I went there with my fiance on 4/6/25 we each had 1 drink and then we waited for 10 minutes and only 1 bar tender when we were going to ..order food she told us that it would be 1 hour there was only about 15 people in their so we left they need more than 1 bartender and 2 waitress it's nice and clean but I won't be going back to soon it's your choice if you like to wait for your food you will be drunk before you get your food .

Very bright in there . Our waitress didn’t feel the need to write our order down, and of course an item was forgotten . There was only 2 of us so it wasn’t very hard . She looked like she could have cared less to be there and had zero expression on her face . After our experience I read other reviews and someone else must’ve had the same server we did and complained. Had to ask a different waitress about our order. Our waitress was too busy cleaning and it was 7:45 and the place doesn’t close until nine with 2 tables in the house . Very unfortunate experience tonight. I haven’t been back in town for a couple of years, so I was looking forward to stopping by for a meal with family. This used to be my go to spot, as I’ve always enjoyed the food.

Service was poor. It took quite a while before our order was taken. The server seemed like she didn’t want to be there, but not the end of the world. I ordered the prime rib special.

It took quite a while for the food to come, and it wasn’t very busy, but again, not the end of the world.

My meal came, there were no mashed potatoes that were supposed to come with the meal. I asked the server about them, and she said, “oh, you wanted those”? She then asked if I wanted my salad as well. Not sure why there was confusion, but hey, mistakes happen. She went and had them add the potatoes and brought out my salad, but not without seeming inconvenienced by doing so.

The prime rib came out well-done and was so tough, I had difficulty cutting it with the steak knife. The mashed potatoes seem to be instant potatoes, and I’m assuming the green beans were canned, as they were still cold. I took one bite of the potatoes, one of three beans, and about three total bites of the prime rib before I called it quits. I was going to initially notify the server, but she was nowhere to be seen. My family finished their meals and she came back with the bill. At this point, I wasn’t going to wait. She asked if I needed a “to-go” box, but I declined.

This let me down as this is the complete opposite of all of my previous experiences.

We ordered the mystery muchie basket as an apatizer, which was promptly served. It was a good mix of fried things. He ordered the blueberry burger with peanut butter, which he said was delicious. Let's start with the appetizer. Got Mozzarella sticks they were done perfectly . It's my birthday tomorrow and I received a free drink which I thought was really nice and a birthday pudding shot (Tasty!) . I got a summer shandy . I decided to get frog legs since I haven't had any in over 13 years. They were seasoned well and breaded to perfection with a butter sauce that paired fairly well with it. The meat is soft and juicy and the legs were huge . I also got the chicken Bacon Ranch quesadilla and that was tantalizing to the taste buds . Not your run of the mill food. It was made with care and a passion for flavor. I have no idea what the name of my order was, but i can most assuredly tell you that what i ate brought me to a world where pain doth not exist. A place where fear, hate, and sadness are not. Upon taking that first bite of whatever deepfried machination lay before me, all perception of what is and what once was were shattered. For a brief moment, I was not, nor had ever been "Bryce." For just a brief, fleeting moment, every negative aspect of my life vanished, and in its place resided a ball of pure, greasy energy... and ham. I walked towards that hamball, mesmerized by both its brilliance as well as its greasiness. Just before reaching out, i steeled my resolve (and arteries) and said a prayer. What happened next transcended what is even capable of expression via such paltry human vernacular. In brief, i met God when i tasted that ham. And she was beautiful. Kinda like the redhead behind the counter, but with a way deeper voice. Very surreal for ham.

We looked at several places to eat for specials and decided the meatloaf and Mac and cheese sounded the best. We have eaten here before and had good experiences. Fish was delicious on a Friday we went other times. But the meals we were served this trip were absolutely terrible. This did not need to be served as a special, rather a dumpster treat. The meat was bland and the gravy tasted weird. The Mac and cheese tasted like noodles in water with yellow food coloring. The toast was pretty good! Service was good. Place was pretty busy minutes after we got there. I DON'T RECOMMEND the meatloaf and Mac.

It may not look like a lot from the outside, but this quaint themed restaurant and bar is stand-out.

My husband said he'd move to Wisconsin for these burgers. By far the best place we've been to in the last 4 days on our trip from Michigan to Minnesota and back.

The Bermuda Triangle cocktail is delish.

Everything was amazing.

The letterboard told us to seat ourselves, so we did. By the time we were glancing at the menus someone was taking our drink order. While she retrieved the drinks another server stopped and checked on us.

My husband had a bacon and cheese smashburger and said it may be the best burger he's ever had at a restaurant.

I had the blueberry smashburger, it was a delightful combo of sweet and salty. Bacon and cheese with blueberry jam and blueberry bread peanut butter was offered, but I didn't try it- I would next time!

Two meals, two cocktails and a soft drink totaled $44 and we both left satisfied.

Highly recommend and I look forward to the next trip through Wisconsin so we can go again.

This is the 3rd time we've been there and each time it's been worse. The 1st was great, I even left a nice review, so we opted to go again. The 2nd was not so great. The table next to us was extremely loud and drunk, people falling all over the place. The server was not attentive and the chicken dinner we ordered was dry, but edible. The 3rd time, this past weekend, was not great either. The service was good but my meal was terrible. It seems to be hit or miss here, depending on the day, time of day, and who's working. My experience here was awful from the moment I sat down. The waitress was totally and unacceptably rude! I don't drink so I asked her if she could make me a mock tail. Her response was, No, unless you're familiar with how to make one. I'm sorry but that is not how you talk to a customer!
Then our food arrives. I ordered a half chicken dinner. It was awful 🤢 the mashed potatoes and gravy were lumpy, the cole slaw was sour and the chicken was so dry. I just about choked trying to swallow it.

Recently we stopped at The Windjammer for the first time. The updates were beautiful and the service was very complimentary, as far s friendliness. Unfortunately, my prime rib was terribly overcooked. I didn't know that medium meant more than well done. I didn't want to bother the waitress as she was running around, trying to maintain several tables at once while bartending on a Saturday night -- hence slower service but still with a smile. Overall, prime rib was overcooked and flavorless, mashed potatoes were amazing, but gravy had a film from sitting under the heat lamp, service was slow due to lack of staff (to be expected, but not excused).
On the bright side the appetizer and salad were amazing and my partner's Carne Steak Quesadilla was very flavorful and good :)
I hope that this comes across as constructive criticize, rather than something taken negatively.

We were invited by great friends to join them at The Windjammer (formerly Trade Winds) for a Sunday lunch. This was our first visit and we really appreciated the updated atmosphere. The tables were spaced nicely for room and safety. Our waitress was dynamite! Fantastic customer service and attentive. Our friends have been there several times and couldn’t stop bragging up the service and delicious food at very reasonable prices. We couldn’t agree more. I had the half chicken meal, which was on special Sunday. Hands down, this is the best chicken I’ve ever had. The perfect amount of breading. It’s hard to describe the incredibly flavorful, juicy chicken. My wife had shrimp and said it was delicious as well. We shared some appetizers including pretzel fries that came with both beer cheese and mustard dipping sauces. We will pay it forward and spread the word. This place is doing it right!
