I’ve been coming to The Village Grille for quite some time and our last visit was especially nice. There were eight of us at the table and our server Kimberly did a wonderful job taking care of everyone. She was very attentive and had such a pleasant attitude the whole time.She kept everything moving smoothly, drinks were refilled. You could tell she takes pride in her work!
The food was perfect, we really liked the prime rib. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the service really stood out. It was a Saturday night. We would like to have Kimberly as our server again next time.

We come here a lot and the food is actually quite great. But we have a problem with Cheryl. Every time we come in she's quite rude. Not very friendly and she was very mean to my elderly mother who needed a padded chair but sat us in a hard seat anyway. She came over and slapped the menus on our table very hard and said that she wasn't trying to be malice in a rude tone but here she was coming over being malice. 😐It was just the rudest I've ever experienced with this woman or really at any restaurant. And this was not the first time we have encountered this rudeness from her. Steer clear. You can't miss her because she constantly has a scowl on her face. I'll try to get a picture. Otherwise I don't have problems with any of the other employees or the food. The customer that was behind us even made a comment at how rude she was. They said that they were also going to leave a comment because it was just inappropriate. This will be our last time eating here after many years because of her. And I'll be telling a lot of people.

This was the first time here for myself. The person I met there had been there before. It's a cute restaurant. I think most of the issues were the servers lack of communication or language barriers. I asked for my eggs fried hard, yolk & all. I asked for sour dough toast & bacon.

Our orders came out & the eggs were over easy & wrong bread. My mom had ordered over easy so she took those eggs. I grabbed a piece of bacon before my plate was taken away. There was no apology from the server. He continued taking other orders, walked by us several times with no word on when my food would be out. I finally flagged down another server after 10 minutes. This is a situation that makes me crazy at restaurants. Mine finally came back. I had hot eggs, cold bacon & cold toast that was over done, even burnt near the edges. I wasn't impressed.

I decided to try pancakes today since I had issues getting my eggs cooked correctly & hot. The pancakes were good & generous in size, but barely warm. My plate was cold like in the past. I HATE hot food only warmed slightly. Why can't I get hot food here?

When I came here for the first time with my Dad. We were so impressive with their interior design and vibe. It felt nice warm welcome and calm place to eat at. I didn't realize how big their menu was for lunch/dinner and breakfast on separate menu. Their service was fantastic! She was very friendly, takes time to explain about restaurant offer, and kept everything smooth. I do love their small lamp on table to help to see the menu. The lighting is great and how immaculate entire area. Back to talk about menu. I have super delicious Baby back rib with sauce and perfect fall off the bone. Man oh man I couldn't get enough of it. one nice thing about you can order no sauce if you want. My Dad order shrimp and he was impressive how tasty and not too butter or garlic. Overall price for different foods are not very expressive. On every Sunday they have Breakfast Buffet from 8am to 1pm. Sound like to me they have plenty of variety food choice to eat. I haven't eat it, but Im sure they are great. You can make RSVP on Sunday Breakfast buffet only. So there is no RSVP for any other day or time. I will be Back for some more!!! THANKS YOU!!!

Went there today for dinner, my spouse and I ordered a combo basket, two ground beef taco salads, and two mountain dews. First off the meat was pretty much cold, it was clumped together and looked off. Then I took a bite, the meat was mushy and had no flavor at all. None, it didn’t even taste like ground beef. My spouse also thought it tasted odd. The mixed greens was also wilted for the most part. The waitress came over to ask us how our food was and we were honest. She asked if we wanted to speak to the manager and we said yes. The manager came over and said she took a bit off the bill, we thought it would be a decent amount since we barely ate any of the taco salads. Turns out she only took off the drinks. The bill was still $50 even though we could barely stomach to eat the taco salads. So we told our waitress that we would like to not pay for food that was inedible. She went back to the manager and they took off one of taco salads and put the drinks back on. Hopefully it was a bad batch or the cooks were off but I don’t think we will be coming back again. But thank you to our lovely waitress that helped us get it resolved.

I've eaten here a few times and things were always good. I attempted to reach out this past week to inquire about booking a section for a baby shower I was planning for a friend. I received an email stating both locations were booked on the day my friend was looking for. I received that email at 7:18am, but later that day my friend's husband was able to book a room with The Village Grille. Patty melt was good and the fries were cooked perfectly. My daughter’s Caesar salad with grilled chicken was very good and large. Mother liked her fried shrimp and the sweet potato fries were very crisp and didn’t taste greasy.
Waitress was excellent! Clean bathrooms and a pretty restaurant overall. If we’re in Green Bay we would definitely eat here again.

My family and I have been going here weekly for years. Service, food quality, and customer respect has taken a dive in recent months. If you're not getting buffet don't go; also the buffet is pretty bad for $16...

Anywhere else will have better food for the same cost, and the service has just gotten bad. Village Grille is just trying to flip tables to serve more senior citizens. The food and service are reflective of that.

I hosted my bridal shower here in August and was completely blown away by their service, food, and support. Our first time here enjoying the Sunday Buffett and definitely won’t be the last. What struck me was the variety and high quality of this breakfast Buffett. They had your usual fare scrambled eggs (with cheese or with veggies), bacon (crispy!), link sausage etc. But so much more! Banana French toast, apple dumplings, bread pudding, cheesy hash brown casserole (for two helpings! Because it was soooooo good), breakfast burritos, waffles and French toast sticks with strawberry glaze available, fresh fruit and pastries as well. So so good! Highly recommend this Sunday buffet.
