I had been going most every week this summer for the fish and chips and a beer. The fish and chips is very good, but there is never enough coleslaw for my liking. This is not unusual for most of the places where I go for a fish dinner. Up until my last visit at Three Lions Pub, whenever I asked for an extra coleslaw, I was happily given one at no extra charge. This is also the case at every other restaurant/bar where I have fish because the amount of coleslaw is always small. It is, and I believe should be the norm to supply an extra one at no charge. It is good business policy. On my LAST visit at Three Lions I was told that their policy is to charge for an extra coleslaw and "would that be a problem." I very firmly expressed my opinion that would be a problem, and did not place an order for fish, and said I would not be back. I had already ordered a soda, and to the bartenders credit, he did not charge me for the soda. It isn't that I can't afford to pay for an extra coleslaw. Whatever the cost might have been (I didn't ask) it would not have made a dent in my financial condition. It was the principal that got me so upset. I owned my own business for 26 years and was lectured early on by one of my salesman to never be "penny wise and pound foolish." At the time, I was just that. Ticking off a customer by charging for a small item that is inconsequential in the big picture can cause one to loose that customer and it could have cost my company tens of thousands of dollars in future business. On the other hand, giving away a small item can mean a lot to a customer and assure that they will be a customer for years to come and the increased revenue that comes with that. So, in summary, it just gets me SO MAD when I see this attitude in a business owner, because in my opinion, they are shooting themselves in the foot over nothing. In this case, I would be willing to bet not more than 1 in 100 people ask for an extra coleslaw, but because they got me so upset over that attitude, I have not been back and probably won't be. So sad. There, I got that off my chest. Maybe if they read this they will understand how "penny wise and pound foolish" is SUCH A BAD POLICY.

Very unprofessional staff. My family and an unrelated party came in at 8:27 PM, when their posted hours on the door state that the kitchen closes at 9 PM. The other group even called ahead and they confirmed that the kitchen was open until 9 PM tonight. We were told that the kitchen was closing at 8:30 PM because it was "too slow," despite two parties coming in at 8:27 PM. This establishment needs to work on their customer service.

Really wanted to like this place, as I like to support neighborhood joints. I waited an hour for a $16 burger that was overcooked and served with a crunchy tomato slice and a shred of lettuce slightly larger than a postage stamp. They don’t do pickles or onions.

My partner and I have been long time fans of Three Lions. We used to frequent the restaurant at least twice a month. The service has always not been amazing but the food has always made up for it.

Unfortunately, we have had three negative experiences in a row recently. My partner and I have ate at the restaurant and picked up carry out orders most recently. Each time something about our order has been wrong. When eating at the restaurant we typically just deal with it due to slow service and not wanting to have to wait any longer than we already have for correct food items. Our last time dining in we wanted to order more drinks or dessert and hang out for a bit but our server never checked in with us post us getting our food and then just came by eventually and gave us our check.

Additionally, we have walked home after picking up our carry out order to find items missing or that we were given an entirely different items from what we ordered. We really loved Three Lions since moving to the area a few years ago but we most likely won’t be frequenting it as often as we used to due to all the issues we recently experienced.

This is the second time I have received poor service from this restaurant. The first time they didn’t put 1000 island on my Ruben. It took over a week to be refunded. I decided to give them another chance because the food used to be good. Bad idea the staff sat at the corner of the bar hovering over me doing shots and talking about how high they get at work. Completely obnoxious. Then I get my food and again made wrong. They gave me a burger with nothing on it. This was carry out so noticed it after I left. Called and they said they would refund my money. They never did. Don’t go to this place. Poorly managed and a free for all with the college staff.

THIS RESTAURANT ALMOST KILLED ME! They served me food (fish and chips) on a dirty plate and I got food poisoning from it so bad I ended up in the hospital. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. If you care about your health and the health of your loved ones, don't go here! You might be saving a life!

And to top it all off, they couldn't care less. They never gave me anything for my suffering and even said that it might have not been caused by them. When it's common sense that someone is likely to get food poisoning when you serve them food on a dirty plate.

Sorry guys...our waitress had no idea what kind of fish the kitchen was serving on "their most popular dish", Fish and Chips. It's OK to say "Wow that's a great question 🤔 and I should totally know the answer, let me double check with the chef and find out for you right away".... instead of what we got.... stammered, ummm, well.........ya know I really don't know." Ordered over Uber eats. Got poutine and the grilled cheese, the poutine came without cheese curds..... it's a three ingredient dish... really not that hard to get right. What a huge disappointment; with a sense of occasion, I looked forward to having dinner and a couple of beers with my son. This place is usually great, with sports, and great food. But tonight was an exception. We ordered appetizers and drink and came out in 30 min with hot food. Then we ordered our main meals and they didn't come out for 2 hours and came out cold af. I believe that a party was in the back so that might be the problem and this place was ran by a bunch of 16 year olds. We asked for our money back and they said yes, but only for the cold food. So we paid 60 bucks for drinks, apps and cold food all in three hours. On a normal day this place is great. Had to go to get fast food after. Paying another 50 bucks.

Between Three Lions Pub and its sister bar - Red Lion Pub, I’ve been many times. The food is always excellent with a good selection of draft beers (the fish and chips is top notch and I personally recommend pairing it with a Smithwicks). For any soccer fans out there, it’s definitely the place to watch the game! The bartenders and servers are all fun yet attentive. The place is clearly the kind of pub that has its cast of regulars, which is always a good sign in my book. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly with booths, tabletop, and bar seating. It’s a proper British pub. There is readily available street parking as well.

We were greeted at the door and seated immediately. Waitress was very friendly and attentive and the food that we received was hot and delicious. I gave the restaurant a rating of three stars for two reasons: we were seated in the bar side of the restaurant which was fine, however there was a man at the bar who was rather belligerent and noisy, using foul language which was an issue because there were also families seated in that section. It seems as if the restaurant needs to decide whether they're going to be family-friendly or a bar. Maybe divide the restaurant up as such? Also, I was surprised to find a 3% convenience fee on my bill. What on Earth is a convenience fee? When you get charged for something that can't be explained by the wait staff, it can leave a customer feeling duped or cheated. Despite the good food, I doubt I will be a return customer.

The fact that so many locals found their way through the elements to this local watering hole says a lot about their service. Very relaxed atmosphere. Every time I go into Three Lions Pub, I enjoy the absolute amazingness that makes up this piblic house! The staff is always phenomenal, friendly, talkative, and informative, and, even when they're busy, are as prompt as possible with service. Their drink menu always seems to have something new and interesting to try, though their old standbys of an Irish coffee and rather eclectic beer selection are readily enjoyable. Their food menu I never can seem to get enough of, and when you go here, you need to get a Scotch egg. Also, one of my favorite things has always been the capability to go there in the very early morning when they open up for games over it in Europe. It's was not every Saturday, (last I checked) but they're typically open early enough that you can always have breakfast there.

I had 1 of the best burgers Ive ever had! Incredibly juicy and flavorful with smoked gouda cheese. It has to be tried to understand how perfect it is. The fries are very crisp on the outside but not burned and sct inside. Simply incredible! My wife had the fish & chips which was very good. We had a Scotch egg as an appetizer that really wasn't very good and was overwhelmed by garlic in the sausage.
The Guinness was in a very clean glass and poured perfectly.

This is an English pub we heard about.... We wanted to try something different and so we thought we would give it a try... Service was great.... It was pretty cool feeling like you're in a pub...
I ordered salmon with peach glaze and quinoa and bean salad.... I'm not crazy about salmon but this salmon was really delicious with a peach glaze and the salad was wonderful ....I would love to buy more of that...

I do have to say that my favorite dessert is tiramisu and they had tiramisu.... We only took one bite from a corner just to nibble and took the rest home.... To our surprise when we got it home, it was stale and extremely hard..... So disappointed... For that, they get four stars only...... But all-in-all I still like the place.

Watch real football games (soccer here, haha) besides other sports on the many TV screens over the whole place. The place is split into multiple sections with different seating styles (tables, booths, and bar).
Food is served besides drinks (on tap or bottled).
If you are a fan of the Premier League, you gotta watch your fav team games there. If it is the big six match, reserve your spot or come in early (at least 30 min) to get a prime location.

Was absolutely amazing! We stopped here at random while in the Milwaukee area and had some of the better food we've had throughout the state. I’m typically thrilled with the food from here. I’ve brought my brother in law who is from Liverpool and he loved the place and said it was like being back in England. But today I ordered cauliflower bites which we’ve had here before and adored. This time we ordered a couple appetizers to have at Draft & Vessel and instead of what we’ve gotten in the past we received something that looked like a doggy bag for someone’s side of grilled cauliflower and not an appetizer and certainly not what one might depot get when they’d order cauliflower bites and definitely not the quantity. You could easily visibly count the number of pieces. I’d have posted five stars but taking two off for this sad showing.

The food came super quick, and was hot from the friers. I was impressed with the portion size of the fish and chips, looked like a whole side of fish. Unfortunately, the fish tasted funky, like it was going bad. The grouper Reuben was fine, as were the chips.

Service was inattentive, yet polite.
