Friday fish fry three piece cod dinner at Thirsty Badger in Beloit Wisconsin. It was a little on the greasy side for me, but I hear it is hit or miss there depending on who's cooking.I had the Italian beef there before, and it was very good. Local bar on prairie ave in Beloit WI. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I usually have a pineapple and Malibu, the waitress suggested trying rum haven which is a top shelf liquor which tasted very delicious with the pineapple. They also have slots, and a pool table. Very nice atmosphere, clean as well. They have food but I have not tried it yet.

Great food and service. Lori was friendly and attentive. Stopped with kids and everyone enjoyed their meals: Rueben, burgers, wings, and a wrap were all delicious. If you can't update the website which has your old menu on it, then maybe you can place your current menu somewhere else, like on your FB page. As soon as I asked about the prices and the increase upon arriving (from when I called in my order), you handed me a flyer with your current prices so I could see the differences. You knew about the controversy, yet you still have it go on. Burgers went up $4.00, from $7.99 to $11.99. 6 potato skins at $6.99 became 4 potato skins for $10.99 which needed way more cheese. Cheese curds (choice of a variety of cheeses) which were $7.99 are now Muenster-only curds at $8.49; I would think the quantity is fewer - 14 tonight. Imagine my overall sticker shock - and for less food. Used to be asked how I wanted my burger; not anymore. Would have thought more people would be there for a Super Bowl party/gathering - a proverbial ghost town. I guess that's a thing of the past too. I'm sure I won't be back.

Went for fish fry in a Friday. There was 1 server, 1 bar tender , 1. Very Very high bus boy. We were a party of 8. Shortly after we arrived a party of 20 arrived. It took 30 mins to order food, our appetizer never arrived. My wife ordered a chicken wrap and got a BLT wrap. My burger was very dry and tasteless. They took 3$ off the meal. Will not be returning. We were the only people at the bar(2 of us). Bartender was too busy taking selfies behind the bar to give us a menu or take our order. When we did get our food, some was missing and we couldn't get her attention. We ate what we had anyways and just paid and left. On 12/14 it was a cold, wet, rainy/snowy day. We worked as long as we could in the weather. Became wet from working outside, but went here for lunch. The food was great!! It was also very prompt. I'd recommend this establishment for lunch or dinner anytime. The prices were a little high, but the quality of the food offset the price. There's also a steak grill for personal cooking within designated times. Great place!!

Went there today for the 1st time and I'll never go again. We waited forever for our food. We knew our food was sitting in the back but the waitress never went to get it until I asked for our drink bill cause we were gonna leave. She was like your food should be ready soon. She asked another lady who I assumed is the manager and she said there's lots of food just waiting to be served. So she brought it out and it wasn't even hot any more just lukewarm the sauce on my wings were cold so I didn't even eat them. Service was so bad so people left without getting waited on and some customers went behind the bar and got their own drinks.

Haven't been here in forever but wanted to share the place with my husband since he has never been. Bartenders were not the most personable and didn't seem to like their job. We ordered a snack and waited what seemed to be forever with less than 20 people in the bar. Food was luke warm and the pickles were under cooked loaded with oil. We told the bartender when she finally acknowledged us, but I don't think she took it off our bill because it wasn't an itemized receipt. I also wanted to pay with cash and when I asked for my tab, before I could say anything, he ran my card. Point of the story, won't go back.

Current bartenders will run this place into the ground!! Service is stunningly terrible and their kegs are to wrong handles! Blue Moon was Not right. Then we tried some funny named something and That was BMoon.
With a dozen patrons both bartenders actually left for?? Maybe 20 minutes. One patron got up and served himself! The rest of the time, They actually sat next to each other on their phones. Head down. Actually had to yell excuse me and then the young lady would get up, do what you asked and sit again.
A few local brews there. They hadn't even read their own sheet of info describing the beers! Nor tried them! She didn't even like beer. Who knows if he does, he said very little.
Great clean bar, the layout is slightly unique and designed that patrons can easily talk to each other. Nice open updated bar. Just won't go there again.

I do not remember our servers name and i am ashamed of that, however she was amazing and courteous and professional. She made all 7 of us feel welcomed and appreciated. Our order was complete to what we ordered it was delivered to the right people and we asked for extra things throughout our meal and she always provided with enthusiasm and willingness. We had a pretty big order and nothing was wrong with it. Shout out to the cooks as well, my wife is kinda picky about her burgers and she said they were the best she has had in a better part of 10 years. Thanks for all the great food and service. We will definitely be back, not sure when since we live out of state. I can not praise this place enough. Thank you.

We planned a family get together for Graduation on Sunday June 6, 2021. I had called a head to see if they were serving and could accommodate a party of around 15. We choose the Thirsty Badger because it is large and usually not to busy on a Sunday evening. When I arrived I told the Bartender that I had called. She told me that the dining room was closed because she did not have a server. She could not monitor both the bar and dining room. After talking with the cooks, she came back and said we could use it, since I had called. We had great service from both the bartender and the cooks. We had the dining room to ourselves and it was perfect for our little celebration on Graduation day. The Food and Drinks were good, and we were able to take our time and visit. The bartender took our order and I believe one of the cooks brought out our food promptly. I enjoy going to the Thirsty Badger, they always accommodate our needs. I highly recommend them. They put the customers first. I wish I had gotten all the staff's name to thank them personally. If your looking for a place that is large, cool, with good food and drinks I would recommend The Thirsty Badger.

I went out to eat here on Friday March 26th,2021 at about 4:30pm after viewing reviews I thought of checking it out had a little wait time for someone to take my food order but not too bad and ordered my food and boy was I shocked the food was done fast and it was amazingly tasting the only issue I had was the pop tasted like carbonized water instead of My.Dew pop . I plan on going back here very soon and highly recommend anyone else to check it out too ! The pricing was amazing to only 20 bucks for everything including a 6 dollar tip ! Wow what a gem of a place ! I never give 5 stars but this was hard to not to give this place 5 stars so gave them 4 stars Bravo Thirsty Badger Bar &Grill
