Thursday my mom and her friend brought me to lunch here, they had lunched here a couple months ago on a Thursday while in town. They were very excited about $3 burgers! We each built our own and opted for different sides. Our server was very helpful w my mom trying to pick a beer. It wasn't mentioned to us until I asked as we were departing... the popcorn machine is help yourself. She did suggest we take a boat to go, we declined. There is a decent beer selection; busch to several craft selections. I was intrigued by the Apple Bacon Beans side, but opted for tots. I was curious about a bottle of ranch on the tables! Is it that common? The food good, server was great, the ambiance quiet and comfortable and parking was easy. Do I want to say Stockyard is... kitchy....? Maybe.... I liked that the front door was a metal fuel pump handle, there is an antique cabinet in the dining area and the tin lower walls in the bar. It's a fun vibe. I didn't think to take a picture but they grill their burger buns... yum! Thanks Sockyard for a fun and delicious lunch!

Don't expect service around noon time. The last 2 times my wife and I were there with others we walked out with no service after 25 min. It was not busy. 2 tables that were already eating. Got my own menus. But still nothing. I guess I can be grateful we were given a table.

We had breakfast there today. Biscuits with sausage gravy and an egg on top. It was very good. The atmosphere was worth the visit. The inside was very well done with vintage decor and western decor. The most amazing decor was Berador cooler. The best part of the visit was the amazing young bartender/server. She has a great personality and made us feel very welcome. The Stockyard is a must trip for anyone that wants great service, food and atmosphere. We most definitely will go back.

The bartender was nice and cheerful. We got our drinks right away. They sat us right by the smoking area door, which was not pleasant. Don't get me wrong, I realize people have bad days, but our waitress was unfriendly, and it's like it was a chore to wait on us. We ordered cheesecurds, and they were hollow. They must have left them in the fryer too long. Our onion rings tasted like fish. So they must fry their fish and other foods in the same fryer. Our house salads and dressings were warm and also the salad bowls. I ordered my steak medium well and came medium rare. Told the waitress, and she didn't do anything. She left all the dirty dishes from our salad bowls to our appetizer plates on our table. Overall, the experience was 2 thumbs down. Sorry Stockyard, hopefully our next trip to your place will be a better experience!

I went to see a local band. It's a nice venue for music but it did get a bit crowded. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor is very unique, with a lot of taxidermied animals. My only complaint is that since they removed all tables to open up the dance floor, and all seats at the bar were taken, the seating was extremely limited. The result was me on my feet for the whole 4 hours. I wasn't comfortable leaving my coat and purse in the cloakroom right by the front door to the restaurant, so that I could dance, so I had to search for a place to set my purse. I also had nowhere to set my drink down near me, which made me uncomfortable because leaving a drink unattended is very dangerous. Overall, though, it was a good experience and I'd like to go back and try their food because it looked and smelled fantastic.

I went to see a band so I didn't eat here. I spent the night trying to find a place to put my drink, coat and purse while I was dancing. The place was packed full and there was literally nowhere to sit. It's a nice enough venue for music but be prepared to stand all night. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the decor is nice especially if you like to hunt or fish. I'd like to go again and try their food, but I'd be afraid I'd have to juggle my food and drink if I wanted to see the entertainment.

The waitress was having a bad day or is not good at her job....She never came back to check on drink refills. It was quiet. I tried a sandwich and fries, my oldest ordered a chicken sandwich with fries, and all other parties ordered burgers and fries. The chicken came out after everyone else was finishing their meal, the fries were cold and floppy, and my beef was 🤢, and the burger patties were burnt. It's not a place I will return or recommend.

Very nice waitress, but she was the only server, taking care of both the bar area and dining room, so service was really slow. My husband ordered a burger. The menu said medium was slightly pink. Was very disappointed in our visit. Service was down right awful, staff didn't know anything, had to ask for everything even though menu stated it was coming with. Fries were awful. Got an order of cheese curds, they were OK, came in a basket big enough for 10 orders, we each got 4 & they were all small. The bun was stale & smashed. The pickle was bad. The BLT left a lot to be desired, toast not buttered, the mayo was missing. Atmosphere was cold & unwelcoming.

We came for lunch yesterday bartender was awsomly on the ball. every time then we waited 25-30 minutes for our food. I ordered shrimp scampi, the shrimp was very good however the noodles were soaked in a heavy oily butter with no flavor and a little parmesan on top. the garlic toast was very plain buttered toast that had been salted so much that I could feel my blood pressure rise and did not feel good for the next few hours. My husband had the boneless chicken and tatar tots which was worse than a MC Donalds chicken nuggets with fries.

So I don't know what happened here but it was a very disappointing meal. But hats off to your bartender.

Mixed review. Atmosphere and cocktails were great. Staff was friendly, but they need training. Our waitress didn't know the fish fry details, she just handed us the menu. Baked cod and salads were good. One person at the table ordered pan fried walleye and it was deep fried. It was good but should have been told when order was taken. Smelt was over battered and could not eat it. We told the waitress but she was to new and just smiled.
