We had our small wedding here at the end of August. It was all I imagined, the venue is beautiful, we divided the space in half to have 2 different ceremonies in separate rooms and Jenni was more than happy to accommodate all my requests. The staff did a great job with everything and even helped us take down at the end of the night. Everything was beyond our expectations, we are extremely happy with Jenny and the whole Thornberry staff.
Anyone would be lucky to choose this venue for their wedding day.

My husband and I had our wedding at Thornberry Creek Golf Course in February of 2025. We had the most perfect day! Jenni was so great at communicating with us prior to our big day. She and the Thornberry Creek team were able to fulfill every request that we had, including letting us use the Golf Simulators in the Tap Room space during our cocktail hour and folding the napkins into heart shapes to go along with our Valentine's Day theme. We had our big day on the snowiest day of the year. The Thornberry Creek staff was there right away in the morning getting things ready for us, including extensive snow removal. All the food was amazing (especially the Nacho Bar), the bartenders were phenomenal, and everything went according to plan and on schedule. Cannot recommend this venue enough!

I went to Thornberry for my golden birthday and loved the golf — great conditions, a fun challenge, nice carts, and fair prices.

The restaurant, however, was very disappointing. We seated ourselves (per the sign) and waited 15 minutes with no service. After finally ordering, no one checked on us again. I was even served the wrong meal but couldn’t tell anyone because no one came back. When we went inside to pay and explained, the bartender just said “okay” and handed us the bill.

The golf was great, but I’d probably choose another course next time to avoid another poor food and beverage experience.

Played 18 holes today. Course was in great shape. Unfortunately the pace was very, very slow. Afterwards we went to the bar/restaurant for a beverage and perhaps a burger. As usual there was a single bartender. We sat at the bar and watched people from the deck walk in and get served, a few teen girls came in and were served, and three other adults came in and were served. We sat there for at least 10 minutes with absolutely no attention paid by the bartender. We decided to give up and as we were leaving I mentioned my disappointment to the bartender. No excuse for such poor service.

Arrived here to play golf and really enjoyed the coarse. Afterwards I was hungry/ thirsty, so I went to the bar. I got my drink no problem then a menu, but then was ready to order. I informed the bartender that I was ready to order but kept being told to wait, so I waited 35min before the bartender stopped by and asked what I wanted. When I showed up to the bar it was kinda busy but died down. I have now been waiting 45 min and going on for my food. Like I said coarse was great, but service at the bar was not worth it. I am a restaurant review for wisconsin where I go around and review bars/r. At 150pm I was finally given my food and according to the bartender she assumed I was leaving and put my food in a to-go container. When I received my food the sandbadger a puff pastry with smoked brisket I was burnt with black marks and frys were bland. The pastry was not fluffy as advertised more sprinkled with bread crumbs

I would give the course a 5/5 but it's honestly pathetic that they've outsourced booking a tee time. Charging $42 to golf 9 holes and you can't even talk with someone at the clubhouse. Hopefully management can do better.

I proposed to my girlfriend on the 18th green as friends and family watched from the balcony of the clubhouse. It was a perfect day, and the events team helped us with the planning and details. I could not have done it without them! Thanks to Thornberry, my Fiancée and I now have the memories of our special day, that turned out flawless. Special thank you to Sieeria, the events manager, for all of her help.

The Perfect Wedding Venue!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience with Thornberry Creek at Oneida. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The team was incredibly helpful every step of the way—always available, supportive, and genuinely invested in making our day as special as possible.

The staff were phenomenal—professional, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their attention to detail and warm, friendly approach made all the difference. The venue itself is breathtaking—stunning inside and out—and created the perfect backdrop for our big day.

Every guest commented on how beautiful everything was and how seamless the entire day felt. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married. It was everything we dreamed of and more!

We had the absolute wedding of our dreams at Thornberry Creek and words cannot fully express how magical the entire experience was. From the moment we toured the venue, we were blown away by the breathtaking beauty, thoughtful layout, and the warm professionalism of Jenni and the rest of the staff.
The venue itself is stunning and offers the perfect backdrop for unforgettable photos and moments. Every corner is picture-perfect, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the atmosphere.
The staff went above and beyond at every stage of planning and on the big day itself. Jenni was an absolute lifesaver—responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in making everything run smoothly. We felt supported from day one, and their attention to detail made our day everything we imagined it would be.
We’ve heard from so many guests that this was “the best wedding they’ve ever attended,” and we owe so much of that to Thornberry Creek!
If you’re searching for a venue that combines beauty, professionalism, and heart, look no further. Thornberry Creek is truly exceptional and made our special day one we will treasure forever. Thank you for everything!!

Went to Thornberry for dinner tonight with friends. My walleye was the best I’ve had. Seriously. Another friend had perch and he said they were awesome. The burgers looked huge and friends said they were also very good. Bryan our bartender was great. Will definitely be back. In the past, it’s been hit or miss. I hope they keep up the great work. 👍👍👍

Took 12 of my family for Mother’s Day. Very disappointed in the low quality of the food. What happened to the brunches of the past. The offering for Mother’s Day was 5 items. Had the Chicken and waffles. The waffles was 2 four inch squares and a chicken strip that was both cold and dry. What they called maple syrup was Smuckers in a plastic cup. Corn Syrup flavored that was thicker than honey. At $ 21.00 a dish!! This place has fallen pretty far considering the upscale facilities. Will not be returning any time in the future.

We've always enjoyed the elegance and experience Thornberry Creek Oneida offers, which makes this situation especially disappointing. I mistakenly booked Easter brunch for Saturday instead of Sunday, not realizing the date until after the purchase. We have to be out of town for our kids' sporting events and called as soon as we realized the error—nearly a week in advance.

Initially, I was told a refund could be issued, only to later receive a call stating that all sales are final. While I understand policies exist, what’s missing here is grace and understanding. The brunch is sold out, and we gave more than enough notice for our reservation to be re-listed. Unfortunately, the call back we received lacked any empathy, which was especially disheartening.

We’ve spent many special occasions here—Mother’s Day, dinners, and more—but this experience has made us rethink where we will spend our time and money.

I need more than 5 stars for this review! We did an intimate wedding in February of 2025 and this was the perfect spot. From initial contact of inquiry with Sieeria to the end of the evening of the wedding day, everything was top notch. Sieeria was wonderfully organized, prompt, and attentive with all correspondence for the event including any questions that I had for thewedding. She made wedding planning less stressful. When setting up for the event, we met our banquet manager Leigh Ann who was bartending at the bar in the lower level and after ordering a round of drinks, she even delivered them to the cupola room while we were setting up. She was equally as attentive the day of the event in the case that anything was needed and very accessible. With the wonderful job done by the staff, little was needed. The venue was beautiful with the all the intricate details as well as the views from the many windows in the cupola room. Chef Gabby created plated food, which included steak, that was also beyond delicious, with great presentation! My guests still continue to rave about their dinner. The younger banquet team serving the food was also wonderful. They were very prompt with food delivery and attending to our needs including plate removal as our reception was also held in the cupola room. Lastly, our bartender Dennis was beyond amazing. Our family's preferred drink of old fashioneds were top notch. His personality is perfect for his role as our mixologist. On a side note, we also noticed the way all team members worked together the day of the wedding to make it our PERFECT day. Thank you Thornberry!

Last month, we had our reception at Thornberry Creek and it was everything we hoped for and more! Throughout the entire planning process, Sieeria was responsive and extremely helpful (especially when it came down to the wire with changes and silly questions). Not only did the venue turn out beautiful, but the guests raved about their meal and how large the portions were. If you are looking for a place to have tour wedding, I highly recommend Thornberry Creek!

We got married May 2024 and couldn’t have asked for a better day or better experience with Thornberry. We worked with Jenni and she was absolutely amazing! I cannot express how grateful I was to have Jenni’s help and expertise. She answered all my questions in a timely manner and made the planning process so much easier! The venue itself is beautiful, so many options for photo opportunities (even if there’s a chance of rain). The day of staff was extremely helpful and so nice! Lastly, the food was SO GOOD. We still get compliments to this day about how good the food was. Would highly recommend Thornberry Creek at Oneida. 😊

Flew up to Green Bay for a meeting. Had a couple hours so we called here and asked if they had shorts we could buy and clubs to rent. Rochelle I think was her name was awesome and made us feel great about coming. We played the 9 hole course and it was in the best shape for $44. I’ve played TPC sawgrass and the condition rivaled it. When we got done I ran into the tik tok star club pro Cody! Bar tenders were great. Will be back next time we fly up to play an entire 18. By far one of the best golf course experiences I’ve had and we have a lot of no purses to choose from in Florida!

Great golf course, always excellent condition. Challenging, but not so much so that the mid to higher handicapper can't enjoy it. The 9 hole course is neat in that they have 2 pin placements on each green. Play it easier or play it tougher. Really beautiful clubhouse, electric carts are awesome. Update 5-27-24: New carts, no longer electric, but really nice with GPS. Course is in great shape, although the cart paths could use some attention in some areas. Great staff, friendly and attentive. Had a couple of homeowners on the course accuse a friend of mine of breaking a window. They then produced a ball I know for a fact he did not hit. They then literally surrounded my car in the parking lot, and the course employees immediately took their side. After such a garbage encounter with both the homeowners and the course staff, I will certainly never be back. Neither of us broke a window, but you lost 2 good customers. Well done. Please train your staff properly, and inform homeowners on the course that coming home to find a broken window doesn't mean you can accuse the first 2 people you see. They thought they could intimidate us into paying since we look young. We're not young and we're not gonna put up with this kind of bullying. Not gonna happen. Never coming back. Absolute trash.

The legends course was legendary to play. Many portions of the course was pretty rustic while other areas had many overlooking homes. The course quality was fantastic....good fast greens, fairways cut well, rough thick in some spots but tended to well. Sand traps played out like they should. Many challenges with turns, lakes and streams to work around, and elevated boxes. Awesome pro shop and staff working it with a fantastic club house. Only thing could ask more for is electric gps carts but various terrain could challenge thr electric use. Cart paths all blacktopped and kept up on. Cool landscaping....gotta love the packers lol

Everything about my niece's wedding was beautiful. Even the dinner presentations. Our table had pre~ordered pasta premeva, pork loin, and the chicken breast entrees. It all looked great, however, after trying each other's food, we agreed that it all tasted the same and just not good tasting. We were all expecting the food to taste amazing, but nobody finished their meals. There was no potatoes, a few veggies, but again, it all tasted the same. It was disgusting. I wish I didn't have to leave Thornberry Creek a poor review because everything else was exceptional (photo booth was lame and bartenders were super slow, but not nearly as bad as the food), but dinner was less than mediocre. Definitely review worthy.

We were very impressed with the initial booking of Thornberry a little over a year before our wedding date. There was some changes in staff as we were planning which made communication a little difficult, but still manageable. Our rehearsal dinner was absolutely amazing! The food and service was perfect. We did the pasta buffet which was delicious! We decided to move our ceremony indoors the night before our wedding due to the weather and we made the right choice. The staff set up everything once we made the decision so we could see it the night before. We ended up having our ceremony in the Coupla room which was tight but held 160ish people. We loved being able to take pictures on the course during our cocktail hour. Overall service the day off was fantastic! The food tasted amazing! They definitely went above and beyond for food allergies and dietary needs for our guests. Overall a beautiful venue!

We had our wedding here back in September. The venue is beautiful with a great layout for a larger wedding - mainly the reason we chose this location thinking the reputable name would live up to the standards.
However, within a year from signing the contract and having our wedding, we went through 3 coordinators through the venue - the last in which we weren’t even informed about until A MONTH before our wedding. We literally scrambled trying to get ahold of who we thought was our coordinator for last minute details, who, come to find out had no longer worked there anymore and no one ever forwarded our HANDFUL of emails to the new coordinator. The night of the rehearsal dinner and the day of the wedding, our new coordinator was literally no where to be found and was extremely rude the 2 times we were actually able to find her and approach her with questions, while meanwhile running around panicking getting everything together.
We had around 200 people for dinner with our ceremony being outside. You would think if they can have that many guests seated for dinner, they would be able to supply that many chairs for the ceremony… BUT 2 WEEKS BEFORE OUR WEDDING DATE, they told us they only had 100 chairs for the ceremony and we would have to rent 100 more from an outside source to be able to seat everyone outside.
11 DAYS BEFORE OUR WEDDING, we received an email from the coordinator stating the drink prices had nearly DOUBLED due to “inflation”. We planned on doing a happy hour with drinks being $4-6 a drink and were told they were now around $8 per drink!!!! Literally 11 DAYS BEFORE OUR WEDDING!!!!
Our SECOND wedding tasting was great, unlike the first where they piled the food on top of one another like a casserole. We were pleased with the second tasting and were promised that is how the food would be served the day of, which was great, however that was not the case. The food was piled up once again and was cold and very bland - absolutely nothing like our second tasting. Not to mention, dinner was served OVER AN HOUR after the salad and bread was brought out.
Overall, we were not impressed at all with this wedding venue the day of and the weeks leading up to our wedding. However, the bar and waitstaff were absolutely great, although understaffed. We also reached out to the general manager multiple times afterwards with no response. Do not recommend. 🙃

The dining here used to be good and now it is awful. We have been coming here for years and won’t come again. Gave them a few tries under their temporary management; and service and food is bad. I ordered a shrimp dish with Parmesan cheese and got goat cheese which I hate. Their idea of redoing it was to scrape the goat cheese of; this pieces of it all over. I could go on but hope they get their act together. A nice venue…very bad dining

We were here for a wedding on Friday. The place was beautiful. It’s a shame that the reception dance part was separate from the bar area. I did notice that the table the bride and groom were at for dinner wasn’t lit up very well. I can’t imagine their photos turning out to well unless the photographer knew what she was doing. The food was okay. The green beans were crunchy. I like my pasta/veggies al denté, but these were barely cooked. I’m talkin like maybe put in the boiling water for 30 seconds and pulled out. The presentation of the food was beautifully done. The drinks (open bar) were not good. The old fashions were basically soda. Couldn’t taste any of the brandy in them. Because of that, my husband ended up ordering beer from there on out.

We had my sisters wedding here. The venue was beautiful, the food was alright, and the waiters were nice. Our wedding coordinator, on the other hand, was absolutely terrible. We could never find her, she was rude when we asked her questions, she did absolutely no coordinating. We didn’t know what we were supposed to be doing the entire day and had to wing the whole thing. Luckily, it turned out okay thanks to help from other people and our photographer. The few weeks leading up to the wedding, there was nothing but issues with her. There was little communication, she DOUBLED drink prices a week before, and made many changes. It was very frustrating having little to no help the day of, making everyone, especially the bride, very upset.

Dinners were served and the final table received food at least 45 minutes after the first table. They seemed understaffed everywhere. Took 15 minutes to get a drink. Drink prices were inconsistent and I received the wrong change multiple times. Would not recommend to anyone.

I am not sure about all the 1 star reviews. I just played Thornberry yesterday morning and the course was in immaculate condition. Even with the drought conditions plaguing the Midwest, the course was in perfect condition. Starting with the practice area. The driving range was the flattest I’ve ever seen. The grass was perfection for a range. The course itself was great. The fairways had no brown spots and were nice and soft. The greens were also quick yet soft. Bravo to the greenskeepers for their efforts in being so meticulous in maintaining the course given the current temperatures and lack of rain!

Horrible coordination of a corporate outing. We worked with the course and Shawn -marketing director and had things set up prior to the event. Day of the event, the course did not have anything ready for our outing, did not have lunches or pre paid drink tickets for the outing and did not have the tee times scheduled correctly. At the turn to hole 10, the course was starting other tee times intermixed with our outing. No one that worked at the course was willing to help. Talked with the manager and he basically stated it was not his problem. I would never consider this course for a corporate outing. Take your business elsewhere.

Was pushed through on golf so they could start their league. We were not holding up other golfers, and we were also not waiting. But the guy just kept coming around and rushing us. Maybe they shouldn't have sold tee times so close to the league start?? And we finished golfing 1 hour BEFORE their league was supposed to start. Horrible experience, won't be back. We used to golf there all of the time. Not anymore.

Recently engaged and started touring venues. Thornberry was by far the worst experience we had. The venue itself looks great, but their level of customer service was terrible. When we arrived for our tour they forgot about it and told us the event coordinator won't come back for our appointment. During our second tour they have no updated packets or costs for 2023. Due to inflation, they will not commit to any pricing and expected us to sign a contract without knowing even a range of what it would cost. Their employees seem overwhelmed, overworked, and short staffed which really would concern me on wedding day. What started as my ideal choice of venue turned out to be one I would never recommend.

First time playing a round there. While the course was very nice and well maintained, the customer care experience was really awful.
It was 85-90 degrees today and there were absolutely no water coolers in course. There was probably only 1 beverage cart on the course which I am sympathetic with considering staff shortages across all industries, but on days like these they should have done something to help with that. We got some waters around the 5th hole and didn’t get another chance again until 16th. By that time there were at least 4 other groups that rushed from different holes to try to get waters and sport drinks. This was not about fun drinks, people out there were in need of hydration. By 13th I probably didn’t have any energy to swing a driver and lost any interest in scoring since I was looking around the whole time to see if I would catch the so needed beverage cart.
I had such high expectations, and it was disappointing experience beyond the course.
Hopefully it was a fluke but be aware if you are playing with younger or older people it can get dangerous on conditions like today.

First time golfing this facility. Course was in good shape, except Tee boxes need some love. Overall tough track, but the service was horrendous and unacceptable. As many places are experiencing staff shortages - I assume this place is as well. There was one cart gal driving around we went almost 3 hours without anyone finding us and the one that drove by our party didn't stop we had to flag her down from a hole away. This course had two places for water coolers with no water coolers. It was 85-90 degrees outside. I called the restaurant to see if they could send someone out to the 13th hole and they said they could not. Went in to talk to the staff about the water coolers. They could've cared less. I wish I had four hands to give this service four thumbs down

Hard to believe this place has ever hosted a LPGA tour event. Greens were ungodly slow and soft. Zero signs of sand top dressing. Tee boxes were some of the worst I’ve seen. Overall very unimpressed, not a place I’ll ever be back at. Absolutely not worth the money.

Golfed on Saturday, September 5th. The Bar staff was friendly and the food was really good, with big portions. The course was BEAT ALL UP!! The tee boxes were destroyed. Trying to find a decent place to tee off was difficult. Apparently nobody fixes their ball marks on the greens, And I have no idea what is going on with hole 17, but it is a mess. Maybe would try again earlier in the year and see what it is like

We called about 4 weeks in advance for a bachelor party in order to play as a group of 6. We booked 2 tee times in order to accommodate this. The head pro, Travis, would not allow us to play together even though we were behind the group in front of us the entire time. Unfortunate that the head pro, Travis, is so stuck up in the rules of golf to disallow a group of guys to play golf at a fast pace with their friends.

Nice course. Higher end, little more pricey than others around, but you get what you pay for. Personally not a fan of the houses along every hole and driving across streets between holes. Feels like you are golfing in everyone's backyard. Enough to challenge the weekend golfer, but not enough to be overwhelmed.

Underwhelmed! Went during restaurant week. Pork postickers- the filling was dry and overcooked. Tuscan chicken pizza- underseasoned, very bland, came out lukewarm, and flatbread was rubbery. Shortcake had a rye bread taste to it that overwhelmed the other flavors. Best thing out of everything was my husband's side of cajun tots.

Very nice course, beautiful setting. Greens and fairways were so well kept and a lot of fun to play. Worth the price and had a great practuce facility. Only piece I would say wasnt top notch was the driving range. Seemed very short, but putting anf chipping greens were great! Would definitely recommend to play to any skill level!
