Every day after school when I was younger my friends and I would go to Twisted and get a coffee (or 2-3 haha) and do homework until our parents picked us up or we went somewhere to hang out. In high school, I transferred schools and yet would still often make the drive to get a drink and do work (this place fosters productivity). I did many of my college apps here, my ACT prep, and much more-this place has grown with me. I even remember when the upstairs was opened up-how ecstatic we all were ! Fast forward, I am now a college student a few hours away, but I find that whenever I visit home I try to make it to twisted.
This long timeline is to simply show how amazing this place is.If it weren't for the superb service, drinks, atmosphere, and owners, I may have stopped going to Twisted when I left Prescott. However, there is a reason it is worth making the journey to Prescott for!
They have created a really homey place that I loved as a kid and continue to love. You will not regret stopping in.The atmosphere can not be beat, the drinks are great, the view and sunsets they see are great! They also are great at employing high school kids who are friendly and need a job. If you're looking for a new local coffee place, support this business ! You will not regret it!

I appreciated the cozy vibe of the first level of the coffee shop, but I found it quite cramped and cluttered with limited seating. Unfortunately, the coffee tasted more like what you’d find at a gas station—nothing remarkable and overly sweet. I requested a less sweet option, but it was still too sugary for my taste. The staff mentioned that their coffee tends to be on the sweeter side.
I also found the food to be bland and lacking flavor, which was disappointing. I explored the upstairs area for additional seating, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It felt more like a small apartment than a coffee shop and was quite noisy. If you’re looking for a quieter atmosphere, this isn’t the place for you. This is just my personal experience as I’m on a mission to try various small coffee shops.

This place is a gem 💎 very unique layout, cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Super friendly staff with prompt service. The upstairs has more seating selection and a room that can be closed off for privacy. Get the breakfast burrito! It’s soo goood. Hot sauce included and the outside was perfectly pressed to make slightly flaky and delicious. The Starry Night drink is absolutely wonderful as well, Not too sweet but just enough. And the carrot cake was moist and soft to bite into and the frosting was perfectly sweetened to not overpower the flavor. Overall the vibe, food, and drinks were wonderful. Great place to stop!

Came here in the morning wanting to grab a quick bite and something to drink. The place is very clean and cozy and the staff are socialable as well! I got a great coffee recommendation (I can't recall the name but it had dark chocolate and caramel in it) and I went with the Hearty Hoagie as my breakfast which tasted great. There is a whole upstairs I almost missed had I not gone to wash my hands after eating which had a cute sitting room that was perfectly quiet for me to do some homework. It overlooks downtown and the St Croix as well as the historic railway bridge. Really cute spot, I'll definitely be coming back. I got a lot of homework done.

First time in Wisconsin, found this coffee shop on Google. The baristas were the nicest; they were warm and friendly. It made our whole experience pleasant. Our only regret is that we didn't buy more of the homemade peanut butter they sold there.

We got drinks, breakfast sandwiches and I got a cookie. We sat upstairs and really enjoyed our experience. Highly recommend.

Stopped into Prescott to the public dock with intentions of finding a nice cup of coffee on a Sunday morning. We found twisted oak and thankfully we did! We were greeted by very kind staff and we got a mint mocha as well as a starry night! Both were 10/10 drinks. Kids got some muffins and we got a few breakfast bagel sandwiches. All were great. We will definitely be making another early morning stop down to Prescott again soon to try more of their menu! Highly recommend this nice little coffee shop!

I realized today I haven't yet reviewed this place despite coming here for years. It's a great spot for working away from home or just hanging out. They serve a lot more than coffee. A wide selection of bakery and other food is available. You can't go wrong with any of the paninis.

My favorite thing about The Twisted Oak is the layout. It seems that the average coffee shop these days is a sterile box. Just a big open space and homogenous interior. This place has some serious character. The upstairs, "the tree house", is essentially a two bedroom apartment where you can get away from other conversations to have your own space.

This coffee shop is amazing!! We were staying across the street at The Port at Prescott and ordered breakfast online. I had the Stary latte iced and wow!! It was amazing! The breakfast sandwich with the basil pesto was one of the best I have ever had! My husband had a strawberry banana smoothie and the breakfast sandwich on a cinnamon raisin bagel and said it was very good. The staff was also very friendly and prompt.

In need of coffee and a place to work, we stopped here on a freezing Sunday morning. The baristas served us instantly and the delicious drinks were quick in coming out. It took a few minutes of looking around the cozy (and not crowded downstairs) before we realized there was an upstairs as well. It's obviously a renovated apartment, and it is delightful! Plenty of space to work or hang out with your friends and a handy bathroom. It feels a little like intruding on someones private space. Plus, the chai is so good!
