We were there on Friday and had the worst service and food ever. We were a party of 8 for dinner but they were not very busy. We got our order in right away so thought it would not take very long. Everything we ordered was way over cooked. The prime rib and the burgers looked like shoe leather. I ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza and after 1 hour when everyone else received their food I was told by our waitress that they were behind on pizzas and mine would be the fourth one out and they would discount it 20 percent. She also offered a free drink for the inconvenience. After 2 hours I finally got my pizza as the rest of my party was already gone. After I finally got home I looked at the receipt and realized I was charged full price for everything. I would say if you want to be just a bar then be just a bar because a restaurant you don't seem able to be.

Our server was fantastic! She warned us on how large the “drummies” are. My husband still ordered 12, he ate 7 and took the rest home. He was so excited to know he has a tasty lunch for tomorrow. Our server/bartender was super! We were there at around 4:00 on a Wednesday and there were a few people at a table and around 8 or so at the bar. Perfect time to go!

Had to have a quick dinner for the family so we ordered a Philly, a burger with no bun, add lettuce, pickle and ketchup. Apparently they don't serve their Phillies with Au Jus so it made for a very dry and flavorless sandwich and the cheese burger was merely a patty with cheese. First time ordering there and I hesitate to go back. As a seasoned cook (pun intended) I think the standards need to be higher. Old menu was much better, interesting, and beyond the typical fried boring bar food.

Used to love this bar but the new owner has completely ruined it. From service to food to prices. Nothing is priced on the menu except maybe five items, all which are $3-$5 more expensive than it says. This makes it incredibly hard to plan and decide, especially when eating out is a rare luxury nowadays. When asking for prices the waitress was incredibly rude and told us to look it up online if we wanted to know which we couldn't get to work so we went in blind thinking bar food wouldnt break the bank. Thought we were safe with the chicken wrap as that's always a decent price...$17 plus $3 for fries that were advertised as $1.75. Food was mediocre and was something the local family restaurant makes delicious for half the price right down the road. The old owner would be so disappointed to see what a dumpster fire this one has turned it into. Pick any other bar on the lake and you'll have a much better time.

I'm only giving the prime rib a 1 star. We have visited your establishment 3 times in 2 weeks. The burgers are delicious and pizza is spot on! Was really disappointed with the prime rib, had high hopes due to previous experience. It's gross and overpriced for what it is.
The bartenders we have had are great and are attentive even when busy.
The server last night was "newer" I'm assuming and can't hold a conversation or answer questions. No 2 min checkback to even ask how food was but could see her in back on her phone.
Fountain pop is ridiculously overpriced at $3 plus with not free refill. Guess my bad for not asking....Was shocked to see my bill for that. Especially after having to wait for over an hour for food and it wasn't busy at 530pm.

Went here with friends. Poor experience Waitress was good. Food tasted good but was served cold. They missed some of our food that we ordered. It literally took us over an hour from the time we ordered to actually get our food. They were not that busy, not even half full. We asked to speak to a manager. She did not come out to talk to us after telling the waitress she would. Finally, after we went inside to pay our bill, we talked to her and they comped one appetizer. Really disappointing because it could be a very nice place.

Went there for gun raffle last weekend. Had a great time…. Until we checked our bill. We were charged for FOURTEEN mixed drinks, 2 domestic bottles of beer, and an appetizer. There was no way that was possible. We (a group of 3) were there for 2.5 hours. I would be dead of alcohol poisoning if I drank that much. Nobody in my party ordered any domestic beer. We ordered an appetizer but were charged for a more expensive one. Understandably, I was very upset and brought my bill to the bar. The servers had no time for me and took 10+ minutes just to hear me out, at which point I was told there was nothing they could do about it. I went back and demanded to have my bill taken a closer look at. The bartender took off the domestic bottles and the appetizer($8 off my $200 bill) and would refuse to dispute the number of mixed drinks which I am 100% certain was not accurate. Horrible conflict resolution. WILL NOT come back and will TELL EVERYONE not to go there unless this situation comes to a resolution.

Haven't been in there when they're super busy so the service was good. There's a lot to do here. Video arcade, pull tabs, darts, pool, and of course watch people out on the lake. I had the dummies with Caribbean jerk sauce. Big size drummies, I wouldn't recommend also ordering another big food item with it because it's a lot of food. I also tried the new york style pizza. The crust had a really good taste so I definitely would get that again. I will add this to my "go to places".

We are a family of 7 that can rarely eat out so when I spend $60+ on to go burger dinners I don’t expect them to be so raw they are mooing. I called to let them know my little kids burgers were literally dripping blood and raw inside and they apologized. The manager said they would send me vouchers for free meals to make it up to us and they never bothered to mail them. Won’t go back now. Too bad, we love supporting small businesses.

Lovely place, but the food wasn't good. Server didn't know what she was doing at all, never came to check on the table, other than that she was really nice. I’ve been here a lot over the years, especially in 2016-2017 when I lived in Chippewa Falls. Was here for volleyball, fish fries, Bloody Mary bar, etc.

For thanksgiving 2023 my family used the event space upstairs and had a great time. The food and service were really good, and had fun using the game area with my nephew, which had a variety of claw machines, bar games and arcade cabinets. He had fun trying to win one of the giant jolly rancher lollipops

I would highly recommend this place I grew up going here till it was burned down I went back the other day for an interview and was blown away I also ate while I was there had the shrimp basket with homemade cocktail sauce and Jojo everything was absolutely amazing they only thing I could say is a little less horse radish in the sauce and a little less fry time for the shrimp with that said I still really really like the basket I had , my fiance had soup and sandwich it was amazing as well ,to start the meal ordered a giant pretzel and it did not disappoint at all was fluffy and delicious and honestly the view at the view is always amazing any time of the year I like to see the snow on the lake but that's me either way stop on and try this place if you haven't your missing out !

Some bartenders are absolutely great earlier in the night. My family and I visited The View to sit on the deck, grab a quick bite, and enjoy the view of the lake. Apparently, they no longer have seating on the upper deck anymore, which is where you can see the overlook of the lake. We were disappointed since the main reason we went to The View was to see "the view." The men's bathroom was trashed. The appetizer took over an hour to be delivered and the main food took another 40 mins. It was ridiculous. We politely asked for a discount and there was not a manager on duty to talk to. This was on father's day, a historically busy day for restaurants. Other than that, the food was good and the service was great! The pizza was tasty, nachos had a nice amount of cheese, the caesar dressing was deliciously creamy, cheesesteak had good flavor and the BLT was great!
