If I could give this place 0 stars, believe me I would. We just left after waiting 1.5 hrs for a glass of water, and after getting royally upset and shouting asking for my meal to go.... only to get back to the hotel room and its disgusting. No "tavern roll and butter", no condiments and my dish Especially watered down tomato sauce and a dry microwaved generic meatball. Very disappointed. Came for the promoted Saturday night prime rib which I guess runs out by 7pm. Didnt know until almost 35 minutes later. After dealing with my screaming 3 year old wanting spaghetti, I finally had enough. Burger was also awful, over cooked and no flavor. Prime rib sandwich soggy and gross after not even 10 minutes in container. We were offered the salad bar "for free" basically to shut us up but sad part is half of the toppings, eggs, bacon, and rolls were empty. Should've just gone to Kaminskis and paid 3x as much for 1000x the service. First trip and my last.

Food was absolutely terrible at the restaurant located inside the hotel. We were here because of a wrestling tournament and we did not want to get into the cold, so we tried this restart. Fries were ice cold chicken was extremely dry and no flavor. Outrageous as well. Front desk is extremely rude, answered our questions as if we did not exist. Water park is fun for all ages, but all staff was rude. Do not waste your money here.

In all seriousness my review is based solely on one bartender, the one with one side of her hair shaved. I cannot remember another server/bartender that was more rude or condescending. Went with a bachelor party and after a round of golf we get a brat and chips. We went to the bar and didn’t have our tickets because our group was split up and the guy with the ticket was still on the course. (Poor planning I know) we told the bartender and asked if we could present the tickets when he was done but grab our brats right away- it was a long round. she sat there in silence for a couple seconds looking at us like we’re stupid and says “okay first I have no idea what you’re talking about, second did you guys need a drink or no” as if the bar was slammed. It was MAYBE 1/4 full. The funny thing is I didn’t even have to say anything about how rude she was because when the other guys all came in they said the exact same thing. She was unbelievably condescending and just not nice. After we finished our beers and food outside my friend that was with me for the first interaction went back in and specifically seeked out a different bartender to ask if they sold cigarettes. The first bartender jumps in and says “no we don’t sell those here!” And basically looks at us like we just spit at her.

Try not to lose your cool with that lady if you have to deal with her. It’s extremely difficult and, like I said before, every other guy in our party said the same exact thing. I wish I would have said something to management while I was there but I have a feeling she’s been there a while and I’m sure they’re aware of how she talks to people. I wouldn’t go back.

The food was fine (the vegetables we're definitely frozen, so they were mushy and didn't have much flavor) though the salad bar was good and had a nice variety. The waitress asked if we wanted water refills which we found odd, and then mixed up the glasses when she took them to refill them. She also messed up the order (though to little consequence), but then also messed up the bill. Thankfully the manager fixed it. Overall, the service and the food were lacking, so we will not be returning.

Went off season, place was not busy, service was horrible, half of the table came out nad we had to ask where the other food was, ordered kids Mac n cheese and it was runny, wife wanted walleye but beer battered (we were here on a Friday, hoping it wasn't a big deal) but was told it was already covered with the cracker crust, meaning it was frozen, yuk. Slow service, sub par food. Stay away.

Granted I went off-peak season so the place was empty. It has a nice size parking lot, the entrance is wheelchair accessible and they do have public bathrooms here. The food wasn't bad, no one in my group had any major complaints about it & we all enjoyed the mimosis that were served with brunch.

We had a table of 15. Most of our meals were barely warm and overcooked. My daughters gluten free meal was not gluten free. They messed up in the kitchen. Manager didn't have the common decency to come and apologize. Just stayed away from our table. Drinks took forever. Night was just a disaster. I will never come to this hotel or restaurant again. Prime rib was tasteless and price was way too expensive. salad bar you only get about 7 topping to choose from. The dinner roll was hard as a rock. I am very surprised this place survived.

We went this past Sunday for the first time. The service was horrible!!! We had to wait a long time until someone came to our table. The waitress had no personality at all. We had to ask for water. When we were given our coffee we waited for a long time until she walked by to ask for some cream & sugar. Our coffee was cold by then, no apologies. She took our order & didn't even notice that we didn't have teaspoons to stir our coffee. Even when my sister had to use her fork to stir it right in front of her, just to see what she would say. No reaction or apologies. I finally asked for them!
While we waited for our food she never offered a refill. When we asked for a refills, she took our cups AWAY & refilled them but mixed our cups instead of using new cups or refilling them at the table. We had to ask for more cream & sugar packets again!
My sisters sausage links were not fully cooked. She waited for the waitress to come back but it took too long so she called over a young lady who was clearing tables & told her it was raw. Again no waitress nor new sausage links. My sister was done eating her pancakes, no new sausage links! She finally came back & we asked her about the sausage, it was like she didn't know or forgot we had to return them!
My son had to ask for the beer he ordered also.
Mind you it was not even busy, there were only two other tables when with people when we arrived! Talked to other guest & they complained about the bad service too!!!! It was suppose to be my birthday brunch, the experience over shadowed the quality of the food we ate! Will not be returning again!!!
After reading the reviews it seems this has happened to other customers for quite a long time. Surprising the management hasn't corrected the same complaints & service!

I’m not sure why it still in business. Service is horrible we asked for ketchup and never got it.
I had to go over to the bar and grab a bottle which it was empty. I asked one of the worker at the bar for ketchup and she pointed to the one I had in my hand. I replied it’s empty, you should have seen the look on her face.
We had a couple orders from kids menu to adults. Mac n cheese doesn’t taste like Mac n cheese. Med rare steak came in as rare and I have to say there dill salmon has no dill and it over cooked. First and last time!

I feel generous even giving 1 star. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was just a nightmare. Didn't have anyone serving us. People had to get up and go get their drinks at the bar. They didn't even know who was from our wedding party they didn't bring out wristbands until about 10 mins before we were done and we had to be there for at least 2 hours so my parents probably ended up buying random people drinks. Then they didnt tell anyone salad bar was included with our meals until everyone was already done eating. Also said they would refund my mom $75 and never have. I emailed the manager and he said he was looking into this concern and would get back to me. That was a month ago I have followed up 3 times and still have not got a response back. I'm not upset about the money more lack of organization on this restaurants part. I hope future bride and grooms won't have to deal with this disorganization.

Underwhelming may be overly generous.

First the highs. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. For an appetizer, we ordered the fried mushrooms. They were delicious, if not generously portioned.

Now the lows. We ordered cocktails. My wife ordered a 7 and 7. The first one we thought they had given her diet by accident, when they brought a new one it became evident the soda was just completely flat. I ordered a Maker's Mark neat. They chilled it by shaking it with ice, a cardinal sin to bourbon drinkers. When we sent the drinks back, our server, the hosts, and the bartender had to have a two minute conversation to decide to replace them. Before making new drinks the bartender had another couple minute conversation with two couples who were clearly regulars seated at the bar, where they discussed our drinks, and took turns tasting them (gross).

We ordered the sirloin burgers for the adults and one of the kids, and a mac and cheese for the other. The burgers were surprisingly small and very well done, to the point of being dry. The mac and cheese was almost completely without flavor, and the fruit cups the boys ordered were canned fruit salad.

The kicker for me was when we got our server's attention so my six year old could order his own soda refill, she rolled her eyes as she turned around. We had him order his own so he could practice his manners, he did well anyway.

We're staying at the hotel for a long weekend. We made reservations and the front desk gave us a bunch of coupons to eat on the property. So we decided why not. After arriving on time. They jacked us around for 30 minutes with seating, and sat us I the bar with our 7 year old. Told us we could order an appetizers but not food. We would have to wait 25 minutes to get a table where we could order food. We figured that was fine since we had a coupon. The coupon was for a free appetizer with the purchase of 2 adult meals. When we gave her the coupon she told us it's only if you order the "special" of the night. After we ordered the appetizers and our dinners. Not any dinner on the menu. It doesn't state that. Don't waste your money or time. Much better places.

Had a group of 20 come in (had reservations two weeks in advanced) and no one else was there but our group. It took FOREVER for everyone to get food. I understand it's a lot of orders at once but some people were done for 15 minutes before others got their food. We were there for 2 HOURS. Also, some of us didn't even know about the specials, and the waiters were very inattentive. Only came to take our order and bring us food. Never said some orders were going to be late and never apologized for that. Will I return? Nope. Food was good but over priced.

This restaurant was outstanding! We got a free appetizer coupon from our room so we got the chicken wings. We weren't sure what to expect but they were cooked perfectly! Then we got the fish fry which was excellent, it came with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and a garden salad. I will for sure make a stop here again! Was much more then we expected at very reasonable prices too!
