. We will go back and might try one of their other locations.

Spices used to be amazing. As they have expanded, the quality has really slipped. The meat is tough. The flavors are bland. The samosas used to be among the best Ive ever had (and Ive had Indian food throughout the country) and now they are below average. I dont know what happened but it is terribly disappointing..

I visited the restaurant with a couple of friends three weeks ago for the first time and tried the lunch buffet. The vegetarian options were quite limited and lacked variety. Food flavor 5/10 and the crunchy chips on the side were stale and left an oily residue. Service was slow too..

Good menu, with delightful Indian food. We tried the vegetarian options, and the dishes were all tastefully done. Quite possibly the only Indian restaurant in the area, but the quality more than makes up for it.
They usually serve lunch buffet, but a la carte is available at all times.
They also have a small hall which is available for private parties.

The food is great, the menu has markers for gluten free dishes, which we appreciate a lot; it's difficult to find places to eat with a dietary restriction. The portions are a little small for the price you pay but that's really just how it is now.

The service was very off putting. I felt rushed to order, and rushed to leave, he slammed our dishes onto the table, and when I went to the counter to pay he audibly sighed at us. I am not really one to complain about customer service but it just didn't feel very welcoming at all.

I would return but maybe not to this specific location as they seem to not really want dine in customers.

This is my 2nd time to this place after giving it a second chance as the 1st experience was not good. The 1st time had cold and crusty leftovers with maybe enough food for 3 people with 1 plate (this was at 1:30pm) I asked if they were planning to add fresh food to the buffet and answer was no bc they were closing at 2pm (this was after I called to confirm they would be open till 3pm) but nope they gave me the wrong info bc they had a party to tend to. Our 2nd time here was a very similar experience with the buffet but not as bad since we got here at noon but again no food replacement and some things were already cold and crusty. The food here is tasty but unfortunately, the keep up and service is not great. The person just stands at the cash register on their phone. I only gave 3 stars since the food is good when warm and fresh.

I came on vacation from Canada, through my friend recommendation I visited this restaurant. Surprisingly, the food was amazing. We ordered samosa, chicken chili, chicken chowmein for appetizers and in main course we had saag chicken, butter chicken, garlic naan and gulab jamun for dessert. Mango lassi tastes good as well. I'm obsessed with Mutter Paneer. When I first had it at this place, it was AMAZING. The first 2 times I had it, it was phenomenal - the perfect balance of flavor, sweet, & savory. However, the next 3 times - it was WAY too sweet, almost like they had a different cook or recipe. I added spices when I brought it home so I could tolerate how sweet it was. Now, yesterday, I tried it again in hopes that maybe it'll go back to the "original" and it didn't taste like Mutter Paneer at all. It was very runny, no sweetness at all, lacking flavor, & the liquid wasn't the normal "puree". It did still have the peas & paneer. I even checked the receipt to make sure I did, in fact, order Mutter Paneer. I have been disappointed the last 4 times I've had the Mutter Paneer here. You might ask "Why did you keep going back?". Because the first 2 times were sooo good! I had high hopes. I now can say, their extreme inconsistency in flavor & quality is not worth the $22+ paid for this dish. I likely will never order from here again.

Rip off and dishonest service. Supposedly the same franchise as the Manitowoc restaurant. Ordered over the phone and the person I spoke to stated the Chilli Chicken was $13.00 (like it was when we went to the Manitowoc location). Ordered Chilli Chicken and Lamb Biriyani to go. I asked him for a total and he told me he could not tell me off hand since he didn't have his calculator in front of him. I trusted him and said fine. They asked which location, I told them the Sheboygan location. When I arrived, The price of the chilli chicken was $16.00. I told him I was quoted $13.00. This different guy looked up the menu price and it said $15.99, so apparently there is a significant difference in price between the Manitowoc and Sheboygan location and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. In Addition, there was a surcharge just for using the credit card. Charged a total of $38.01 for some chilli chicken and lamb biriyani. The portions weren't that large either. Definitely don't recommend this restaurant, if you want Indian food, go elsewhere.

The Spices was interesting. I've never had Indian food before, and the kids talked me into it.
The Naan wrap appetizer was excellent. I'd highly recommend it to anyone first trying this type of cuisine. Very flavorful and dripping with sauce. I only wished they would have cut it into smaller portions.
Our table had three different meals. The butter chicken and the curry were very savory and delicious. The other meal was one of the tofu dishes and, while it was good, they wish they would have ordered the chicken curry.
Overall, the service was very prompt and all of our food came out quickly. I especially like that they ask if you want mild, medium, or spicy. It allows you to customize the dish to your level of heat.

Go to Jay’s instead for a delicious Indian food experience. We ordered the butter chicken, spicy, for two online through DoorDash. The food was extremely sweet, like from a jar sweet and had no heat or depth of flavor at all. Even reseasoning at home after tasting did very little. The cheese naan was almost pancake like with its thickness and had no cheese or discernible flavor. We were extremely disappointed considering its reviews and definitely won’t be branching out again anytime soon.

When I visited I was the only customer. I was seated immediately and received terrific service from my waitress. Since this was my first time there I was not familiar with menu and had many questions. While my waitress did her very best I got the impression that she was not all that familiar with the food. Unfortunately, when we received our order, we noticed that at least three items were missing. We decided to let it go, assuming that things can get missed at times. A few days later, we placed a second order and reminded them about the missing items from our previous order. But even this time, they missed a few items. It was disappointing because it showed that they do not take their customers' orders seriously. Waiter checked on us frequently to make sure everything was going well. Food came out quickly. Food IS SO GOOD!!! Delicious 10/10. Texture, Aroma, Flavor is perfect. Also displayed very prettily. Garlic naan was even easy to rip straight down. Mango Lassi was so good as well, you can tell it was made out of fresh mangoes. I had to another to go because it was just that good. Perfect consistency.

This place is seriously fire! I've been here 2x now. First time, we ordered the sampler as we've never had authentic Indian cuisine before. EVERYTHING that came out for $30 was SO DELICIOUS and fed 6 of us. With some left to bring home too. We've decided we're trying something different each time we go back. The 2nd time was nothing less than delicious perfection too. The staff is friendly. Seated quickly and they are accommodating. A party of 14 showed up without calling ahead while we ate. They got them all set up for their large party instantly. The food comes out really quickly also. This place is on point and I'm very glad we discovered it and will continue to go!

Food and service was great. I gave the atmosphere a 3 out of 5 due to their A/C being barely on. I was sweating while I was diningdue to the summer weather. Please turn the Air Conditioner up.

This is amazing Indian food. I have been to a couple in Milwaukee and Greenbay, but this one is close to home and very very good. Tikka chicken fan and Spices is hands down my favorite.

The first time around when I ordered from them it was pleasant, but the second time around it was pretty bad. My butter chicken was doused in oil and super salty, it literally was like taking a full spoon of salt. Never again, If they were consistent, this place would be amazing! thought I could give them another try from the first time around. ****UPDATE******
Gave them one star back for offering a full refund for the butter curry that was inedible. Fantastic customer service but the food is a hit or miss.

My new favorite place in town! The food is absolutely fantastic and worth the price. The butter chicken had great flavor and the cheese naan was very good. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. I look forward to returning very soon!
